"Why aren't we waking Mommy up?"
"Because we want to surprise her with your new outfit."
"But you just met me yesterday. How does Dad have clothes for me already?"
"Your aunties and uncles in the village wanted to make you something as a welcome gift when they heard that a little girl joined the family."
"Will I get to meet my aunties and uncles so that I can say thank you?"
"You'll get to meet them after breakfast along with all of your new cousins."
"I'm so excited!"
"Shh~ Not too loud or else your mother is going to wake up."
"Oh! Shh~"
Lily quietly giggles as Alex picks her up to take her to the bathroom to give her a bath.
"Dad, why does everyone call Mommy 'my Lady' or 'Lady Viola'?" Lily asks as Alex lowers her into the tub.
"That's because your mother is our master. We aren't married yet, but even when we are, I think we will still call her that when we are working," Alex responds, drenching Lily in water in order to wash her hair.
