Nakir drove himself to my estate so that he can drive me around without the need for Delic or any other servant to accompany us. The level of how uncomfortable I am is unbearable. I just want to get out. I don't want to breathe the same air as this good-for-nothing. I would rather be looking over piles of paperwork than suffer through this!
"Princess, we are here," Nakir announces as he parks in a nearby garage. "It's just a short walk, so it should be fine unless you would like for me to carry you."
"I'm good. Thanks though," I immediately reply, stepping out of the car. I fix my clothes and get my fake smile ready.
"Shall we get going? I wouldn't like for you to sit out in the cold for too long." Nakir holds out his hand to which I, with all the sheer willpower in my mind, force myself to grab.
