Agatha's POV
After drying up and changing into new clothes, I heard the rest of the girls entering the cabin.
"It was fun while it lasted." Said Cindy.
"Ooo, maybe tomorrow we can do something else." Said Tabitha.
"I'm sure tomorrow's activities will be less workout and more play." Said Penny.
"I wonder if I can just stay indoors tomorrow." Said Jenny.
"Come on JenJen, there's more in life than just video games." Said Emma.
"Don't call me 'JenJen', you don't even come close to the confidant rank to call me any nicknames..." Said Jenny.
I laughed to myself listening to the conversation, '"Confidant rank"? She must've played that Facade 5 game I heard so much about. I wonder what it's like playing that game...' I thought as I walked out of my room.
"Welcome back, everyone." I said with a smile.
"Wait Agatha, you were here the whole time?" Asked Penny.
"Lucky..." commented Jenny.
"No no, I just got here. I had to change my clothes because I got bombarded by the swim club over there." I explained.
"Oh, that's right. I knew I heard screaming near the lake, I thought it was the kids." Said Penny,
"But still, lucky..." Said Jenny with a pout.
"If I need to go inside for anything, you can go with me if you want Jenny." I said, Jenny looked at me with a grin and said "You just boosted your confidant rank to four."
"Hey..." whined Emma, "How come she gets a rank higher than me?" She asked.
"So far Agatha hasn't annoyed me the whole time, so she gets a four rank confidant while you're in rank one." Jenny explained as she walked past me, "I'm going to my room. Wake me up when it's dinner time." Jenny yawned while going into her room.
"Wow rank four, That's a huge honor in my sister's book. I can only rank two for sister brownie points." Said Penny while walking down the hall, "I think my room is next to hers? Yep, this is me. See you guys at dinner~" She said as she walked in her room.
We heard the door open and a cheerful voice entered the cabin.
"Hello girls~ I'm here with a special announcement regarding your night time routine. The girls showers are right next to the cabin and you'll be sharing the showers, dinner gets prepared at five-thirty so be at the mess hall by six o' clock. If you gals want to help out with dinner, just stop by and tell us. Oh and if you are experiencing Aunt Flo's visit, please let me or Nancy know so we can pull you out of activities and let you rest until your finish. Do I need to repeat myself or do you gals understand?" said Grace.
"We got the memo, Gracie~" said Emma.
"Um... I'll pass on the memo to the twins." I said.
"I didn't even notice those two aren't here! That'll be a great help, Agatha." said Grace.
Tabitha tugged on Grace's shirt, Grace looked down at Tabitha.
"Yes, Tabitha?" said Grace.
"Who's Aunt Flo?" asked Tabitha.
"Uhhhhhhhh..... Oh look at the time! It's almost five o' clock, I have to get going and prepare dinner! You ladies got this covered, right? Right! SEE YOU AT MESS HALL!" Grace said, running out of the cabin.
'Didn't she just say that dinner gets prepared at five thirty?' I thought as I looked at the time, 'And it's only four twenty-three.' I thought before hearing Tabitha asking "Who's Aunt Flo? Is she going to visit all of us?"
'How the heck am I going to explain this?!' I thought before stammering, "Um...Well..." I said.
"That's something you shouldn't worry about. You have a few years before seeing her. How about we start heading to the game room? We can play games before dinner, won't that be fun?" said Emma, the girls cheered and ran out of the cabin. I heaved a sigh "Thanks, I thought I had to explain periods to a ten year old." I said, "Whatever, Freak-atha." Emma said, walking out of the cabin, slamming the door.
'Did she just call me 'Freak-atha'? P-Probably just my imagination, not even a clever name.' I thought as I went to Penny's door, "Penny, Grace just announced the night time routine." I said as I knocked on the door. "Oh, can you tell me about it later? I'm busy at the moment." she said, "How about I tell your sister so she can pass it on to you?" I said.
Penny immediately opened the door, "Yes, that'll be great if you did!" she said excitedly.
"O...kay. But if you have nothing to do right now, Grace said you can help out with dinner preparation." I said. "I have to prepare for my nightly workout. You can't wait to hear the night routine." Penny said with a smile before closing the door.
"Well okay then..." I said before going to Jenny's room and knocked on the door, "Jenny, can I come in?" I asked.
"You may enter, Agatha." she said, I opened the door and walked inside.
"Hey, Jenny, can you pass on a message to your sister?" I asked.
"Sure, what's up?" Jenny said as she took out a notepad and pencil, "Well, Grace stopped by and told us about our night routine. Showers are right next to the cabin, dinner gets prepared at five-thirty so we have to be at the mess hall by six o' clock. And if we're going on our cycle, we let Grace or Nancy know so they can give us the day off until it's over." I explained as Jenny wrote everything down.
"So, what I'm hearing is: showers are nearby, be at the mess hall by six and we get a day off if we're on our period. Is that right?" Jenny said.
"Y-Yeah, that's right." I said, "I'll let Penny know, what time is it?" Jenny asked.
"Um..." I looked at the time, "Four twenty-nine, why?" I said.
"I didn't want to lose track of time before dinner. I'm nearly done with Facade 5, I'm on the third boss." she said, "I knew you played that game, I've heard about it and I've watched a playthrough on TubeZoom." I said while Jenny gasped.
"You're interested in the game too?" Jenny asked, I nodded "I hope to play it in the future." I said with a smile.
"Well, when summer camp is over, do you want to sleep over at our house? I can show you the games I have and teach you how to play them." Jenny said, enthusiastically. "That sounds... great. Well, I'm gonna go help out with dinner." I said, going to the door, "Oh, if you're going to be helping, who's going to tell me about the time." Jenny said with a pout.
"Well, everyone's at the game hall so... You can ask your sister to do it? She's doing her workout right now." I suggested, Jenny groaned "As much I hate to do it because she's in rank two... I guess... I'll bump her up to rank three for favors and shit. Have fun in the kitchen." Jenny said.
"Will do." I said, opening the door, "Oh and Agatha. You're in rank five just because you have good taste in video games." she said.
"That sounds awesome, well... see you at dinner." I said, leaving the room.
'Okay, now that's out of the way. Time to visit the mess hall.' I thought about leaving the cabin and headed to the mess hall.
"Hello? Anyone here?" I asked.
"In the kitchen, just come in." said a familiar voice.
I walked inside and went through the kitchen door to see Grace, Nancy and Gideon wearing aprons.
"Woah, this kitchen looks nice and tidy." I commented.
"Are you here to help us cook, Agatha?" Nancy asked.
"I thought it would be a good learning opportunity to learn how to cook. What are we going to cook today? I mean, didn't everyone eat burgers and hotdogs at the barbeque?" I asked.
"You'd think that but we're making something light for dinner tonight, DIY tacos!" Grace said, cheerfully.
"DIY... tacos?" I said, "Everyone will be making their own dinner tonight." said Gideon.
