Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Meeting a Spoiled Brat and a Spoiled Chad

Passengers in the ship were given patches as their identification card. These patches were differentiate by their color. Yellow is for the outer passengers who were given a small room that fits a single bed and a desk, they are allowed to enter public bathrooms and can only enter limited places. Blue is for the privileged passengers who are given a room with a bed, a bathroom, a living room and can enter in places like a public training room, a pool and lots more. Red was for the VIA passengers who are able to enter 80% of the entire ship and had lavish privileges, they even get to have their own personal training room and eat any food they want. This patches also serve as an identification of hierarchy so majority of the yellow patched passenger were given unfair treatment and little to no respect. This included Kal, he was given a rend good tip by a fellow passenger that if he wanted to survive in this harsh predicament, unless he wanted to go to places needing identification or any place without a guards sight, he could just hide his patch so he wouldn't be a target to the people from above.

That's why Austin who was a red patch passenger was eager to chat with him since he didn't saw his patch. Now that the situation had occurred, Kal had binded up the young men who were all blue patches and guards quickly arrived to foresee the situation.

Kal had sense 5 guards approaching his direction and he immediately released his aura around the young men and continue to sit their casually as he looked at the young men who were slowly standing up in their feet breathing heavily.

"You...bastard."

"What the hell is going on here?" A guard asked as he looked at Kal and the young men.

"It was him sir! I don't know what he did but when we approached him, we suddenly were unable to breath and a heavy weight had pressed us down in the ground! See this? Look how red face is! It was all due to that bastard." The young man said as he showed the red cheeky part on his face. The other men also showed their red face and nodded in agreement. The guard looked at Kal with a furious expression.

"Is it true that you did this?" The guard asked Kal who seemed confused,

"I didn't do it. I didn't even move from position or even lift a single finger and suddenly, they fell to the floor." Kal said, although what Kal said was actually true the young men didn't believe it and immediately refuted to his words.

"He's lying!"

"He definitely did something to us!"

"It must've been a skill that he used against us." They were quick to refute to Kal's statements. The guard couldn't tell which was lying and which was telling the truth so he asked the people in the crowd who had saw it.

"We were also surprised why they suddenly fell on their faces but the man was telling the truth, he really didn't move from his seat." A witness said.

"Yeah, it almost looked like an invincible power that pushed them on the ground but even I a B-rank hunter couldn't feel any mana coming out from the man since I was relatively close to when the situation occurred." Everyone was defending Kal putting the young men on the edge and when the guards where about to accept the given statements a guard asked Kal.

"Young man, where is your patch?" The guard asked Kal. Kal paused for a brief moment and pulled out the patch he placed in his pocket. As soon as everyone saw the patch, they were both surprised and was in disdain.

"Look! He's a yellow patched and the reason why we approach him was because he had offended the young master, Austin Lucas!" They were quick to retaliate and as soon as they heard the surname, Lucas, those who defended Kal fell silent and everyone change their look at Kal with rage and pity.

"We were about to slide this one out but not only a yellow patch like you offend a red patched VIP, the one you had to offend was the second son of the great Lucas family. You have committed a grave sin! Guards, restrain him!" The guards were quick on their feet and immediately put a restraining hand cuff on Kal's hand. Kal didn't have a choice but follow what they said and he felt bitter.

'Damn it, who could've thought that I'd be imprisoned because of a spoiled brat.' Kal was distasted by the situation . The restraining hand cuff had restrained most of his mana power yet he knew he could break free from the hand cuffs with just his sheer strength but he decided not to because he was a law abiding citizen, he'd only break the law unless he was put in a situation where he had no other choice to pick. The young men where looking at Kal merrily as they sneered in thought,

"That's what you get for offending young master Austin!" They all threw words of insult as Kal like Karma had bitten back at him for such grave sin. As Kal was about to be held in prison, a young man stopped the guards.

"Wait up, you have just caught the wrong guy." The mysterious voice echoed among the crowds.

"Haaah!? Who the hell are you?" One of the young men said as they stared at the source of the voice. From the crowd, a handsome man emerged. He was wearing a maroon vest that looked quite fancy. He had sharp nose, sharp chin, blue eyes and had a jet black hair and he looked like a mix of western and eastern features. He looked like he was in his early 20s and in his age, he was exuding a powerful aura that almost placed him in an S-rank's level.

"It's Kevin Kojiro! The sword prince of the east!" When they heard the name they reacted immediately in shock and awe as they brought out their phones to try and get a selfie with such high profiled celebrity. Kevin Kojiro, hailed from a royal family of swordsmen in Japan. His father, Aise Kojiro who is the third brother of the King of the imperial family is a powerful S-rank hunter titled as "Eastern Sword God". Despite the imperial rule, not only did Aise Kojiro married a commoner, it was not even Japanese but an American woman who had a humble background. This would've resulted in Aise Kojiro being stripped by his royal title but due to his influence and being one of the biggest asset of the royal family, they didn't want to lose a pillar of the imperial family so they decided to pardon his sins and make the foreign woman as part of the royal family. Kevin Kojiro, not only was he the only child of the Sword god, he was the sole male of the entire imperial bloodline and most being females, he was the only heir illegible to take the throne despite being a half-blood prince. Being the crown prince, he showed exceptional talent and even though he wasn't of pure bloodline, he welded the sword as great as his father did and became an A-rank just by the age of 20 so there weren't much complaints about him succeeding the throne.

The young men bit their tongue and bowed down to the prince. They were oblige to serve Austin Lucas and treated him as a prince but in front of an authentic prince, it was only normal to kneel down. The guards saw the prince and immediately bowed in respect.

"Your highness, this man is a criminal, we are gonna put him in jail for committing a grave crime of insulting one of the members of the Lucas family." The guard said to Kevin.

"Oh really? But I saw him with Austin but it didn't look like he had insulted him, plus these guys were the ones who attempted a fight, my friend here was just trying to defend himself." Kevin said to the guards as he pointed to the young men. The young men had no choice but agree since they knew it better to not offend a prince of an imperial family. Although there were no actual evidence, Kevin's words had to be treated correctly so those who had defended Kal began to speak up against the young men as everything was just self-defense.

"Now that everything has been cleared up, will you let go of my friend, or should I say, my teacher?" As soon as Kevin spoke those words, everyone was dumbfounded. The young men had their jaws fell on the floor and even Kal who simply listened was shocked.

'Just follow my lead.' Kevin used man transmission to talk to Kal and when Kal heard his words in his mind he grinned and spoke.

"You brat! Why didn't you call me sooner, I had no choice but to pick a yellow patch since I was in a hurry now I'm imprisoned because of your actions! You're such a failure as my student and I taught you better!" Kal was furious as he scolded the crown prince of one of the most powerful families in the world like he was just scolding his own child. Kevin had to endure the words as he forced a smile.

"I'm sorry teacher, I won't do it again." Kevin apologized to Kal but his veins had already bulged on his forehead.

"You better! You! Remove this handcuffs!" Kal exclaimed to the guard who was in shock at the sudden turn of events and immediately unlocked his hand cuffs and set him free. The young men immediately apologized to Kal as they had regretted their actions. Kal accepted the young men's apologies and gave them a warning to scare them away.

'Follow me.' Kevin said using mana transmission and they went to an area with a few people around

************

"Why did you help me?" Kal asked in a serious tone as he felt like this was just taking advantage of him.

"I saw what you did with those guys, you used your aura to push them in the ground and remove the air around them so they would suffocate." Kevin said to Kal. Kal was intrigued as what Kevin had said was the truth. Aura was a very hard power to control, it was different from mana since mana was absorbed from the outside source but is used internally. On the other hand, Aura was an enhance type of mana which is absorbed internally and is used externally and vice versa. One would need tremndous amount of mana to generate aura and to control aura was an entirely different level than just generating it. It would need tireless years of training just to control a bit of aura and being able to control aura meant that one could had better control of their mana so one would become sensitive and closer to mana.

"You're correct, I did use aura. But why did you said that I'm your teacher? You're older than me by 2 years and you're also of royal blood, I'm just a commoner." Kal said to Kevin in confusion. The chill mood of Kevin immediately died out as he showed an absolute surprise in his face.

"What!? You're only 19 years old and you're able to control aura that good!? You don't even come from a good background and here I thought you were some old man who had drink a rejuvenating potion to look younger." Kevin was truly shocked and couldn't believe Kal.

"Sigh, I'm not an old man and your right about me not having a good background. I seem to understood why you helped me, is it because you wanted me to teach you how to control aura?" Kal responded as he sighed.

"Yes, I want you to teach me how to control aura. If you teach me, I'll make sure to officially treat you as my teacher which means you'll have the benefits better than the members of the Lucas Family." Kevin patted his chest as he sounded both arrogant and proud. He wasn't wrong, the imperial family of Japan was in the top 5 of the most powerful families in the world and the Lucas family was just shy away from being in the top 10 even though they are one of the 5 great families of United Kingdom.

'Becoming a teacher of the crown prince of Japan would mean that I'd get a royal treatment, all I have to do is teach him how to control his aura but I'm not sure wether I am able to teach him. Let's check his status first [Instant Analysis ].' Kal hadn't tried out this feature of [Analysis] so this was the first time he had activated it. In his view, he could see that his eyes were glowing in sky blue light. This light then began scanning Kevin who looked confused as to why Kal was staring at him so deeply. After a few seconds of scanning, a window panel appeared.

'So this is how it works huh? He's level 31 which would put him on the level of an A-rank hunter and he's already advanced mastery in the sword and he's also great at other weapons. It's no wonder he's a renound genius, his Talented trait is S-grade and he also has other great traits that are also S-grades. My understanding on Kevin is still low but considering that it gave this much information, I don't know how long the information may be if I learn more are out him, it might even fill a chapter of a novel like that one good book with long chapters that doesn't get enough views (Yes, this is that book).' Kal sighed after reading the information regarding Kevin and when Kevin heard his sigh, he felt like he had disappoint Kal.

"It's okay if it won't work, I just want to at least try. I'll give you any price you want for just one session, you can ask for it now and even if you can't help, I won't retaliate your request." Kevin said to Kal as he tried to not let him down. Kal's eyebrows quivered as he almost forgot that he was talking to future king so he knew Kevin had an authority unlike anything.

"Okay then I'll try and help you, I only want is for you to give me red patch." Kal said to Kevin. Kal felt like he was asking for too much but he just wanted to test out if Kevin would be true to his words.

"That's easy! Then it's a deal!" Kal was surprised at Kevin's quick agreement.

'And here I was thinking that I was being unreasonable with my offer. This guy has enough riches to see a red patch as nothing more but change.'

***********

Kal was immediately given a red patch by one of Kevin's men. With this, Kal was given treatment unlike any other. He was able to got to any place he want, he could do anything he want, eat anything he want and he even had personal guards that did what he ordered. Kal went to Kevin's personal training room so they could start their session.

Kevin brought out his katana. The katana was placed in a jade scabbard which had intricate designs. Kal could tell that the Katana was very powerful just by looking at it and as soon as Kevin unsheathed his katana, a SHIIING noise echoed and showed the curved long blade. The blade itself was exuding with power but unlike the power that Kal had felt from other powerful items, this katana's power felt calm yet deadly.

"What a powerful sword you have." Kal complimented Kevin's katana.

"I know right? Although it's not an ego weapon, it's still an S-grade weapon given to me as an gift by my father. He said that this forged by the legendary blacksmith, Baki Oozaru who unfortunately passed away 5 years ago. The blade was made of the purest mana crystal and the teeth of a wind viper that's why it has a white marble look. My father use to weild this weapon and he said aid that it's full power could cut a mountain in half but he didn't use it since after he opened his fire element which went against the wind element of the katana. That's why he gave it to me since I still didn't have an element but if I did open and element, I hope it would be the wind element so I can be able to use its full power. " Kevin explained while he boast his sword to Kal who was admiring the weapon.

"I see...but before I teach you, why do you want to learn how to control aura?" Kal asked.

"It's because I wanted to form a sword aura. I didn't want to rely too much on weapons so I trained to be able to control aura. If I were to be put in In a situation were I had no weapon to rely, I could rely on myself and make my own sword using aura. I want to surpass my father who can only make control his aura to increase the power output of his weapon and be the first in the world to make a powerful sword using only aura." Kevin responded to Kal. When Kal heard his reason, he manage piqued his interest. What he wanted to make a weapon using an aura and to reach that level, he had to be at the very least in a meager level of Socram, who was a demon king.

'I just acquired this skill and I haven't actually tried using it to form a weapon. I'm not in Socram's level so making a sword might be difficult but not the least, let's try it out.' Kal used [Aura Manipulation] and turned his mana into aura. Blue light appeared in his hands and as the light began to grow brightly, the light went on to form a shape. He imagined the sword of what it might look like a and focused all his senses and power to the aura forming in his right hand.

Shaaaaaa. ...

Wind erupted around Kal and before he knew it, a katana was made in a form of aura. The katana looked solid and it was glowing in blue light. The power it released looked menacing and a single wave from it could probably slice even an adamantium bar in half.

Kal's mana was quickly depleting in milliseconds so he immediately cancelled the aura as his mana flow returned back to normal.

"No way! You can actually make an aura sword!?" Kevin was flabbergasted. His eyes almost fell out in their sockets and his mouth was in a shape of 'O'. He only thought that Kal's aura control was good enough to be able to use it as binding, he didn't knew that Kal was able to actually control it at such a high level. Even Kal was a bit surprised and although he was at the very least expecting it, the skill needed great understanding with mana so he thought it would take him time to control it better, he only realized that he was already master at controlling it that he could say that he was near Socram's level.

'This must all due to [Analysis], without it, I might not even be able to control my own mana in such an extent.' Kal said to himself.

"So you wanna learn it not?" Kal asked Kevin with a grin.

"Absolutely!"
