For a moment, the two sat in silence looking at each other. Neither one of them wished to move because they were afraid they were in a dream. Finally, Nick made the first move. He suddenly remembered the things that transpired today and jumped to his feet. He began throwing his minimal belongings into his two suitcases yet again.
Confused, Jin just looked on at the scene transpiring before her. Giggling she asked "What are you doing idiot? Running away from me once I found you again?" Her words frozen him. Looking deep in her eyes, he attempted to process if what he'd just heard is was his sister had actually said to him.
"Running from you, no. Leaving town, hell yes. Too many crazies in this town for my tastes. Of course you're welcome to keep sitting there all cute and whatnot or you can help throw the rest of my junk in here so we can leave together." He remained motionless, waiting for his sister to strike back with a smartass remark as she used to.
Jin couldn't look him in the eyes after hearing those words. Looking away from him the only words she could form were, "you think I'm cute? Hundreds of years and I'm still the same but now you think I'm cute..."
"Haven't changed my ass! Just look at you. The only thing that stayed the same is your eyes and the color of your hair. Back then you had no muscle on your body and now your stomach is beyond fit. Your hair is about two feet longer. Don't even get me started on you..." Covering his mouth Nick barely stopped his own ranting. Now all he could do is hope she didn't start prying for what he was about to say. After all, how badly would she try to beat him if he had actually commented on her newly formed mountains.
Slyly, Jin's smile grew. When she heard Nick cut himself off she turned to see why. Following his eyes she immediately knew what he was going to say. Back then, bras didn't exist but it was far to painful to go about the daily work with two lumps bouncing all around. To fix that problem, Jin would always tightly wrap her chest after she woke up. She'd kept her hair short so it wouldn't get in the way while she was in the fields. Everything else was just a product of time. Something they'd both had a lot of.
"Oh, you seem to have noticed quite a lot about me Nicky. Tell me, which change do you like the best?" She stood up and slowly drew closer to him as she voiced her teasing thoughts. Looking at him now she could see the pressure he was feeling radiating off his body in waves. She took this opportunity to observe more of the changes in him as well. she looked him over from head to toe with a hint of curiosity as she passed is midsection.
