Alex was currently lying down in bed. He had already finished reporting and taking his bounty. He was currently in a hotel just leisurely browsing the internet in Oa.
'It's been a month since I started playing Bounty Hunter here. I have accumulated enough technology to manufacture it myself'. Alex thought while looking at the holographic projection coming out from his wrist.
'Guess it's time to contact Hal Jordan or John Stewart. It's either of the two. John should be patrolling the sector while Hal is chilling on earth. So I guess he is it'. Alex thought carefully and prepared to get up from the bed.
It has been two months since he left earth and has been going around collecting tech and other things.
He has also upgraded his strength by a lot while the fighting. His strength is at 15 megatons and with Gold Experience, there is nothing that can stop him.
'The time gap between different parts of the Universe is the real bitch that's gonna sting me after I go back'. He thought while getting up.
'Only The Presence, The Forces and the Actual Gods of DC pose a real threat to me. I could've killed Darkseid but I can't do it yet. He is the actual God of Death, just keep on delaying and send him back. This is the best option'. Alex thought while moving out of his hotel suite.
'And then there is Trigon, Lucifer and Lobo. These three are also are also powerful but there is also difference of power between them. Just as Darkseid and others'. He had a lot of thoughts in his mind but there was nothing to stop him at the current moment.
'DC is one hell of a place. Lanterns, Forces, Gods, The three O beings, Oans, kryptonians and other trinkets that can give you the same amount of power as them. This thing just never ends'. He thought to himself frustratedly as he came in front of the Administrative office.
It was a typical judicial building, just a bit more Sci-Fi in nature. There was a big Lantern on top like a sign board.
Alex pushed past the doors as he saw a big counter in front of him with a girl that had a pig like face, hands and feet.
"I want to contact a Lantern from my Sector". Alex didn't wait for her to greet him and just stated his business.
"Can I know why?" She asked politely as a snort left her nose. It was probably out of Habit.
"I am kind of stranded very far from home and he is a friend. So I thought that he could help me back". Alex scratched his cheek as he said.
"Please tell me the name and sector of the guardian for verification before we can contact them". The girl asked as she looked at him.
"Sector 2814, Hal Jordan. Just tell him that The Reaper wants to contact him". Alex said while smiling back.
"Very well, please wait a second". The girl nodded as she started the terminal in front of her.
"Hello".
"Yes, we are from Oa. A friend of yours would like to speak to you".
"He says it's The Reaper".
"There you go sir, he would like to speak to you". The girl put the call access on Alex's watch through the terminal.
"Thank you". Alex greeted as he distanced himself from her.
"Yo". Alex greeted with a smile as he saw Hal's projection on his terminal.
"Hey, are you Alexander Wayne?" Hal had a surprised expression on his face when he asked.
"In the flesh". Alex pointed to himself with both hands.
"Man you've been missing for two years". Hal said with a smile like he was talking to an old friend.
"Oh shit, I've been stranded here. I barely got to a planet and they helped me get to Oa. Give me the coordinates of Earth. I will be back soon". Alex exclaimed when heard Hal's words.
"And don't tell anyone about this. It's a surprise, just prepare them at a place together, I won't be long". Alex warned as he saw the coordinates flashing on his Terminal.
'If you say that you are stranded then you have to look the part'. Alex thought to himself.
'But I never expected that just two months here would take so long on Earth'. With a final shake of his head. Alex went out of the administration building.
'Time to return'. He turned into a streak of light and disappeared from Oa.
——Meanwhile on Earth——
"Green Lantern to Justice League. All Leaguers come to the watch tower! It's an Emergency! I repeat, It's an emergency!" Green Lantern thought of something and immediately made the the whole thing an emergency.
Soon, Portals started to open in Watch Tower as all the Leaguers started to appear one by one.
"Green Lantern, it better be something good or you will get it. I was fighting Cheetah". Wonder Woman said as she cracked her knuckles while squinting at him.
"I will do it with you. I rarely get to meet Pamela and Selena without fighting against them". Batgirl said as she stood beside Wonder Woman.
"Yeah, count your days". Mera also appeared as she stood up with the other two.
Hal swept the sweat on his forehead when he heard their warnings. He was sure that Alex was coming or he would never do this in a million years.
"What's the emergency?" Zatanna asked as she zapped into the WatchTower.
Soon, Batman, Superman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Aquaman and Hawkgirl appeared as they looked at Hal questioningly.
"I had to finish my Burgers really fast for this. So you better make it quick". Flash said while taking a chair in the conference room.
"I got a signal from Oa that a powerful being is coming to Sector 2814". Hal said while looking at everyone seriously.
"Who's this being?" Batman asked as he squinted his eyes.
"The only thing I got from them that he is very powerful with Physical power probably as strong as Superman and invulnerability as well as Flight". Hal laid down the facts.
"We will need more intel than that but we will do as always. Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman will take the front while we will support and Martial Manhunter will stay on WatchTower". Batman said as he quickly got up to prepare countermeasures.
