Niel holded her by the head and said,
"Stop now corde, your condition isn't fine. Then why are you forcing yourself?" Cordelia didn't say anything ,she was just seeing Niel and listening to what all he was saying to her. Slight tears came from her eyes. All this was carrying when Daniel interrupted and said, "Niel how much you will give lectures to this cute girl. Already, I am not liking her tears on face and you are busy lecturing and scolding her."
At which Niel responded , " What cute and SHE? Seriously, she always looks like an angry bird." Saying this Niel started to laugh and of course by this Cordelia was staring at him with eyes full of anger. Daniel noticed it and said,
"Haha! Calm down both of you, and Niel Please stop making fun of her. If you say something more, then you are going to have huge trouble with yourself. Hope you understand what i meant to say.." Daniel said this while pointing Niel to look at Cordelia who was fuming in anger on Niel. But Niel didn't show any concern to this and continued further and said,
"Come on Daniel you don't know that once she had something so embarrassing secret feelings on a boy and..." Before he could complete his sentence Cordelia gave a punch on Niel's arm. And Cordelia said, "Don't you dare to say anymore and how many times should I tell you that let bygones be bygone. That thing how many times in front of everyone you will say first during tasks and now here." As she finished saying this tears came from her eyes. Niel noticed and felt bad for Cordelia ,he wiped her tears and said,
"Sorry Corde. I didn't mean to hurt you like this, it's just you being stubborn , never ready to listen to what I say." Again by this statement of Niel she started staring at him as if she would eat him right there. But of course in every argument there is a person who cools the atmosphere. And here for playing that role Daniel was present. He patted both Cordelia and Niel's back. Then there was awkward silence between all three until Daniel speaked up, " How both of you are behaving like kids?And tell me also what you are hiding from me Cordelia? Is it something so private that only Niel can know about it?" At first for a while she started looking at Niel and her eyes which were telling that now what she should reply to Daniel , but what a surprise he was enjoying this instead of helping her and in support of Daniel,he too started saying repeatedly about telling that embarrassing moment to tell Daniel. While Cordelia started making a nervous smile on face and in a breaking tone she said, "It's Nothing actually ,but if i don't tell also then this stupid anyhow by giving hints will tell you not only this but it can be he will make my small incident a big twisted incident. Better I will tell myself." Listening to this Daniel nodded his head in yes while Niel just was laughing inside his thoughts only remembering that past incident. Cordelia continued further ,
"Actually, I had a crush on a guy who was studying with us in the university, I didn't know his name nor now remember how he might look , just that time I don't know how at first sight it became a crush feeling inside me for him. And this thing got noticed by a stupid whom I never liked."
On which Daniel replied , "And who was that stupid guy?"
"No one but this bossy Niel only! The more stupid thing happened when i got to know that, He was knowing the guy i was having crush. But then too he didn't help me to have some contact with that guy. You don't know this stupid has more that 50 friends in boys and girls, whole university girls were behind him with love letters and roses. It was because of his flirty behaviour around all girls." As Cordelia completed her sentence Niel and Daniel started laughing very hardly. For two minutes they were laughing and then Daniel stopped. Where Cordelia , seeing all this was feeling regret telling them about this incident as she was knowing that this was going to happen anyhow she calmed herself and said, "Why everytime you laugh Niel when i tell about this incident and now Daniel you too laughing I never expected this from you at least."
Niel, holding his laugh said, " OH MY CORDELIA you are becoming too naive day by day and seriously you had a crush on a guy who is currently in this department with his flirty nature around all girls. Do you even know about this?"
Cordelia made a questioning face and said, "What nonsense Niel? I know you are kidding with me and also the person I had crush Won't be flirting like you stupid, and if now too you think that he is here then please you only tell me his name, profession in this department." Niel again laughed a bit and said , "Idiot he is no other but this Daniel only, who is sitting beside you! And now he is a well admired Doctor of this Department." Hearing this Cordelia was stunned without knowing how to react whereas Daniel was also shocked that really if Cordelia had a crush on him that time he would have himself proposed to her. But during that time he didn't know that she was also studying there. As he already fell for her at first when he saw Cordelia in Niel's room.
And finally Cordelia broke the silence by saying, "What!!!....This is so weird I didn't expect this to be Daniel. Umm I am feeling Awkward here , Niel where my room is? I will get back there and thanks for your hospitality today."
Daniel quickly said,
"Cordelia You don't need to feel Awkward. It's alright people generate feelings during their young age and I am very glad to know that someone had a crush on me. If that time you had told me about your feelings maybe I would have too accepted you as my girlfriend. And no need to go anywhere , I myself am going to finish my work. You stay here with Niel as your health is not totally fine. So, Niel can also take care of you and if any problem comes he will tell me. Now, rest, don't think about this matter very deeply."
