"How many are they? Isn't there at least a thousand of them?!" Kal said in shock as he scan his vicinity. The cemetery was very wide and there was at least a tombstone half a meter apart. The zombies and skeletons moved and began raising their weapons as soon as they saw Kal.
"Undead monsters have dull movements, their status is weak, and their only advantage is their numbers." Kal said. Seemingly in a sense of relief the zombies and skeletons suddenly jotted and attacked Kal like wild animals.
'I shouldn't have said that! But how the hell can these monsters be as fast as humans?!' Kal quickly push his spear to a zombie's chest, the spear easily penetrated their bodies due to its soft muscle tissues, and Kal needn't put much effort in his attack.
Grrr....
Even with Kal piercing it's heart the zombie continued to move and slash it's dull sword to his neck. Kal immediately duck his head to evade the attack and raise his spear upward breaking the ribs upto the collarbone and slicing right through the neck, lopping the head of the zombie in which it quickly vanish into ashes.
'I forgor💀, they won't die unless their heads are cut off or they disintegrate to smitherens. Oh! Speaking of disintegrate, I should try my new skill.' Immediately, Kal dash back by a few meters.
'[Slash].' Just as he activated the skill, an outline appeared in front of Kal that formed a wide fan shaped area. As Kal moved the point of his spear, so did the outline in his vision.
'So I can control the skills destination! This makes it a whole lot easier!' Kal activated his skill in a crowd of undead making sure to get as much targets in the area. His body automatically performed a horizontal slash that tore a group of zombies in half. The slash generated a flaming wave that traveled through the zombies and skeletons that were inside the fan-shaped area cutting their bodies apart and leaving a trail of flame that burned their rotten bodies and bones quickly to ashes.

The window panel popped up continously notifying Kal about his increasing points and objective. Kal didn't mind the window panel and focus on his fight. Kal made sure to lop off the heads of the zombies and pierce the cores of the skeletons killing them in a single shot.

Sounds of growls and bones echoed the entire cemetery as Kal killed them one by one and as he arrived at a nearby tombstone, Kal drilled the tombstone's hard cement.

The spear managed to penetrate the solid cement and broke the entire tombstone into rubble.

A weep of a banshee screeched along with the system notification after Kal broke the tombstone.
'Aaaahh! So loud! What the!?' The weep almost made Kal bled on his ear irritating him but quickly another window panel appeared in his view that caused him to panic.

'That startled me for a second. The fact that I have to endure such loud screech annoys me alot.' Kal infuriatingly said to himself. 15 seconds passed and Kal was able to activate [Strike] again killing dozens more undead in a single attack.
Kungkukukung. .
'Crap! The crossbows are back!' Kal cursed as soon as he heard the creaking noise of a rusty iron from a far. Kal immediately pushed himself through a crowd of undead and formed a small space for him to move.
Shiiing! Shiiing!
The giant crossbows fired the long arrows towards Kal and any undead that was on and near the traveling arrows were blasted to chunks of rotten meat or flung away by the momentum. Though it didn't add as a point or objective for Kal since he wss just diverting the arrows to the monsters, he was able to get a breather knowing that it lessened the numbers of the undead.
'If this works then I might just have a chance to finish this test with another S grade.' Kal grinned as sweat drip in his forehead. The arrows were about 20 meters away from him and it didn't take long for it to reach Kal yet Kal stood still and didn't dare to evade the incoming deadly giant arrows.
'[Wind Barrier]'
Shaaaa!!!
Wind following with fire erupted around Kal and expanded around him forming a flaming dome. It blasted away all the zombies and skeletons into burning flesh and bones. As the arrows clash and collided on the flaming dome, it exploded and shook the dome.
'Thank god it can handle the arrows.' Kal sighed in relief seeing that that the arrows wasn't able to penetrate the barrier. As it exploded into dozen smaller flaming arrows, the arrows where all flying like bullets to the crowding undead. The flaming arrows pierced their rotten bodies, burning them from inside out. Some arrows manage to pierce their heads that traveled through and struck some undead from behind it.

Countless window panel popped up from Kal's vision. Kal grinned in thought as he listened to the resonating system notification and as soon as the barrier disappeared, the numbers of undead sharply fell down by half. The undead that Kal killed in an instant quickly tallied upto 306 and the points he gained increased to 6822. Though the number was quite a lot, more of the undead rose up from the ground immediately filling up the missing number of slain monsters.
"Tch...they're not decreasing at all but it's fine since-"

'Nice timing.' Kal smiled seeing the window panels popping up. He handled the spear previously with the basic knowledge he had and used it at the best of his abilities without having any practical guide to using it. He just imagined using a dagger but with a longer reach so his techniques were both uncomfortable and not very suitable for him. Now that his mastery with the weapon quickly put his level to Expert, he was now adept in using the spear. Even without any actual techniques learnt, he felt very comfortable with the weapon that as he handled it with his delicate hands, the spear had become a part of his arm or has turned into a long yet deadly limb.
After the barrier disappeared what transpired to Kal's eyes were nothing more but a cluster of undead spiraling with dots and numbers around them.
"I had quite a hard time dealing with you guys but now, you're all nothing but training dummies to me." With a quick haste, Kal blasted on his feet like a rocket and charge himself to the undead monsters who were ready to gnaw with their teeth and fight with their weapons. Kal moved like a charging bull destroying all the enemies on his path with his own spearmanship.
He whirled his spear around as he sprinted mincing anything in his path and immediately killing numbers of the undead and breaking tombstones as he mived in each turn of his spear. The system notification resonated in his head nonstop but he maintained his focus, he hasten his speed and continued on his tread. The undead monsters couldn't keep up with his speed and was left in trail of muck. In less than a minute, Kal arrived at a giant rusty crossbow that was slowly reloading anothee arrow.
"Let's see how hard this thing is." Without wasting a single second, Kal weave and throttled his spear to the giant crossbow. It still had 15 seconds left on its reloading time and each second that passes, Kal had able to deal 10 hits to the crossbow. Though he only left shallow marks, he could see cracks slowly form in the structure of the crossbow but it could still take Kal quite a lot of time to completely destroy it.
'This won't do. How about this? [Strike]!' Kal directed the skill to the crossbow. A red flaming wave erupted from the edge of his spear. The wave crash to the giant crossbow in which the collision caused a fiery explosion that filled the entire area in thick smoke.
'Did it work?' Kal asked. As the smoke dissipated, Kal was thrilled to see that the cracks formed around the crossbow became bigger and an obvious hole appeared from its base.
"Haap!" With all his strength placed into his arms, he thrusted the spear with all his might breaking the already wide hole into a much deeper hole that widened the cracks in the crossbow. With the broken structure, the crossbow quickly collapsed on the ground and a notification appeared in his view.

"I have to destroy ten more of these? Arrgghh... this is so frustrating!" Kal groaned in annoyance. The crossbow disappeared right after it collapse and everything vanished only leaving a patch of dirt behind. Something quickly alerted Kal's instincts to point his spear on the patch of dirt. The ground soon bellowed and broke the dirt unearthing a stone tablet that had foreign words ingrained in it.
"A tombstone?" Kal inspect the tombstone and decided to break it incase it may cause a problem but as soon as his spear hit the tablet, a purple aura glowed around the tombstone causing Kal's spear to rebound away from impact. He was pushed back by a couple of meters which surprised and confused him.
"What the-" He was immediately cut off from his confusion when suddenly, a mist of fog creased on the ground that move peculiarly around the tablet. The mist soon became thicker and thicker that even Kal's eagle-like eyes couldn't see through the fog.
He focused his vision unto the fog and tried to pierce through it and soon saw two glowing blue crystals. This blue crystals were the size of a marble that glowed brightly. This made Kal curious to what it might be and he draw himself nearer to the fog.
"What is that?" Kal showed a questioned face as he slowly moved towards the crystals. Suddenly, in the center of the fog which was just right below the crystals, an orange light appeared and shun brightly. Though it looked like the light was expanding, Kal was quickly aback when he realized that the light was actually getting nearer from his direction.
He was alerted by the increasing heat as the light accelerated it's pace. Kal moved back and away from the fog and used his spear as a shield ready to defend what the light may be and as soon as the light escaped the fog, Kal quickly saw that the light was actually a fireball, one which was the same size as a basketball.
Kal didn't have time to evade so he decided to block the attack with his spear but as soon as the fireball made contact to him, it exploded blasting Kal away by a couple of meters and tumbled on the rocky ground.

Purple and red number indicator appeared right above his head. When he saw the purple number indicator, he realized that the attack that hit him was magical damage ( This sign '*' indicates magical damage).
"Magic damage? Don't tell me-" On what Kal might have been fearing in his mind quickly became a reality when a chilling and sinister voice echoed from the fog. The fog quickly disperse and showed a skeleton wearing a tattered, pitch black robe floating in the air. Unlike the other skeletons, this skeleton had horns and bared fangs on its skull, it also was equipped in rings and amulets.
"F@Ģg0+" As it spoke, fire was slowly being generated from its hands and whirled the flame that expanded into a ball. It had turned into a ball of flame. It blasted the fireball right at Kal in which Kal immediately rolled in the ground to evade the incoming attack and stood up.
Fwwwaaahh!
The fireball exploded on the ground forming a crater on the impact. Kal clicked his tongue and wielded his spear.
"This is my first time seeing a lich in person and you look exactly the same one from what I saw on the TV."
Kal was about to dash and punch his spear to the lich'es chest where the core was placed when he was halted by a whistling noise coming from a far.
Shiiing! Shiiing!
'Sh*t!' He averted his gaze at the noise. He rotated his neck to a 90° angle when he saw one giant arrow right under his nose. His reflex override causing his body to perform a quick spin.
He manage to evade the incoming spear with a breadth of a hair but before he could recuperate himself, another arrow flew right to him that drilled a hole in his left stomach.

"Bleeerghh!" Kal vomited blood as he stiffen from the intense pain in his stomach. As another spear flew towards him, even though he was debuffed, Kal pushed himself to block the giant arrow with his spear.
Pang! Bang!
As soon as his spear deflect the giant arrow, the giant arrow exploded to dozen arrows and each hit his body and some pierced the hole in his stomach.

"Arrgghh!!" Kal groaned for pain. He couldn't control his body anymore with all the arrows puncturing his body. He felt numb and felt sleepy yet the extreme pain kept him awake.
'I don't wanna die...I don't wanna die..' Kal kept repeating the same phrases over his head but he couldn't do anything. His body went pale and he peed all over his torso. His face was filled with fear, despair and agony and wished to end it with a swift blow. His eyes was bloodshot red due to the blood overflowing through his brain and tears poured out from his eyes. He couldn't even shut his eyes so atleast he could not see himself slowly die.
Shiiing! Shiiing!
The giant arrows each struck Kal's helpless body leaving a huge chunk of his meat and bones away that was brought along by the arrows. The only thing left of his body was some parts of his legs, spine and head that left him standing still but he was already numbed from the pain.
What pour down from his mouth was not blood but bubbles that he gurgle form his final breath.
"I don't wanna die..."This was the last words he had spoken as he died. He was already dead but his brain was able to work for a few seconds and soon, what his blurry eyes appeared to him was not a bright light that greeted him in heaven but a window panel.
