Chapter 26 - Drew Saturday #2

The upper atmosphere,

"Saturday, I'm almost to the coordinates of the intercept point. What's the progress of the suits?" Drew asked as she looked at the screen.

"The Mk9 is operational. Running weapons diagnostic now." Saturday replied.

"Okay, let me know when you're finished."

"Drew! Drew! Drew, dear, are you okay?" Her mother asked, worriedly.

 "Of Cour…

 "Incoming call, Mandi," Saturday said.

Drew sighed. "I swear. She's so persistent." She thought, answering the phone. "Mandi, I swear. If you're calling to tell me about your date with Jason, we wi…

"I'm not calling about that. So calm down." Mandi replied.

"Then, why are you calling me?" Drew said, confused.

"Well, I was hoping you would tutor me and Jason." Mandi said.

"Tutoring? Really? That doesn't sound like you."

"Well, what can I say? I really need your help." Mandi said, smiling maliciously.

"Fine, tomorr… Drew was suddenly attacked. "Crap… Talk to you later." Drew said before hanging up Mandi's call.

Quickly, Drew began evasive maneuvers to avoid being shot at. Unfortunately, the alien armada released small fighters to keep up and attack Drew. "Aw man," Drew thought as she pressed a button, activating her afterburners and increasing her speed. However, the fighters were able to keep up, eventually destroying the RCar's shielding. And with it gone, her main protection against the G-force and high altitude went with it, making it extremely difficult for her to breathe and focus. "Have to eject." Drew thought as she stood up on the seat of the RCar. "Saturday, I hope you're ready." She thought as she closed her eyes and jumped, sending the RCar out of control into a fighter.

Freefalling, she only thought of one thing, "please work", repeatedly. Out of the fountain in the park, a pod shot out as fast as it could. Seconds later, the pod disassembles and forms around Drew, creating an armor. "Yes," she thinks as her helmet forms. Flying after the other fighter, Drew notices how strict and rigid it flew. As she catches up to it, Drew punches and rips a hole in the fighter, revealing an empty cockpit and bomb. "Seriously?" she thought.

 "BOOOOMMM!" an explosion goes off.

Drew, unscathed, shook her head. "They blew up their own ship. For what purpose?" she thought, floating in place.

"Maybe to get rid of you. You are the only thing in their way of world domination." A teenage girl said, floating in front of Drew.

 "What? How? Are you inva…

"Before you make any ridiculous assumptions. No, I'm not invading the planet. My friends and I have come to help you deal with the aliens. But, if that doesn't work for you, we'll stop an…

"No, please. Help. I can't handle this alone." Drew said, quickly.

"Alright, calm down. I was joking. You did a good job so far." The girl said, touching Drew's shoulder.

Instantly, they were surrounded by dozens of fighters.

"Stay behind me." The girl said as her eyes glowed red.

"Optical Blast?" Drew thought as she hid behind girl.

"Insurcio," Another girl chanted as she appeared above them. Lightning struck each and every fighter surrounding them.

 "You're late, Gwen."

"Well, not everyone can move in the between like you and Dante, Avery. Speaking of, where is he?"

"Well," Avery said looking up at the alien armada.

On the alien armada's command ship,

Explosion after explosion, a quick blur can be seen on a camera.

"So, are you going to tell me where the Admiral is? Or do I have to move on to the next one? Or I could just destroy the entire fleet?" a teenage boy said, floating and holding an alien by the collar. The alien speaks in its own dialect. The boy let go and says, "thank you." He speeds off toward the Admiral.

Breaking through reinforced doors, the boy floats into the room slowly. Landing in front of a highly dressed alien, he smiled. "Are you the Admiral?" he asks, trying his best not to laugh.

 The alien speaks.

"Woah, there's no need for name calling. I'm Dante Moore, and I'm here to convince you to leave this planet alone and return home safely. If not, you're going to be responsible for hundreds… if not thousands of lives on this ship. Choose wisely."

 The alien speaks again.

"See, why do they always say that? And right before…

The alien launches itself at Dante, but Dante, instantaneously, caught it with one hand and slammed it into the ground.

"Doing this," Dante said, letting go of the alien. "Slimy," he thought wiping his hands. "Got the Admiral. Did the others show up yet?" he said into his communicator.

 "DANTE! YOU IDIOT!" Gwen yells.

"Ow," Dante says holding his ear.

 "Answer you question?" Avery said.

 "Haha, very funny, Avery. Gwen…

"No, don't Gwen me. You always do this. Whether it's an army of aliens or monsters, you recklessly charge into the fi…

Gwen, Listen! I wasn't being reckless." Dante said, annoyed. Suddenly, a energy beam brushes off on his shoulder. "Give me second." Dante said.

"Avery, we need to get up there." Gwen said.

"I'm sure he's o… A powerful laser shoots out of the armada ship. "Okay, that's my bad." Avery said.

 "That wasn't me!" Dante yells.

"Yeah, okay. We're still on our way." Gwen said as she flew up to the ship.

Avery sighed. "You coming?" she asked as she held out her hand.

Hesitantly, Drew grabbed Avery's hand and they were instantly appeared on the ship. "What? How?" Drew said.

"Careful. It might be a little discomforting for you. It usually is for normal people." Avery said.

"O… Suddenly, Drew felt like vomiting and light-headed as she starts to tumble over. "Woah there, don't worry. Take it easy." Another girl said as she catches Drew.

"Here, let's take off your armor and put this on. This won't weigh you down as much. It should also allow you to breath easier at this altitude." Another girl said, holding a metallic triangle. She zoomed around Drew, removing her armor and placing the triangle on her chest.

Forming on her body, a metallic liquid created a slim-fit spacesuit. Almost instantly, Drew began to feel better. "Something like this is amazing. How is this possible?" Drew said.

"We have access to some of the most advanced technology in the Omniverse." Avery said.

"Who are you people?"

"Well, that require a longer explanation, so how about we shelf that for later. Kay," Avery said.

"Uh, you guys should hear this?" Dante said, floating down and throwing the admiral down.

"Wow, a real alien lifeform." Drew said as she looked at it.

"It's strange. It spoke like Sub-Terrians. Apart from a few words. But it doesn't seem Sub-Terrians." Dante said.

"You're right. Sub-Terrians usually come from below the Earth. Not from space." Avery said.

"Maybe it's a dimension difference kind of thing." Gwen said.

"Or a temporal difference." Avery said.

"From my analysis, this alien doesn't share any Sub-Terrians DNA, but it does have some major Carnaxian and Maiju DNA similarities." Talia said.

"Impossible? The Carnaxians and Maiju are exclusive to only two dimensions, mine and Megra's." Dante said.

"Yeah, and my people are too busy settling on a planet near Alpha 6 in Dante's dimension. They haven't traveled outside that system yet." Megra said.

"Meaning some greater force is behind this." Avery said.

The alien laughed and spoke.

"Oh, shut up," Avery said as she places a capture device on the floor beneath it. As she got up, it was sucked in forcefully. "Okay, two of us is going to have to stay here in this dimension. And since I'm basically free to do anything, I'm staying." She said.

"Megra?" Dante said.

"I can't. I'm still looking for the heroes of my dimension, who were mysteriously stolen."

"Talia?" Gwen asked.

Talia shook her head. "I have to go to prom. It's mandatory for all students at my school." She said.

"Gwe…

"Actually, I wanted to talk with Dante about something once we got back." Gwen said.

"We can do that later. As a matter of fact, how about you go home, and I'll stay. Spend some time with Emi, Avi, and Celica, I'm sure they'll enjoy that." Dante said, oddly.

"He still keeping her at arm's length." Avery, Megra, and Talia thought.

"Okay, I understand. See you when you get home." Gwen said as she left.

Dante sighed. Suddenly, Avery hit his left side. "Ow!" he said. Megra hits his right side. "Ow!" Talia smacks the back of his head. "Ow, why are you guys hitting me?" he said.

"Avery, you tell him. We'll go check on Gwen." Megra said.

"I made them angry, didn't I?" Dante asked.

"Yes, all while making Gwen cry. She wanted to reconcile with you. And she's been wanting to for a while." Avery said.

"Oh, but I didn't notice. And, I'm not ready that yet."

"And I understand why. But, sooner or later, you're going to have to talk to her." Avery said.

Dante silently goes after Megra, Talia, and Gwen.

Drew hesitant to speak, tried to sneak away.

"Where do you think you're going? I thought you wanted an explanation. We can start now. If you want." Avery said, appearing in front of Drew.

"Uh, sure."
