He embraced her closer to him and tugged his chin to the chest. As he lift her up, she licked his hand and then his face - he chuckled.
Adrienne who played with the other two kittens glanced at the two of them every now and then, they were way too engaging together, if only time could stop here. Unfortunately, they had to get going to school sooner or later.
"Zachary, we have to go now. You will see your cutie again in a few hours" she told him.
"Yeah, let's go" he gave the kitten a final hug and they went on to school.
When they had just left, he said, "I was thinking, have you named them yet? I don't see you calling their names."
"No, I haven't named them yet" she thought. How could she had forgotten something like that - she kept calling them kittens and kitties. "Do you have any suggestions?" - she asked him.
The both of them imagined the kittens in front of them. Coming up with names that way, made it easier.
None came up with something, though. "How about we... take the color of their fur and find a word that rhymes with it?" She suggested, and he laughed, to think this was the best idea so far.
"Uhu" he said. "And if they got more than one color?"
"Hmm... it's hard to find a good word that'd rhyme, so we pick the color we rhyme a word with first, how does that sound?"
Coming up with rhymes was a lot harder than imagined. It was hilarious, "what rhymes with grey?"
They added letters and switched some but with no results. In the end, Adrienne said "Zachary," she laughed. "Grey, let's simply call him grey?" He started laughing too - after going through so much trouble to think of a name they kept it as it is.
"Couldn't come up with a better name myself!" Grey was perfect, now to the other ones. "Let's try to rhyme the others, we can't make it too easy for ourselves" he said.
She agreed, "So, there is the white and black color left. How about we start by switching the first letter with b, since the letter a is a vocal?" They had previously chosen vocals to switch with but it made it a lot more difficult.
"Yeah, that would make it Bhite and black already got a b, it doesnt sound very good, does it?" He thought for a second, then; "But white and Bright rhyme, what do you think?! Bright?"
"Shoot!! You got it and he is pretty bright too, always jumping and playing around" She chortled, "now only the black kitten left." They thought of a name and came up with the words: slack, lack, flack and clack.
"Flack - kind of reminds me of flash, and flash becomes flashy. I think she is pretty flashy, you know." Zachary said.
"Actually, it might be a he too."
"Whaaa!" He said and she started to laugh.
After sometime of hard thinking, they were at the verge of giving up. "I need a snack - I used my brain cells too much, probably all of them, and so early in the morning." She was helpless, none of them had anything to eat, but-
"Ed Sheeran! You have it right there" he shouted.
Adrienne unbent, "really" she smiled. "Where is it?" She really looked forward to it, the sweet taste and the crispy biscuit maybe, even if it's only chocolate, it'd be fine - it would melt in the mouth and taste even better, then.
She kept daydreaming, Zachary who realized that she misunderstood him burst out laughing. At that time Mira walked a little further away. She along with couple other students turned their heads around, attracted by the loud laughter, from Zachary.
"Snack" he said. "That is it, let's call black that, okay?"
He wore a different face every time Adrienne would see him. She imagined the Black as a human and it seemed pretty handsome as one.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good name. He's rather handsome" she said.
Mira observed the both of them closely but quietly. She might have been waiting for Zachary to come a little closer, to say hi.
"Handsome?" he replied. "Aren't I handsome? Even more handsome than him, right?"
He indeed looked extremely handsome in that fit, in any fit but looking extra hot today. "Yeah... I don't know about that" she told him instead.

It was lunch break now. She tidied her things and saw Zachary waiting outside. Finally, everything is back to normal. She picked her phone from the desk and went to have lunch together with him.
Now school day has finally ended. Zachary wasn't outside the classroom this time, so, Adrienne went upstairs to his class. She saw him talking to Mira. From the looks of it she seemed to invite him somewhere, "I already made plans with someone" he replied.
When he came out of class, she was there. He gave her a bright smile and said "Let's not waste any more time." Adrienne had his full attention then and there, but if only she had noticed.

Before going to the park they went the opposite direction to get some milk Zachary needed, "Ed, look at this. There seem to be another way; shortcut to the park. Let's take it." What was interesting, is the fact that he had no idea about where it would led to... as usual. Adrienne supposed that from previous experiences with him.
After a short discussion, the took the route he recommended. 10 minutes later they were completely lost. On the way there they took an additional shortcut, because he was "100% certain about this way". Adrienne wasn't convinced about the road they were about to take, but she could not stop him in the end.
After guessing some directions he managed to find the park, at last. It was easy to know the way to the kittens from there.
The way he chose was two minutes faster then the original road, that went around the school. That fact, made him so proud of himself.
It may have been a little faster to take the way he suggested, if only he knew the directions to the park, she thanked god he didn't, otherwise he would have totally won this round, which he wouldn't stop bragging about.
