As both were filling the form. Cordelia inside her mind was thinking if really Niel will be there it will be very much problem for her. As he won't leave her that easily. But the specific reason behind it was still unknown. This was just roaming in her mind when Leona said,
"I am done Cordelia , What about you?"
"Ah yeah, I am too done. Let's go and summit it."
Leona nodded towards her and they started moving towards the place where everyone was submitting their forms. As first Leona handed the form, the boy who was taking care of it said,
"Sorry! But I can't accept your form as you are not qualified for programming language as well as not good in gaming skills."
"What!!!" Leona said it with a loud tone, further she continued, "This can't be. I waited for this long and now I will just go and come back again when again forms will reopen? No No! Please accept my form. I promise in a short time I will learn that too."
"Sorry! But we can't. This is rule by sir which can't be broken please try to understand!"
"No, I won't go from here until you accept my form!"
"Please leave. As we are being polite with you, don't cross the limit or we will have to call out security to let you out and will be banned for future from filling out any form in the Forest Research Department."
Hearing this Leona became teary eyed , In anger she tore the page and threw it there while she ran out from there and crying. Cordelia was about to go behind her but that man stopped her and asked for form. She didn't want to give it but that person himself took it.
"Alright you are qualified, as you have all skills please ahead yourself in the conference room soon your physical strength will be tested by Sir. The oral interview will be taken tomorrow."
Cordelia nodded her head and said,
"Umm can I go out just for five minutes to look for my friend. I will be back soon."
"Alright, but please be here on time or I will disqualify you. As there are many waiting in queue."
Cordelia nodded her head and went from there taking long steps to find where Leona was! At a far distance she observed that Leona was sitting on the ground crying. She rushed to her and said,
"Leona! Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I am okay don't worry about me, you go and pass out this interview. And be one of the five members from all these peoples."
"Leona! Please don't cry I assure next time you will get a chance after you are done learning programming and gaming skills."
"Who knows? but you don't waste your time here , please go I want you to accomplish that on behalf of me."
"Then I will surely fulfil this for you just wait for me. Love you my Leona!"
"Haha! I love you too, my corde!"
Leona and Cordelia both hugged each other and soon Leona waved a goodbye to her while Cordelia returned back to the Department conference room. There were many people all around, while some of the girls were still mocking her. Cordelia ignored everyone.
Right from the gate opened and a handsome gentleman stepped out, which was actually Niel. As Cordelia saw that, she said in herself that Niel is still the same bossy person as he was before!
"Greetings, beautiful girls and young gentlemens. I am Niel the Head Monitoring Person of this Department. Happy to meet you all. Well, as for the first round crowd is too much isn't it? So why not make it a little bit less. And before only I am sorry for them who will get eliminated from here because I need to choose the best five and here a huge crowd is there so it's obvious not everyone will pass. So don't be discouraged and try out your luck next time. This department will always welcome you next time."
Cordelia was too much annoyed by his introduction and show off appearance
Also, She was feeling lonely as Leona wasn't there with her. But to prove herself the best, she cheered herself.
Niel Continued and said,
"So basically all of you please form a queue and March forward along with me to the place where your first task will be showcased."
Everyone present there quickly formed in a queue, while Cordelia prefered to be at last. But it got the opposite. Niel told his guard to take care of ahead people in the queue while he will be taking care of the back side. As he was now standing just back of Cordelia, Not to let Niel see her. Cordelia put her hoodie's over her head which Niel noticed. He became suspicious about it and said,
"Excuse me? Are you feeling cold? Or having any fever like the cap you put just now was weird!"
"No, it's nothing. I am just doing it casually."
Hearing this voice Niel became more conscious as if he had heard this voice before.
"You are Cordelia right?"
And of course he guessed it correctly.
"No I am not." Cordelia replied.
"Got it you are that corde only Haha! Omg seriously we met again. That's why you were hiding up. "
On seeing that Niel was laughing at her she became angry and turned towards him, as soon as he saw her , he was stunned by her appearance.
"Ohh, you are quite changed. I like that! But lol just seeing you I can't stop my laugh."
"Shut up! You!! Why don't you just stop teasing me and if I had known a little earlier you are going to show up here, I wouldn't have ended up coming here."
"Seriously! Come on. Anyways, corde still are you having that something something going on with you and that…..?"
Before he could complete his sentence Cordelia covered his mouth and said,
"Enough there is nothing, 'something something' okay? Next time if you will again bring up this matter it won't be good."
After saying this, Cordelia turned away and started moving in a queue. Niel on seeing this smirked and started following her.
