The first rounds of the tournament were over, and a few days had passed since then. Celebrations and excitement were to be expected from the contestants, yet all five of them sat in Lady Luna's office with dark, worried expressions.
"That's a stretch. A huge one. You might as well be making it up." Luna said, her hands on her hips. "I can't act on your hunches and guesses."
"Mom!" Clara protested. "Aether almost died! What more proof do you need?"
"He nearly died because of the actions of one single girl." Lady Luna replied with a cold voice. "You are telling me that the entire tournament committee is working against you." She raised her eyebrows and made a vague gesture towards Aether. "He's fine now and you're overreacting Clara." Her gaze lingered on Erika. "And what about you – do you believe that?"
