It didn't take much longer for Clara's worries to be proven right. The news hit the group as they were training.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Seth exclaimed. "How is it delayed? To when?" He shouted, with more than a little anger in his voice.
"Calm down." Erika sighed. "It's not in two days, the next match of the preliminary rounds is in four days. Since it's the last match before the nationals, they apparently want to make sure 'everything is ready'." From her mocking voice, it was clear she didn't believe a word of it. "I bet they're trying to figure out how to get Clara out of the game." She added after a moment.
The second-year bit her lower lip. "I hate this." She hissed after a moment. "I'll talk with mom, you guys continue." She said before running off towards the main building.
