Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

As the orientation came to an end, everyone started leaving the room. Gideon and Agatha was about to leave the room until Emma went up to Gideon and wrapped her arm around his shoulders, "Giddy, where are you going later? Let's go to a cafe~" she said smiling. "Oh I didn't plan on going anywhere..." Gideon said as he looked at Agatha, "How about you?" Gideon asked.

"I was thinking about going back home. I was about to call my dad to pick me up." Agatha answered as she took out her phone, "I'm going to get my dad to pick me up." she said as she dialed William's number and held her phone to her ear while Gideon stood there.

'DAD! WHY AREN'T YOU PICKING UP YOUR PHONE!?' she thought as she lowered her phone, slowly.

'Is Dad busy? He doesn't have work today does he? I saw him this morning before I left, did something happened to him or something?' she thought as she started biting her nails.

Gideon tilted his head "You okay there, Aggie?" Gideon asked. Agatha looked up at Gideon "Y-Yep, just dandy... Just need to call my friend real quick...You two have fun and be safe on your way home." she said as she went and scrolled through her phone then held the phone to her ear, she turned towards.

"Hello, McKay residence." said Giovanna.

"Hey Vanna, I'm glad you picked up, it's Agatha. Listen, I tried to call my dad to pick me up from the orientation place and he's not picking up. Are your parents busy right now?" Agatha asked.

I'll ask my dad if he could pick you up, stay on the line okay?" said Giovanna as her set down her phone.

As Agatha wait patiently for Giovanna to return, Emma started pulling Gideon "Giddy~ Come on, we should go to the cafe. There's this new pastry and I really want us to try it before their sold out~" she whined, Gideon looked at Emma "I'll be with you in a second, but right now I want to make sure she has someone to take her home safe." he said while Emma stood there.

"Hello? Aggie you still there?" Giovanna asked.

"Yes, I'm still here." Agatha answered.

"Oh good. I told my dad everything and he's on his way to pick you up. I'll swing by your house to see if your dad is home or not." Giovanna explained.

"Thank you, Vanna. You're a lifesaver~ I'm at Orientation Corporation, I'll be here waiting at the entrance." Agatha said with a smile as she hung up.

"Well?" asked Gideon.

Agatha screamed and gripped her phone from dropping to the ground, she then turned around and looked at Gideon "I thought you left already?" she said as she held her phone close. "I had to make sure you had someone to take you home, so I stayed." Gideon explained with a smile.

"Wh-Why would you stay here and watch over me? I told you to go have fun, you didn't need to stay..." said Agatha, "A-Anyway, my friend's dad is going to pick me up so there's no need to worry, I can stay here and wait without being watched. Thank you for your concern but I don't want to keep you from your fun." she said as she went and sat on the entrance steps.

"But-" said Gideon before his body was pulled, "Let's go, Giddy. She said she'll be fine, come on come on!" Emma as she pulled Gideon along.

"Okay, Okay. Hang on a minute." said Gideon as he walked along with Emma.

"No time!" shouted Emma.

"See ya around, Aggie!" shouted Gideon before they disappeared from the corner.

Agatha sighed as she buried her face on her knees, 'Finally... peace and quiet...' she thought as she looked up at the road while watching cars drove by.

After ten minutes, Eduardo stopped in front of the building, he leaned over to the window and saw Agatha sitting on the steps "Agatha! Over here!" he shouted. Agatha looked up and stood up while walking towards the car as she got inside the car, "I'm sorry for taking up your time just to pick me up." she said as she put on her seatbelt.

"It's alright, Agatha. I had nothing else to do anyway. It feels good to get out of the house once in a while." Eduardo said as he drove Agatha home.

While Eduardo was driving, Agatha stared blankly out the window, Eduardo glanced over at Agatha before looking straight ahead "So... Did they orientation go well?" he asked. "It was okay... I met another student from high school." Agatha answered, "Really? That's cool. Will this student show you around school when you get there?" he asked, "He kind of works with me at camp. I'll be going to open house after working anyway, so I wouldn't have to ask him anything." she asked as she played with her fingers.

"Ah the student is a he. Did you two talk at all? He sounds like a nice guy." said Eduardo as he took a turn, "He... wanted to wait until you picked me up, but I had to turn it down because his childhood friend wanted to hangout with him." Agatha said as she slightly smiled.

"That's so considerate of you, Agatha. But next time something like this happen, don't be afraid to have someone escort you home." Eduardo said as he parked the car in front of Agatha's house, "We're here." he said as he took a peek at the door.

He saw Giovanna standing at the door.

"Giovanna? What are you doing here?" Eduardo asked as Giovanna walked up to the car, "Well I was about to call you to pick me up but I figured to wait for you to get here. The house is completely empty..." she said as she entered the car.

"You gotta be kidding me." Eduardo said as he looked at Agatha, "Do you have the key to the house, Agatha?" he asked.

"No sir." said Agatha.

Eduardo took a deep breath before letting out air with a sigh, "Well Agatha, You'll be staying with us until your parents gets home. I'll try to get in contact with your father. If nothing come up, you can spend the night at our house." Eduardo said as he started to drive to his house.

"O...kay. Sorry..." Agatha said apologetically.

"Don't be sorry, this is going to be like back in elementary school. I think I have an extra pajama for you to wear, I can wash your clothes for you if you want." said Giovanna.

"Nonononono, I can wash them myself. Th-Thanks anyway." said Agatha as she looked down at her bag. Eduardo chuckled "Okay, you two. We're home." he said as he parked in the driveway.

Agatha and Giovanna got out of the car, it was then Giovanna held Agatha's hand and pulled her along in the house. "Come on, Agatha. Let's go play Duper Maria Sis Peak!" said Giovanna as she smiled. "W-Wait, slow down!" shouted Agatha as she was pulled inside the house.

"Mom! Agatha's here for a little bit until dad get in touch with Mr. Gray." Giovanna explained as she pulled Agatha upstairs.

Doris peeked from the kitchen "Okay I'll set up a fourth plate. You two have fun~ Welcome to our home Agatha~" she said happily.

"Thanks Mrs. Mckay!" shouted Agatha as she was pulled in Giovanna's room.

As the orientation came to an end, everyone started leaving the room. Gideon and Agatha was about to leave the room until Emma went up to Gideon and wrapped her arm around his shoulders, "Giddy, where are you going later? Let's go to a cafe~" she said smiling.
