Di Xueyan barely crawl out of her last position when the hateful spirit ball made a dent there. She breath shakily while cursing her life as she lay in the ground in a wretched state.
Her once exquisite face is now badly bruised with suspicious bumps all around and her once complete dress is now barely clinging onto her body.
It has been seven days after her emotional breakdown and the supposed thing she has to pass through, but she felt like she can't live any longer anymore!

With the thought, Di Xueyan shakily hoisted her battered body up as the damned thing is rushing to her. She narrowee her eyes as she observes how its speed seems to go slower than it was before. She doesn't know if it is merely not as powerful as before or if her perception became even powerful.
She instantly evaded the spiritual force again and landed fifty meters away. The once not so big place she was in before became unsually huge the moment she started sparring with the ball of spirit qi, so her movements are not restricted at all.
She has been eyeing the annoying thing that is rushing towards her again right now when she suddenly saw something that makes her eyes lighten, which ascertain her gut feeling more. She believe that everything has its achilles heel, and she is glad that she found the downfall of the annoying thing!
She gather her battered pitiful self up and made a hundred hand gesture within a minute. Her movements are very graceful that it could have been a very good scenery, if not only because of her barely describable face, bloodied and bruised body and torn and tattered clothes which almost exposed her private parts.
Instead of evading it, Di Xueyan enthusiastically attack it head on as purple and green spirit qi encircles her hands. The moment they collided, a blinding mixture of lights burst from the collision. Debris are falling everywhere and a huge earthquake cracks the ground into multiple pieces, but strangely not enough to break it. The place is instantly filled with dirt and smoke scattering all over. The underground of the Night Forest is shaken to its core, but no movement can be seen in the surface.
After the attack, Di Xueyan seems to lose all her energy as she instantly collapse in the ground, but a large grin spurted from her dirtied wretched face. Whoever knew her, even her mother, would not easily recognize her wretched face.
Uncaring of all the debris that came falling down, she closes her eyes as she savors her success. Though she can't even move her body, her consciousness is still awake.
The trembling and smoke instantly dissipated when the woman enters the wretched place again.
" Congratulations! You successfully managed to pass the first test", the woman said gently but Di Xueyan's grin instantly fell from her face, her expression turns ugly.
' First... This is just the first! I almost die with the first test! Damnit!', Di Xueyan doesn't know whether she should rejoice that she is still alive or cry because this is still the first.
Seeing her expression, the woman can't resist a smile.
Di Xueyan wants to say something but can't even find her voice. Not only is her body barely movable but even her throat is parch to the extreme. Having no water and food for seven days is a torture for a foodie like her evwn if she is a cultivator.
She can't even move her neck to atleast talk decently with the mysterious woman that she doesn't know up until now!
" No need to talk. You just have to know that the next test will be conducted for a full three months and you have to succeed. Otherwise, never bother trying to remove that little thing between your forehead", the woman eye the little crown between her forehead that, despite the owners wretched face, stayed regal and unsullied with dirt and bruise.
Di Xueyan wants to lament. She barely even stayed alive for just seven days, but know she has to face a three month long agony!
But remembering her purpose, she steeled her heart and wholeheartedly accepted the challenge.
" We will begin after your rest. As of now, sleep child", the woman arrives at her side. Di Xueyan can finally see her exquisite and devastatingly beautiful face that even a goddess will envy before drifting in the dreamland.
