As soon as they enter, they were greeted by a sinister breeze. The hunters in front immediately raised their shields and readied their weapons. Dontrelle and Kal also did the same, Dontrelle raised his circular shield the size of a window frame and his sword. Kal stretch the string of his bow and aimed at the pit of darkness.
"I can see them!" Kal exclaimed staring at the darkness from afar. This was due to the heightened senses he gained from his innate talent so he had an eyes that could see from a kilometer away and he had a night vision that come to that.
"You see them from this distance? What type of monsters are lurking from the darkness?" The man asked Kal.
"They have a very short stature, they are covered in fur, they look like wolves but their standing on their feets and wear light armor and short swords, I can see some using bows, shields and spears." Kal said as he accurately describe the appearance of the monsters.
"From your description, I can tell that we're dealing with Kobolds." The man said. Kobold are a type of wolf that has increased intelligence. They resemble a man but they have shorter stature compared to an average human. They are similar to goblins except that they had animal instincts so they are stronger compared to goblins. They use human weapons that they stole from hunter carcasses and with their intelligence, they could utilize the weapons just like how humans would use it. Kobolds can be found in caves and they sometime hunt out in groups. They usually hunt smaller monsters and have bitter relationship with goblins so they sometimes start battles with them. Kobolds spawm mostly in E-rank sanctums and they rarely can be seen in D-rank sanctums.
"Everybody standby! They might be laying in ambush! My tea, will scout fir-" Before the man could finish talking, Kal fired arrows towards the darkness, every time he let go of the bow, two arrows would be shot. Kal fired exactly 6 arrows and every time an arrow landed, a short squeal of the dog would be heard rebranding in the cave.

'Nice! My experience points rose up by 19%!' Kal exclaimed in thought as he looked at his experience bar increasing, Dontrelle was in awe from what Kal had just did.
"Brother! Did you just use Composite Fire? How? You just read it for a few hours and you already learned how to do it?" Dontrelle exclaimed in disbelief. It was true that Kal had just read the martial skill for 2 hours but because of [Analysis] he instantly learned and mastered the martial skill.
"Haha, it was easy to learn because I have already mastered using the bow but I'm still learning, I still haven't master it." Kal tried to make an excuse to Dontrelle and Dontrelle understood his explanation and continued to praise Kal of his skill. On the other hand, the man was infuriated.
"Hey I told you to stand on guard! If you shoot them, we might the other Kobolds!" The man exclaimed to Kal.
"Don't worry! They were only scouts and I don't feel any presence from other Kobolds so I shot and killed them so we can avoid any ambushes." Kal tried to reassure the man but he didn't believe his words.
"Kill my ass! How can you shoot them from this distance when the darkness is blocking the view, we can't even see a single silhouette of a being from that far yet you say you shot and killed them? Pah! Don't act cocky just because you're being treated kindly by the young master!" The man spurt out in anger to Kal. The other hunters were also in the same opinion as the man and they felt the same disbelief to what Kal had just said but they weren't brave enough to speak it aloud.
"Shut up! I believe what Kal said and if you don't believe him, let's check out and see if the Kobolds have really been killed." Dontrelle said in a serious tone. The man quickly fell silent and so everyone agreed with Dontrelle to check it out if they were really killed. With the torches they brought to brighten the path they slowly walked towards the darkness where the arrows landed and as soon as they arrive they were in complete shock.
"H-how could this be?" The man muttered silently. Everyone was dumbfounded by the scene in front of them even Dontrelle. He had great trust and believed in Kal's words but he still had some doubts in his head but this doubt completely vanished. There were approximately 6 Kobolds laying on the ground dead and each had an arrow struck on their heads.
"See I told you! Kal killed them! Now do you believe him?" Dontrelle asked in a cold tone and the hunters quickly nodded their head in response. They were completely baffled at the scene and now looked at Kal in a different light. They saw him as a monster in human clothing.
"I-im sorry for doubting you." The man apologized to Kal. He himself now had a different opinion to Kal, he had though he was some spoiled brat who is unworthy to be in the side of a genius like Dontrelle but now, he was looking at Kal as a rising star ready to shake the entire world.
"It's fine, I'm just glad that your doubts about me have disappeared." Kal responded and smiled.

With Kal's marksmanship, there where no hassles to be found in their journey to the deeper parts of the cave, the Kobolds who were waiting for ambush was shot and killed in an instant which increased his experience points by 52%. The gathering team would start digging the corpses of the Kobolds for their monster cores (I changed it from mana stones to monster cores). The team also mined for the mana crystals they found and as soon as they arrive at the center of the dungeon, they were surprise to find all the Kobolds gathering around for a feast. The group of hunters watch their feast with a grim look on their face, some hunters couldn't even hold their disgust and vomit on the ground, even Kal and Dontrelle were disgusted at what they saw.
"That must be the three hunters who entered the dungeon without any permission from the higher ups. We were too late to save them." The man said as he tried to hide the ill look on his face. Before the news got to the shelter that a dungeon had appeared, there was a group of E-rank hunters who were reckless enough to dive in the dungeon without knowing the level of difficulty. It was safe to say that they didn't make it and as a result, they became food for the Kobolds. They saw the two male hunters being grilled in a rotisserie, they had their limbs chopped off and diced to be cooked while the other female hunter was being used sexually as a play toy by the chief of the Kobolds who passed around the now-dead female to the other Kobolds who continued to sexually assault her corpse.
"She must have died due to the mental shock or she couldn't handle the sexual abuse of the chief Kobold (She couldn't handle the D)." A hunter said. They all shared the same thought but Kal felt indiffernet. He watched the gruesome scene unfold in his eyes and when he saw the female being sexually abused, it reminded him of the past where his female friend from high school was sexually assaulted by the bullies and committed suicide. The worse part about it was that her death was unjustified and the bullies were and be to roam free even to this day. He wanted to take revenge but he did not have the power to do it and now that he watch the same scene, rage filled his mind.
"Those bastads!" Kal exclaimed in anger. He rapidly fired arrows to the gathering Kobolds and went down the hill to meet the Kobolds. Immediately the Kobolds were alarmed by the sudden attack so they quickly grab their weapons and search for their attacker.
"Kal goddammit! Everyone let's go!" The man quickly called out to the group when he saw that Kal started shooting arrows toward the Kobolds. Dontrelle didn't stop Kal but followed him from behind.
"This time, I'll be the aggro!" Dontrelle went forward to Kal and started bashing his shield with his sword that caused the Kobolds to avert their target to Dontrelle. This was a martial skill Dante learned called "Taunt" that would make all the opponents in the skill range to change their targets to the aggro'er.
"Thanks." Kal said as he watch most of the Kobolds charging at him move to Dontrelle, he began firing at the distance and those who went near Kal would have their heads bashed by his bow. There were about 30 Kobolds in the area and majority of them were shot in the head and killed before they could even attack. Dontrelle displayed fine swordsmanship and blocked every attack using his shield while countering them with his sword strikes. Each wave of his sword would cut off the limbs of the Kobolds that would left them squealing on the ground and end it with a pierce from the tip of his blade.

"Amazing!" The man and his group couldn't help but be in awe. Before they could arrive and help Kal and Dontrelle, they had manage to kill every Kobold. They just stood their but be in shock as they watch the two display amazing techniques, the Kobolds' attack didn't even manage to deal a damage to them and only left them with a sweat in their heads.
"Now, we're left with the chief Kobold. Kal said to Dontrelle as he watch the chief Kobold drawing nearer to them.
"Be careful, boss monsters are unlike this small fries, they are ten times stronger than normal monsters." Dontrelle aid as he tried to remind Kal.
"Yeah." Kal aimed an arrow to the chief Kobold. The Kobold was 8 foot tall and a bulky muscles resembling a hunk man. His body had scratch marks in it and it's blue fur had been splashed with blood that may have came from the hunters it killed. It was wearing broken plate armor from the corpse of on of the hunters and it also wore it's torso. In its hand is a giant axe as big as a man and it had an expression of deep anger as it stare at the two.

'I can see boss monster's status? This is new and this one seems to be of D-rank. Crap this might be harder than I thought.' Kal clicked his tongue and observed the Kobold champion with keen eyes. He wanted to discern as fast as possible so he could find any weaknesses it might have but the level gap made it difficult.
Growl!
The Kobold champion roared out loud that echoed throughout the wide cave. The loud roar caused everyone to halt their movements and some even fell to the ground.

'I can move freely but I don't think the other ones can.' Kal said to himself as he looked at the other hunters. The hunters on the back where in a safe position but they were still affected by the fear effect. Dontrelle was able to move as much since he had been disciplined mentally but there were still some effects that inflicted him.
"Dontrelle can you fight?" Kal asked Dontrelle.
"Yeah, but not to the extent, I'd have to let you take care of the attacks as I try and absorb as much damage from the boss mosnter until our team can move again." Dontrelle said as he raise his shield and sword to the Kobold champion.
"Okay!" Kal replied. The Kobold champion quickly moved at an alarming speed and strike it's axe to Dontrelle which Dontrelle blocked with his shield.
Pang!
Dontrelle was pushed back by a couple of meters away but he was still able to stand in his feet after receiving such heavy blow. His shield was left with a shallow mark.
"My shield can only block three more strikes before it's destroyed so try and deal as much damage as you can!" Dontrelle called out to Kal and raised his shield once again.
Howl!
The Kobold champion howled and dash to assault Dontrelle once again but Kal fired dozens of arrows to it but it wasn't able to pierce it's thick hide so Kal didn't have a choice but use his own arrow.
'Sh*t I don't have a choice! It's do or die now!' Kal placed his hand on the empty quiver. He opened his spatial inventory and grabbed out the Hawk Spring Arrow that he wasn't able to use last time. As he reload his bow with the new arrow, he fired it towards it's limb.
Kiyaah!
When the arrow was fired, it made a sharp whistle of a bird that moved to the air like a bullet. The arrow pierce right through the right leg of the Kobold champion causing it to fall out of balance and shriek in pain.

A red damage indicator appeared above the Kobold champion showing the damage Kal dealt to it. The Kobold champion then tried to remove the arrow from its leg but the arrow suddenly vanished confusing it. Those who saw the arrow disappearing where also confused to how it disappeared only to find out that it returned to Kal's hands.
