Two months have passed, and Avery has been working hard to make a name for herself. From saving people from burning buildings to crashing airplanes, Avery made sure she was there to help. However, her mother wasn't so happy about her using her powers so freely. Worried that Avery was drawing too much attention, she wanted Avery to participate in a special training course designed to look like emergency rescue training. But, truthfully, it was designed to test the limitations of her powers and collect data so they could find a way to take away her powers temporarily if she ever goes bad.
"Alright, Avery we're ready when you are, sweetheart," Sydney said over her earpiece.
"Got it," Avery said before taking off from the moon. Before she entered the upper atmosphere, she opened a portal to the surface and flew through it, so she wouldn't have to slow down. Then, she passed a couple of abandoned buildings that looked like it was about to fall. Thinking quickly, Avery looked at the buildings and seen the buildings' foundation was about to be a break. Rushing to get to the foundations of each building, Avery split herself into three. Together, they repaired each buildings' foundation quickly, stabilizing them. Continuing on with her trials, Avery flew to a desert-like area and saw three people; Valkyrie, Atomic Master, and Zeus the third.
"Mom, what's the meaning of this?" Avery said.
"They are going to be the ones that who are going playing the villains. You need to defeat them. And, try not to ruin the desert." Sydney said.
"They are definitely trying to do something," Avery thought to herself.
"Would you like to know?" Mia said.
"Yes,"
"Well, according to our scan of the earth, they set up several scanners around your location. I guess they're trying to gather data on you. Just be careful. Try not to show them too much."
Instantly, Zeus attacked Avery while yelling "Stop talking to yourself, and fight!" However, Avery didn't feel anything. Zeus, then, felt an extreme stabbing pain in his right arm. Avery, then, looked at him and told him to surrender. Unfortunately, he was stubborn and determined to defeat Avery. Along with Valkyrie and Atomic Master, Zeus attacked her with a series of coordinated attacks, but Avery was unaffected by them. Meanwhile, in the DERAD secret base in the city of Chicago, Sydney leans over a computer operator to see the data they have gathered so far.
"Is this data correct?"
"Yes ma'am... all of the data here is correct. She's barely exerting any power, but she holding her own against three powerful heroes."
"So, besides the powers, we have already seen, what other powers does she have?"
"Well, director, she hasn't shown any of her powers besides cloning herself, molecular manipulation, invulnerability, and abnormal levels of adaptability and strength."
"That's weird. Why wouldn't she take this seriously? I told her not to hold anything back."
"Maybe, she doesn't have as much power as you think she does."
"We're talking about the girl who fought Erius and drove him away. I m pretty sure she's stronger than you think."
An alarm sounds, suddenly.
"Director, Draz is escaping. Please send back up." Someone over the speaker said.
"Damn it, why today?" Sydney thought to herself." Get me connected to those four." She ordered.
"Yes ma'am, connecting you Valkyrie, Zeus, Atomic Master, and Aramus." The computer operator said as she rapidly typed on her keyboard. After a minute, she was able to connect Valkyrie, Zeus, and Atomic Master. Unfortunately, She was unable to connect with Avery, because Avery didn't want to hear from her mother.
"Stop the training session! We need you four back here, immediately. Draz is trying to escape." Sydney said.
"What happened to your state-of-the-art security? Wasn't it supposed to keep him under for the rest of his life?"
"We don't what happened. There was some kind of malfunction with the sedative injection system." The computer operator said.
"I knew we should've held him in our prison at Olympus," Zeus said.
"We can worry about that later. Dear, how fast can Thor fly over to DERAD headquarters?" Atomic Master said.
"Thor can move as fast as his lightning, but he made it clear that he wouldn't help humanity again after the last time Draz surfaced. And, truthfully, Draz is too powerful for any of us to handle."
"What about Avery? Do you think she can handle him?"
"You would send your own daughter to fight against a god that killed and devoured thousands of own kind to gain power."
"If it'll mean saving the world from that monster, I will. Now, where is she? We can't get in contact with her."
"She's… not here," Valkyrie said as she turned around.
"What! How do a teenage girl just disappear in front of three of the most powerful superheroes in the world!" Sydney yelled.
"You do remember what I told you and your husband right. She has your father's powers. She could be anywhere in almost instantly." Valkyrie said.
Sydney sighed and said "Okay since we don't have Avery to take the lead, I need you to get here quickly to provide backup. I'll try to locate Avery with the help of Mrs. Mystic. Also, try to keep him in this until we can find her,"
"Alright, we'll try to hold him off as long we can," Valkyrie said as she, Atomic Master, and Zeus took off towards DERAD headquarters.
Meanwhile, Avery was brought to a spaceship, where she saw Anko, Greg, Jullian, and the four other students wearing the same color uniforms.
"Good, you're all here. I have your first mission as NHP agents." Anko said.
"What! Really?" Greg and Jullian said, excitedly.
"Wow, you don't even know what it is yet. Some of these universes can be horrible and brutal. While some of them have people who are as strong as us Jan-gu." a boy said as he walked in through a door, that appeared out of nowhere. Immediately, Greg's and Jullian's moods changed.
"You could've waited until I told them their mission before breaking their spirits, Reiji," Anko said.
"Breaking our spirits?" Avery thought to herself.
"True, but I thought I should inform them of the danger of being an NHP agent. Plus, we wanted to see our little sister." the boy said.
"We?" Anko said.
"Sister?"' Greg and the others said.
"Reiji, you ruined the surprise," Yukio said as she appeared beside Avery.
"Yukio!" Anko and Avery yelled.
"Hey, Mama Anko. Avery," she said, happily hugging Avery. Anko sighed, and said, "you might as well come out too, Azarel."
"As you can see, Mother always has a twentieth sense about her children. A trait that is unique to only her." a girl who looked exactly like Anko said as she appeared on the other side of Avery.
"Well, I had to create a sense that allowed me to track my danger-prone children when they were babies."
"Well, we got it from you and father," Azarel said.
"You mean you got it from your father. I'm nothing like Reo. He could attract more problems than any person that we know." Anko said.
"So, that time you, Eve, and Lilith fought that army of women who were trying to keep you in the Dolunas world."
"Can you blame us? They were trying to erase our memories of our family. Not to mention, their queen was trying to forcibly have her way with me. And, that doesn't
"Mom!" Azarel yelled.
Anko snapped out of her rant and noticed that she was subconsciously releasing her aura, which made it hard for Greg and the six others to breathe. Immediately, she stopped releasing her aura. "Sorry, I wasn't trying to do that."
"What happened?" Avery asked with a confused expression.
"Did you not feel that?" Reiji asked.
"Well, Avery is so used to my aura when I explode it out like that. She doesn't feel it no more."
"Strange, she had a different reaction when she first met me."
"Something tells me you weren't radiating regular dimensional energy."
Yukio looked away.
"She's hasn't experienced the feeling of Void Energy yet. I was strictly using Dimensional energy when I was training her. You could've destroyed her soul, and started a primordial transformation process. A process she wasn't ready for," Anko said.
"Whoops," Yukio said, innocently.
Anko sighed while thinking "She is definitely Lucie's child."
"So, Mama Anko, do you want us to help them?" Reiji asked.
"You can if you want to, but they won't all three of you. Besides, I got them some backup from their universe." Anko replied.
"Who?"
A woman walked into the room. She was wearing a full-body black outfit, with gold lining. "I guess that would be my cue to introduce myself," she said as her helmet collapsed, revealing her face.
"Anima! The lioness queen of the small country of the Sahara." Greg said.
"Why is the leader of a third-world country helping us?" Jullian said.
"Well, she is helping you because she feels like she's in debt to Reo and me."
"Why because you saved her country from flooding?" one of the students asked.
"Flood?" Anko said as looked at Avery, who was shaking her head. "No, Kelly, I didn't save her country from a flood. My husband and I knew one of her ancestors, and helped their country from being destroyed by civil war."
"Ancestors? How old are you?" Greg said.
"Rude," Anko thought to herself as she ignored Greg. "Anyway, let me explain your first mission." she said as she waved her hand, which activated a holographic projector."This is Omen Armada, An overlord of worlds. He is headed for the planet, Romad. A planet, full of innocent, peaceful people who can't protect themselves. Your mission is to stop and capture him before he makes contact with the surface of the planet."
"Why?" Kelly asked.
"Because his body is made from a substance similar to antimatter. If he touches the planet, it and everyone on it will immediately be swallowed."
"Doesn't that mean we can't touch him either?" Jullian said.
"Of course, that's why you have Avery. She is the only one of you who can fight Omen, due to her Jan-gu heritage."
"Jan-gu?"
"We'll get to that later. Her body can withstand the constant damage that comes with touching him directly. The rest of you are to provide support from Romad's surface while making sure the Romadians stay calm. Avery will be busy with the battle to be on point. So, Amalia will be your leader while Avery is occupied."
"Amalia?" They all thought to themselves.
"Anima's real name is Queen Amalia Aku."
"Yes but you all can call me Amalia… since we're all doing the same age." She said.
"Okay, two questions. First, who made Avery our leader in the first place? She doesn't seem like the best choice for the job. Second, don't this mission seem a little extreme for beginners like us?" Alex complained.
"Well, Alex, Avery has more experience dealing with extreme situations than any of you. That's why she's was assigned as your squad leader. Also, this mission is one of the quickest ones. That's why we gave it to you. Usually, we handle problems that can't be solved so quickly. This is just something so you experience the weight of the job as NHP Agents. So, don't worry about the difficulty. If anything, you have the easy job while Avery's job is the difficult one. She fighting against a being that could swallow planets in seconds. So, don't complain about an easy job." Anko said as she raised her voice with each sentence.
"Wow, Mom is really angry," Azarel said, telepathically to Yukio.
"Well, that's expected. She treats Avery like she treats you." Yukio replied.
"Overprotective and overbearing."
"No, with the love and kindness that is worthy of a princess," Yukio said.
"Try telling her that when I brought that boy home."
"Yeah, she was so mad at you that night. I thought she was going destroy ten universes with her voice alone." Yukio laughed.
"It's not funny. She stopped talking to me for years until I and Arlus broke up."
"Didn't he dump you for another demon girl?"
"Of course not, I broke it off with him after I caught him cheating on me. I mean seriously. Why would he break up with me?"
"Maybe, because of your overbearing personality," Reiji said.
"Reiji!" Azarel yelled as she attacked Reiji. However, Reiji dodged and ran out the door. Following him out the door, Azarel screamed "come back here, you brat!". Anko sighed and whispered "For someone who's supposed to be thousands of years old, they act like children." Avery, overhearing her, looked at Anko and wondered how old would she get.
"Don't worry about that. Just focus on the present." Anko telepathically said to Avery. "Anima, can you show them to the weapons room so they can get their weapons? I want to have a conversation with Avery."
"Of course... come with me to the weapons room," Anima said before leaving the room. Then, the students followed behind Anima as Avery stayed behind. The door, then, closed and locked them in.
"How are you feeling? Nervous? Anxious? Overwhelmed?" Anko asked.
"Yes, a little of them all," Avery replied.
"Good, that means you're reacting to your surroundings better, in which should allow you to feel out dangerous situations throughout the omniverse. But, it also makes it harder to focus on one thing. Like right now, Reo is saving a universe from a void rift. And, it's my territory to protect. So, don't be afraid to ask for help from the other NHP agents for help. Especially, when you're busy with your superhero stuff on Earth. Speaking of which, they're having a little trouble with a Chimera right now. Do you want to go help them, or continue your mission to deal with Omen?"
"Why are you even asking that silly question? Of course, I want to help them, but the people of Romad need me more. There's no question about it."
"Good, you seem very determined, but you shouldn't lie. You're worried about somebody on Earth. And, it's not your family." Anko said.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Avery said as she turned her head away.
"Oh really, Who's Yolunda Wilde?" Anko said as she dodges the sudden attack by Avery. "Okay, she has to be somebody special to you to attack me so suddenly. Is she your gir...
Avery covered Anko's mouth. "Enough, you already know everything. Why do you torture me?"
"Well, when I was your age, I learned it's better to reveal your feelings to the person you love than holding it inside," Anko said, telepathically.
Avery moved her hand. "It's hard. What if she doesn't like me?" She said with a sad and innocent expression.
"Let me teach you a little power that the others had to learn by themselves. Consider it as an apology." Anko said, in an attempt to cheer up Avery.
Avery nodded.
"Alright, remember what I told you about our people's eyes in the Void room."
"You said we could see everything in the entire omniverse with enough focus. But, didn't you say it was dangerous because it could overload the mind with information."
"Yeah, that was before you were exposed to Void energy."
"Void energy? What's that?" Avery asked.
"Right, you don't know about the spectrum of reality. Okay, I'll have to teach you a lot before the process is finished?" Anko thought to herself. "Avery, I want you to sit down and meditate with me. I'm going to give you the rest of the lessons I had in store or you but, since you're becoming a primordial ahead of schedule. I have no choice but to pour our history of our people into you." Anko said as she sat down on the ground.
Following Anko's example, Avery sat down in front of Anko. She, then, closed her eyes and focused on gathering her energy. After a few minutes, she felt her energy being sucked out of her body. Worried, She quickly opened her eyes and saw a vast, white blank space.
"Welcome, Avery Satin... No, I should call you by your Jan-gu name, Aramus Amos. No, I should use your superhero name, Aramus. Which one do you prefer?" A mysterious voice said as a woman appeared in front of Avery.
"Who are you? What's going on here? Where's Anko?"
"Well, this is a surprise. You're more worried about a woman that doesn't share any blood with you. Meanwhile, your actual mother is trying her hardest to contact you. Tell me, why won't you answer her calls?" the woman said as she transformed into Sydney.
"The only reason why she is calling is that either she wants me to fight a chimera or she wants to continue her experiments on me," Avery replied with a discontent tone.
"Experiments? Sounds like you and your mother don't have the best of relationships. Why is that?" Another voice said as a man appeared beside her.
"Where should I start? The fact that she and my father ignored me until I had got superpowers. And, even she was the first to found out about me, all she could say was no. She won't allow me to be a superpowered freak. And, now she wants to be there and supports me being a superhero under her supervision. No, she doesn't have that right. So, you ask me why I'm more worried about Anko. It's because she and Reo, along with their children, treated me more like family in a few days than my actual family has ever been my entire LIFE!" Avery said, angrily, as released a shockwave of energy.
"Jeez, you have major issues kid." A person said as a body formed out of nowhere.
"Mother!"
"Oh, sorry, I'm not your mother. I chose this form so it would make it easier to talk with you. However, I didn't expect it to be this quick."
"What are you talking about? You didn't expect what to happen so fast."Avery asked, confused.
"Guess Anko didn't tell you about what happens when you transition into the Primordial level. Well, let me start by introducing myself. I'm Void, and the source of the Primordials powers. Well, that's not completely the truth. It's kinda difficult to explain."
Meanwhile, back on earth, Valkyrie and the rest of the heroes are fighting Draz and his legion of Shadow Beasts. Fortunately, they were able to keep the fighting contained in the DERAD's desert headquarters, but they couldn't fight forever. And, his Shadow Beast continued to regenerate after being destroyed. Soon, they would be outnumbered due to many heroes loses their lives, and being eaten by Draz. Luckily, Sydney had a contingency set for if Draz ever got released. The DERAD desert headquarters would self-destruct and collapse in on itself, burying Draz under thousands of pounds of sands, rocks, and dirt. However, Sydney still had faith that the heroes would be able to stop him.
"Sydney, any luck on finding Avery. We could really use the help." Valkyrie said as she struggled to get up.
"No luck, but I think she ignoring my calls on purpose. God, why must she be angry at me at such a crucial time?"
"Speaking of, is it me or do you and Avery have some bad blood between you and her?"
"Do you really have the time to worry about the relationship between me and my daughter when you're literally staring at death?"
"I'm multitasking. You know I'm a certified therapist. I can help repair your relationship." Valkyrie said as she launched herself to Draz and punched him into a wall. Then, she grabbed him and slammed him to the ground. She repeatedly punched him into the ground. However, his body continued to heal itself after every punch, but Valkyrie didn't show any sign of stopping her relentless attacks.
"Val, VAL! That's enough. There's no need to continue."Atomic Master said as he tried to pull Valkyrie away.
In that second, Draz punched Valkyrie off him and flew out of the building.
"DAMMIT! Atomic Master, Why the hell did you stop her?" Sydney yelled in his earpiece.
"Because she didn't look she was going to stop to notice that he was dying."
"John, you couldn't be any more wrong. He wasn't dying. His body was constantly healing itself after every punch I gave him. He's gotten stronger."
"Ma'am, there are three anomalies flying over the city. One has been confirmed to be the Hero, Nova." a computer operator said.
"Ma'am, heat signatures have identified the second flying anomaly as Draz. But, we still have no way of seeing the last anomaly." Another computer operator said.
"Alright, get me in touch with Nova," Sydney said. A minute later, Sydney hears Nova's voice over her earpiece."Make it quick, Syd. I trying to think of a way to defeat Draz without the need of SuperNova Blast."
"First, thank you for considering the earth before nuking it. Can I ask who is with you up in the sky?
"I don't know. She introduced herself as Aramus. Is that a new hero I'm supposed to be aware of?"
"Nova, can you give my daughter your earpiece? I need to have a conversation with her." Sydney said calmly while rubbing her forehead.
Nova looked over to Avery and took a tiny device out of her ear. She, then, gave it to her and said "Good luck." before flying at Draz and crashing him into the ground. Avery looked at the tiny device and sighed. She, then, place it in her ear.
"Hello,"
"WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T YOU BEEN ANSWERING YOUR PHONE!?" Sydney yelled.
"Because, mother, I was and still is lightyears away from Earth. And, I doubt your communication technology can reach that far."
"Why were you out in space again? Didn't your father and I tell you it's too dangerous to be traveling out there alone? Especially, when we don't know what the environment might do to you you're not used to your powers yet. And, I cant get in touch with your grandfather to explain them to yo... Wait, what do you mean and still there?"
"Exactly as I said, I'm at least three lightyears fighting a being capable of eating planets, and I refuse to abandon the inhabitants of that planets just because my mother wants to monopolize my powers for the Earth."
"Is that really what you think I'm doing? Trying to keep you from helping those in need."
Suddenly, Nova is thrown past Avery unconscious. "Let's talk about this later," Avery said as she held out her hand, catching Nova with her telekinesis. Avery, then, flew to Draz, who was running at supersonic speed towards the next city. Almost catching him, Avery extended her arm and focused on opening a portal, precisely and quickly, in front of Draz. Successful, both Draz and Avery went into the portal and ended up on Romad. "Whoops," She thought to herself.
"What did you do?" Draz said.
"Dad?" Alex said.
"Alex? What are you doing here?"
"Me... Shouldn't you be in prison?" Alex replied.
Suddenly, Draz took off into the sky. But, before Avery could take off after him, Alex jumped onto Avery's back.
"What the hell are you doing!?" Avery yelled.
"Shut up, you're going tell me everything you know about my father?" Alex yelled.
"I don't know anything about your father except he was trying to eat a city. I tried to take him to a secluded planet, but I ended up here. Now, if you excuse me, I have to go get him." Avery said before taking off into the sky.
As she arrived, she saw herself and Omen, who was being consumed by Draz. After he was finished, Draz began to slowly change.
"This. This is what I always wanted! Unlimited Power!" He said as he grew to the size of a planet.
"Uh, Anko, We have a situation," Avery said, telepathically, as her other self fused with her.
"Don't tell me he ate the planet," Anko said.
"No, A supervillain from earth ate him. And, now he grew to the size of a planet."
"Since when did the earth of this universe get a chimera capable of eating antimatter!" Anko yelled.
"He was in a prison located at the bottom of DERAD's headquarters," Avery explained.
Anko sighed. "Alright, that changes everything. Make sure he doesn't leave your sight. Reo and I will be there soon."
"Okay," Avery said.
Draz looked down and saw the energy Avery was radiating. "More! I want more food." He yells as he reaches for Avery. Luckily, Avery dodged his hand and used her heat vision to sever his hand. However, It didn't even leave a mark, Only upsetting him even more.
"Well, that didn't help," Avery said as she pressed her wrist, activating her new super suit. It was a black jumpsuit, with purple trimming, with a black and purple jacket with along black cape flowing from it.
Draz, then, swung a second time at her. This time he was fortunate enough to hit her into an asteroid. But, it didn't do anything to her. Aggravated, Avery launched herself off the asteroid into Draz's body at high speed, pushing him back to Earth. Fortunately, Draz's body shrunk down to his regular size, as if he vomited all of the energy he consumed.
Crashing into the ground, both of them created two large craters in the middle of a city. Waking up from the screaming and the helicopters, Avery floated out of her crater and seen she was surrounded by News' cameras, soldiers, and tanks.
"Attention, you are not permitted to enter Earth's atmosphere. Go home to where you belong and take your friend with you. This is your only warning."
"Man, since when was the government so direct about alien visitors?" Avery thought to herself. Suddenly, she felt a malicious aura coming from the other crater and went to check it out.
"Hungry. Hungry, Hungry, Hungry. I'M SO HUNGRY!" Draz yelled as he released a shockwave of energy.
"Wow, he's putting out some serious power. Probably be enough to entertain all three of us, Avery." Reo said as he and Anko appeared beside Avery.
"You sure that's a good idea. She just got her powers she could lose control. You know how bad it was for us when we first started. And, Not to mention, how Azarel and Yukip when they got their Primordial powers." Anko said, concernedly.
"Don't worry too much. I have faith that Avery will be able to control her powers."
Ten minutes later and Draz has been defeated and sealed in Avery's castle globe. However, that didn't help the fact that some news crew and soldiers lost their lives. And, unfortunately, the blame all fell upon Reo, Anko, and Avery, whose secret identity was revealed to the world hours later by Central leaders Neuron and Atomic Master.
As weeks passed by, Avery was facing ridicule and judgment from everyone around her including her family and friends. Unable to take it anymore, Avery grabbed her castle globe and left Earth without saying a word.
"Good, our little pet quite well in getting rid of that annoyance," A female voice said.
"Is it time, our master? The invasion?" A man said with two different, distorted voices.
"Of Course, our reign over the humans has finally come." She said as she summoned flames to her hand.
