Later that night, the queen was sleeping soundly while her husband and son snuck around the castle. "So, are you ready, my son?" her husband said.
"Yes, father, but are you sure this will work? Killing mother prematurely doesn't seem like the answer." Akayo said."I'm sure of it. You probably haven't unlocked your king's abilities because your mother.""But, why do I have to kill her?""Look! Do you want to be king or what? As king, you will have to do things that seems immoral and wrong, but it'll be best for your citizens." His father explained.Understanding the basics of it, Akayo knew what he had to do. Suddenly, they hear a whistling sound. Looking around, Akayo and his father put up their guard."What are you two doing?" a voice said from behind them. Scared, they immediately jumped and turned around, only to see Rajah."Rajah, what are you doing sneaking up on use like that?""Sorry, Zunari, I had to take the opportunity to scare my little brother and nephew." Rajah whispered, snickering."Not funny, uncle." Akayo said."Aw, forgive me, my future king. Shall we get going?" Rajah said as he bowed.Moving in silence, Rajah and Zunari killed the guards while Akayo made his way into the Queen's chambers. Easing up beside his mother's bed, he grabbed the dagger his father gave to him, and rammed it into her chest. Slightly opening her eyes, she seen a dark silhouette standing over her before her eyes closed permanently."Amalia, sweetheart, I need you to wake up for me. Wake up, dear." Malia's voice echoed throughout Amalia's dream."Mother, five more minutes." Amalia said."I'm afraid we don't have that kind of time little one." Another voice said."Yes, it's time for you step up to your duties as queen." Na' Jaka said."Yes, and we need to get you a safe place before your mother's killer come after you." Queen Nalia said."What! My mother's killers? Amalia yelled as she jumped up."Ssssh, yes dear. Someone killed me in my sleep, and they'll probably come for you next. So, I need you to get up and make your way to the escape tunnels." Malia said."Yes, mother." Amalia said as she'd gotten up. Struggling to hold back her tears, Amalia changed her clothes. "I swear I'll find who did it and make them pay." She thought to herself as she put her Caleaxium bracelet on. Suddenly, she felt someone approaching her room. She swiped her hand down, summoning a holographic tablet. This tablet gave her access to the castle's security, which was designed by the brightest mind of Savari. Only given to the royal guards and queen, Amalia shouldn't have access to the system. However, she was able to give herself access to it three years ago. Activating the alarm system, the people who approached immediately left. Amalia, then, opened a secret passage hidden under her bed. After entering the hole, the passage's entrance closed and sealed. Falling into the escape tunnels Malia was talking about, Amalia was shocked to see the tunnels."Wow, these are amazingly built." Amalia said."Yes, but we can't stay long. Let's get to the exit so we can get to the safe house." Malia said."But mother if they got to you, that means they know about everything about the castle and procedures. So, they'll know about the safe house.""She's right, Malia. Amalia, I think you should show her." Queen Nalia said."Show me what?" Amalia said.Pressing a button on her bracelet, Amalia moved closer to the wall. Suddenly, a pod appears from the ground. Getting in the pod, Amalia pressed a side button and the pod closed, formed a protective shell around itself, and propelled its way into the ground."Amalia, where are you headed?" Malia asked."Mother, before you get mad, I just want to let you know I had every intention of showing you.""Showing me what?" Malia asked.Suddenly, the pod rose from a lake, far from the castle, and headed to a cliff, oversaw the lake. A small passage opens on the side of the cliff so that the pod can fly inside. Landing softly, the pod stands upward and opens."What is this place?" Malia asked."This is my secret hideaway. A place where I could conduct experiments, invent new tech, and practice my powers.""Huh, well, I guess this is where you go when you're not studying in the castle. Wow, never in my life would I expect this from a ten-year-old. No matter if they're my daughter." Malia said."Well, I did have help. Past lives,""I can see that. Can't believe none of you told me about this. I would've been so happy to see this. And I could've helped with her training. I would've spent more time with her instead of attending those boring peace meetings with the UN.""Mother," Amalia said. "No, I'm okay. Just knowing my daughter is safe makes me happy. Anyway, you should get some rest. We'll come up with a plan tomorrow." Malia said."Alright,"Amalia walked down a hall and down a flight of stairs.
