Zura fell forward onto the top edge of the snakes mouth as a laugh rung out.
"Hehehehehe. Fooolisshhh innssseect. I coould ssssmelll your naivety theee moomeennt yyoouuu peeked a wiiinggg into mmyyy domaaiiinnnn."
The snake spoke aloud. His deep voice bounced off the walls of the large cavern making his slow drawn out words even more elongated.
"Lleeaarrnnn yyoouuurrr plaaaccce."
The snake opened its mouth and its tongue flickered out as it slowly wrapped around Zura's throat and began to lift him off its head and down to its mouth only to get stuck halfway as it realized that Zura's wings were still wrapped around its fangs.
The snake pulled harder, attempting to pry the bat loose however its wings wouldn't budge.
The snake was growing irritated, so it raised its tail as it prepared to whip the bat tender.
However, it never got the chance.
*Hhhaaaaaaaaaaaa*
A high pitched ringing echoed ferociously throughout the dungeon as a focused sonic blast shot through the mouth of the snake, shattering its throat, before traveling through the entirety of its body leaving behind guts and entrails that could no longer be recognized.
The snake could not even let out a hiss. Its vocal cords were shatter along with every other internal organ. Its strong vitality was the only thing keeping it alive, however that was temporary at best. Not if it could not escape. However, how could it. It could not even manipulate the surrounding energy at that moment. Its mind was barely hanging on and in the moment that Zura freed himself from the snakes clutches, he definitely caused damage to the very fabric of its being.
The snake was a spent force, only good for its life-essence.
However, Zura could not be ungrateful. He had to thank it.
Zura unfurled his wings from the snakes fangs as they fell into tiny shards of bone as he straightened his back on top of its mouth and turned.
{I really must thank you, Mr. Snake.} Zura spoke directly into the snakes mind as he walked up the snakes mouth to look it in its nearly lifeless eyes, that he did notice were a deep shade of green up, until that moment.
"You've really done me a great service on this day." He spoke aloud, as he raised his left foot and placed it onto the snakes forehead between its two eyes that shone like gems.
"Previously, I could not for the life of me figure out what I was missing from my being. It's the entire reason that I decided against advancing to tier 4 in that moment. I knew that there should be something I should comprehend before taking that step. Otherwise, I believed it would be like an incredibly strong adult with the mind of a child, thinking that it could play with the other children at the playground. Naturally, no one would have any fun, because the ignorant adult could not comprehend their own strength. Do you understand? I felt myself becoming more powerful than I could understand and few things are more dangerous to oneself or others than an individual wielding a power that they do not understand. It always backfires. But, thanks to you, that is no longer a problem."
Zura's body burst into flames as his wings spread wide and that dangling piece of snake tongue that was wrapped around his neck quickly turned to ash and vapor. His left foot pressed onto the snakes forehead as he bent fully forward, drew his wings back, and plunged his hands directly into the eyes of the snake and yet it still could not let out a single hiss nor writhe from the pain. Its muscles were torn to smithereens and the last of its consciousness was quickly drifting away. The flames disappeared, as if they were never there.
"Blood Drain" Zura spoke aloud, and what followed was the sight of blood slithering up the bats wings, over its bones, past its neck, into its mouth, before sliding over its fangs and down its throat.
