I'm going to have to take a taxi if I wanna make it in time for my meeting with him, all the way on the other side of the town, in Brooklyn.
After walking a few blocks I finally saw a few available rides and I quickly hailed one of the taxies from right outside a new café building that I really like. As soon as I got in I politely greeted the driver because I feel it rude to just bark an address right away after getting into someone's car. I realize that it is their job and we are paying them for the rides we take but it still can not be denied that they are helping us making our lives whole lot easier.
After the driver's initial surprise at hearing something other than an order, he also greeted me back politely and asked where I wanted to go. I told the driver the address for his house.
