Presenting her invitation to the guard by the entranceway, she made a descent into the grand hall, spying the whirlwind of colours twirling around the ballroom and the huge chandeliers that hung across the hall. Everything was all so exquisite and splendour.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs, her gaze roved around the room, searching for something more interesting than the gaggle of nobles.
The lively hall was filled with laughter and chatter, everyone seemed to be engrossed in some interesting conversation, their whispers and titters clouding the faint music. Despite her hopes of being a wallflower tonight, several people had walked up to her to strike a conversation, men and women alike, making small talk about random things like the weather. A few smitten men had asked to dance with her but she had declined. However, Hina entertained the presence of the ladies as they all seemed too engrossed in talking about themselves to ask her any questions.
