Ian woke up and found himself in a room. He still wasn't clear about what happened yesterday. He sat up and just as he sat up someone came in. The one who entered was isabelle: the so-called campus belle. He was still trying to process what happened. Isabelle then said "allow me to explain".

" So what you are trying to tell me is that whatever i saw back then is a demon and you are...?" "a shadowhunter" isabelle answered.
"This is sick" Ian muttered to himself. "Yeah it is. I mean, mundanes shouldn't be able to see us" Isabelle said. what mundanes? and who are "us"? Ian asked. "This is gonna be a lot to process" Isabelle said.
Isabelle continued. You see people like you are mundanes or humans in your terms and are not able to see us, shadowhunters without us willing it to be so. You can only see me because i want you to. This also include warlocks and witches, they can choose to make themselves invisible to humans. Wait.... warlocks?,witches? Ian cuts her speech. "Oh there are also vampires and werewolves" Isabelle continued. "CRAP" Ian said in his mind.
So where are we? Ian asked
Isabelle smiled and answered " we are in New york's institute of the shadow hunter dimension."
