Half an hour went by in a flash and as they approached the town known as "Kurts" Sirus told the plan to the human, who would undoubtedly try his hardest as he would be relieved of his shameless debt.
"I can sense other humans approaching not long now, are you ready? I will not accept anything less than perfect." Said Sirus as he stared at the human with his frighting bloody eyes.
"Yes." Simply said the human in a low voice as he played with his hands, his heart pounding ever faster as he were scared, not, of the monster but the guards refusing to let a monster much less the enemy of mankind within their gates. "Ahh, may I know your name, umm, sir?"
"Sirus, you may call me simply Sirus." Responded Sirus as he simply stared over the downhill as he planned and tracked every movement of the humans at the entrance of the gate as well as the archers, on top of the walls.
"S-Sirus? I have never heard of such name, where d-did you come from if it isn't so selfish for me to say?" Mumbled the human in a low voice, still stuttering as he was scared to offend the being.
"If I were to tell you, not a single being on this planet would believe me, much less a shameless human in debt of 10 gold." He laughed shortly after as he couldn't get over the thought of being in debt for something a child could work for less in a week.
"I-I would still like to kno…" Before he could even finish his sentence he bumped into the monster, who raised his fist in the air, signalling to halt their movements.
"Were less than a hundred metres away from the guards." He paused to look at the human. "I let you take more than enough time to let you prepare yourself so you better not disappoint me or I'll skin you alive and…"
"I am ready! I promise! I won't fail you, Sir Sirus!" He said in a hurry as he jogged over to the guards as the rattle within his back sounded.
Sirus leaned over a tree as he crossed his arms, watching the human panic as he jogged over to the guards who could already be seen laughing their asses off, "Seems they know his situation, otherwise even he wasn't in debt I doubt they would laugh so casually at their own civilian."
"..."
"Hah. Hah. Let me." He pointed his finger in front of him as to let him take a breather before he spoke.
The guards laughed even louder at his patheticness.
"What you want old joe, back so soon to beg once more? Well, you better turn back now before you humiliate yourself, even more, HAHAHAHA."
"P-please I'm not here to beg again, just a request that. Hah. That you hear me out and let me make a selfish request!"
The guards all stopped laughing and turned serious as they narrowed their eyes as to wonder what would make him act so differently all of a sudden.
"Go on." Said the guard.
"I know monsters aren't allowed inside of the town but."
One of the guards handed his spear over to his comrade and proceeded to grab joe's collar in a serious manner.
"You, want us to bring a monster into the town? Have you finally lost your sanity! As if we would endanger our people just so you could bring a monster to rampage into the town! Get lost before I decided to send you to the dungeon." He snotted at his words.
"B-but wait you don't understand!"
The guard undercut punched old joe in the stomach, and spat at his face. "You bring shame! Get lost!"
Old Joe cried inwardly at the pain caused to his stomach, but he refused to give up as his life was on the line, with much effort he blurted. "It can speak! The monster can speak fluently In our language! I-I even spoke to it!"
What old Joe just said shocked the guards and was surprised at his words. "What you mean exactly it can speak our language?" Spoke the guard, not believing for a second what he said were true.
"It's true! You have to believe me, actually, in fact, he's back there waiting for me!" Cried out old Joe as he pointed a trembling finger at the forest.
The guards felt a cold shiver running up their spine as they slowly looked at the forest as they felt a cold sinister stare looking at them. They all gulped at once, even without seeing what old Joe blurted.
A few moments later as they stared at the forest a tall individual came out from the forest and slowly walked forward with a menacing aura, that they could feel even from hundreds of metres away from here, they felt as if they could barely breathe.
"W-what have you, DONE! Raise the alarms quickly!" shouted the guard as he stared up towards the wall, a scout of sorts quickly retrieved his horn and after with a deep breathe he blew through the thin funnel, sending out a loud old Viking sound alike, that resounded throughout the entire town, startling their residents.
Chaos shortly arrived at the people of Kurts as their people ran towards the centre of town where they would evacuate through there.
A few moments later nearly all the guards and what seemed to be a couple of dozen humans dressed in strange clothing as some wield swords, others wielded staffs or even wands.
A force of more than 200 fighters appeared at the gates. "What happened!? Why did someone sound the alarms?
"A monster swarm is coming."
"WHAT! But the nearest monster forest is more than 10 hours away! What would they be doing here!"
"Hey look! It's just one monster!"
"Eh? Why would they sound the alarm for one monster?"
Confusion quickly spread throughout the people and the newly arrived guards.
"..."
'Shit, maybe I should have followed behind him, now I got to deal with these idiots. As if a human could talk to the guards about letting a demon in.' Sirus signed heavily and pounded at how to approach this army calmy to get rid of the misunderstanding.
