My parents worked late this Friday, I had dinner alone and our family time had to be set on another day. That Friday, I made some spaghetti with sauce for everyone - by everyone I mean me and my parents.
Before I wet home, me and Zachary stopped together to get the spaghetti I needed for dinner, and I also got some chocolate, which is needed and very craved at home, at all times. Then, before going home we stopped by the park on the way to see the kittens. It has become a habit by now, our very special thing - mine and Zachary's. No one other than us know about it and for that, it has become a secret between us.
The environment at the park was calm and quite, just the way a Friday should be - calm and peaceful. The twitter sound coming from the birds and the sound of leaves on the tree when the wind blows on them. The hisses from the cats and playful Zachary - that second was perfect, it felt very incredible.
He asked me to come with him to the kittens place the next day too, on Saturday, because he wanted to draw them. I told him that I won't be able to come with him if it's in the early morning or if it means staying for too long. "Are you busy, should we leave it to another day" he asked. But I said; "no, I'm just accompanying my mom shopping in the morning, then we're having dinner and some family time." But I could still come for a few hours and I didn't regret it coming.
When Zachary asked if we should go another day, I was happy. It means he wouldn't go there without me.
Then, when we were together yesterday, on Saturday, I asked him if he was up to anything on Sunday and he says yes. Then, he wondered if I had something for him and I said no. This means that he was honest with Mira at that time when she asked him out. I had him wrong but I wonder about what he's up to. I did not ask him and he didn't tell me too. It sounds like it is something important to him.
I took a long shower when I came back home that Friday and washed off all the distress from this week. The drama was over. Then I thought, that's why Fridays are so perfected, they tell you that it's the last day of work and come with two days of break time - and yes, that is all I need. I do also believe that everyone thinks that way and love Fridays.
On usual days, my mother would go shopping in the morning. She says that the best ingredients are found early in the morning so she would buy the ingredients to make an extra cool dinner for Saturday, and she'd also do normal shopping we need for the rest of the week. We would always get cereal, vegetables and some fruits, while on the days I'm with her, we also get some more snacks. The list becomes quite long to be fair: biscuits, cookies, candy, chocolate and ice cream, are necessaries, after all.
I told my mother that I wouldn't be able to help her with dinner this time since I'll be out. I don't always help out, still, I do help her with buying everything and I am the one who does dishes.
While shopping day is on Saturday, our family time is usually on Fridays and Sundays are cleaning days along with being the days we do something, say if we are going somewhere or meeting relatives.
When we are having some family time we could be doing anything. My and my parents could play cards or some game. I don't think all parents do spend time with their kids as a family but I'm happy I could spend time with mine. When my parents are feeling tired from work or too exhausted to be doing something that requires attention or being focused we would simply watch a movie and eat lots and lots of chips. My mom would make Pop Corn but I prefer chips.
This time after dinner we watched some funny videos while having a drink, then a bug came inside and my parents had to chase it out because of me. When we were done we sat down in the living room and they talked about work together.
I got a message from Zachary, then. Me heart beat so fast, it was about to jump ou of my chest. It's been some time.
"Ed Sheeran" the message said. Before I answered I went to the kitchen to get something to eat. I was really happy. I put the phone on top of the microwave and pulled out a chair to reach the top cabin. Then, as I bought the sweets down, I saw my phone blinking. "Answer fast, do not take your time" I giggled. I do take my time after all... I wonder what he's got to say.
To be continued...
