Levy Played Friday Night Funk on his phone while occasionally looking over at the chat box on Roblox. He wasn't all that sociable in person but somehow he found it easier to connect with the strangers he met online.
[Dipp-dog: did you hear about the body they found?
[Glass Cannon: who watches the news?
[Dipp-Dog: no I saw it in my feed, They pixeled the phtos but you can still see it]
Levy didn't like being out of the loop so he began to search about it. A woman age 27 was found dead this morning; Her name was Anna Roes. Her death was agreed to be the large stab wound through the heart, but evidence showed she may have been a young vampyre convertee and even involved with a werewolf gang. Some pictures were filtered while others were shown as is. Levy felt suddenly uncomfortable and immediately clicked out of it. What was so cool about a dead body? Sometimes he couldn't understand his friends.
He decided then to remain unresponsive and continue his game. Just as he was about to win he noticed another message from his friends.
[Dipp-Dog: aye Frown Crown why you no answer¯\_( ͡❛ ⏥ ͡❛)_/¯ ??
[Glass Cannon: He is always like that.
[Dipp-Dog: taaaalllkkkkk!!
[Glass Cannon: Just leave him alone lol. Come play Minecraft with me instead.
[Dipp-Dog: meh whatever. let's caht there then.(ㆆ_ㆆ)]
Levy felt somehow left out at their sudden departure and didn't dare to ask if he could join them. He wanted to talk but he had nothing to add to the conversation. Why was it so hard for him to get along with people? The thought that he would be alone forever crossed his mind and he suddenly got chills.
"Levy I'm home." Levy heard his mom coming through the door and he got up to greet her. He took one last glance at the chat box before logging out and heading into the kitchen to help his mom prepare dinner. His step dad would be home soon and the idea put a bigger damper on his mood than his friends leaving did.
"Welcome home ma." The sweet look he got from his mother's green eyes and lovely smile warmed his heart. Well it wasn't such a bad day; or so he thought until he heard the front door open again. In stepped his step-dad with a bottle in hand. His step dad was a big man. He was tall, brawny and in no way looked like a pushover. Levy admitted that he would have adored him if he didn't have just one problem; and that was his drinking habit. When he was sober he was a really fun guyto be around; but once he started drinking he was terrifying. Luckily he didn't appear to have taken anything yet.
"You're home first this time.'' The happiness and surprise on Andrew's face felt like a lie every time Levy saw it. He didn't dare trust that face so easily anymore. He knew his step dad was always just a few sips away from being a terrible man again.
Somewhere in the woods between White Pond Bay and Bushy Lake North Carolina..
The tears that flooded out of his eyes refused to stop. He thought to himself; how long would he continue to hide like this? He was supposed to be strong even in the face of disaster, be fearless even when his heart was being ripped out; like his father and grandfather before him. But right now; he couldn't bring himself to be strong. He wanted to kill them. Those slayer bastards, The vampyre that changed her, The people who put his Rose on tv, Everyone in the comments that degraded her name. She is dead; but she was all he had, and now she is gone. And they just heartlessly slandered her over and over.; saying she deserved it as if it were her fault. Before he could tear her away from that slayers grasp she was dead and it was all his fault. He should have known something was wrong when he couldn't contact her that nigt. His past ignorance caused his anger to flare up again. What the hell was he supposed to do now? To him without her his life wasn't worth living. Sure he could go back, Lead his pack like a good alpha but more than anything he just wanted to rage; too rage and revenge. He Looked up for a moment as a thought came to him. Why doesn't he do just that?
"Anna I'll do it for you."
He picked himself up and shifted forms. He'd do it, he'd get revenge. the Vampyre that changed her and the slayer that killed her. He howled to signal his location to his pack. He would make them suffer loss just as he suffered; and kill them off one by one.
