Chapter 30 - Ilmen the techno-mage

Victor was driving around Tokyo's highways, as he admired the looks of the surroundings in his Cabrio, letting the hair flow on the air, as the breeze calmed him down when focused on the road.

"What a nice day." He said as his GPS system said a familiar phrase.

"By 200 meters, turn right, take sharp turn left and drive 1 kilometer." Victor sighed.

"On what kind of middle-of-nowhere do you live, Ilmen!?" He asks himself as he can't believe he lives so far off the city, but considering his weird passions, even for a demon…

As victor approached the estate and parked his car there, he approached Ilmen's mansion complex that was built for efficiency rather than looks.

As Victor got out of the Cabrio, closed the door, and shut the engine, he approached the doors, opening it, seeing Ilmen doing some weird stuff. Dressed in a lab coat, with a hoodie, and with his usual dark mask with some weird markings, he was actually… Dancing to Elvis Presley music.

"Ilmen.. You wanted to see me." Victor's direct and simple voice tone got right to Ilmen's ears, as he stopped, making a voice command useful.

"COMPUTER, SHUT DOWN MUSIC," Ilmen yelled in the air as the computer did as he asked.

<> The feminine synthetic voice said as he approached him and raised his right hand up, for a greet. When Victor was not having that, Ilmen waved it off.

"Eh, you are no fun. So formal. Always direct. And barely any talk." Ilmen said as he looked at him and smirked. "I got a gift for you."

Ilmen said as he made Victor go with him to the rooftop level, as he moved around the storage room.

"What is this?" Victor asks as he looks around, especially at some interesting prototype techs that Ilmen kept experimenting with.

"Technology I made with using purely physics and quantum physics. I decided to give myself a challenge and do some stuff with simple gears. I actually constructed the most powerful miniature computer.. 2056 Cubits. But the coolant system was not effective. It broke off the moment I put it to work. It's there." Ilmen said as he pointed to a big 5x5 cube that lays in the corner with many holes inside it.

"So you built a quantum computer? That's amazing. I mean humans would sure give you a lot of funding to refine the design.." Victor said as he approached the broken quantum cube and touched it.

"Nah. I don't want a race of primitive warmongers who do not know restraint to have so much computing power. Let them do it on their own." Ilmen said as he looked at Victor.

"You know, not all humans are warmongers," Victor said as he looked at him back and sat on the cube.

"I know." Ilmen said as he pulled out some paper mannequin and put it on the floor. Despite the way it looks, it is very heavy. "Summon your Revolution."

Victor blinked at such a quick request being made to him. "What?"

"You deaf?" Ilmen asked a bit upset. "Summon your Divine Armament and pierce the mannequin with it. Idiot."

"What will happen then?" Victor asked as directly as he can, and Ilmen got upset.

"DO YOU WANT THIS GIFT OR NOT!? PIERCE IT THROUGH!" Victor had an idea of what the mannequin does but he decided to trust Ilmen on this one.

'He never cheated on me before, why would he now? He always delivers cool gadgets that work exactly to specifications…' Victor thought as he nodded and jumped out of the cube, and said the word Ilmen wanted to hear.

"Revolution." Victor said in a deep voice as he summoned in the katana with a stripe of fur attached as a sort of a chain used to spin or hold it, the blade itself was short, specifically it was a short blade.

Victor thrust his sword inside the mannequin, which started to glow and change, as it got a grip on his sacred gear. Victor got scared as he could not pull it off.

"What have you done, Ilmen you moron!?" Victor asked and yelled at him as his blade was consumed and the clothing he wore when changing to armament mode, were vanishing, and when they did fully, a mannequin started to change.

"You would not believe it if I told you. It is made to allow Divine Armaments for permanent stay in the world. Mannequin is manifesting the weapon in a physical world. So you do not need to talk using the inner world."

He said as the gear shifter to present a body of a blonde female in a cowboy hat and the trench coat, with leather shirt and jeans. High heel leather boots were also included in her costume.

"R… Revolution?" Victor asks as he looks at the mannequin. When Revolution opens her eyes, she smiles and jumps into him.

"Victor, you dumbass... I never expected to see your world with my eyes." Armament said as she cuddled him tighter, making Ilmen smirk, and smile.

"Well, you two lovebirds have fun, unlimited time unless you want to wish her back as a blade. Just… One mannequin one stay and I got 50 total so do not hesitate to ask if you want something more than a dream experience." Ilmen said as he waved out his hand and closed the doors shut between them, but not using the key to do so.

"Ilmen, you…" Victor protests a bit as the blonde kisses him on his lips and plays around her tongue, making him blush harder as her voluptuous chest pushes against his chest.

"Mmmm.. Not happy to see me in your world~?" Revolution asks as she puts his head, playfully. "Dummy."

As they went down to the first floor, Ilmen already made them some tea in the kitchen, putting the cups on the table. "You want something to eat? You must be hungry, Victor."

Victor nodded. "Anything goes. You are in charge today." Ilmen nodded as he went to the kitchen and started cooking.

At the same time, the two partners started talking.

"So.. Ummm.. Revolution.. Where to start.." Victor is actually starting to crack his serious, direct persona, as he is under heavy pressure when trying to be on the initiative on the conversation.

"Hmm.. Maybe how about this.." Revolution said as she made her cleavage three buttons wider, making him blush. "How about we fuck? After the dinner?"

"I told you I am not… Convinced nor interested." Victor said in a cold voice, as she got annoyed.

"Seriously, Victor. Do I have to force myself on you? We are together for 50 years in an Armament-Wielder relationship. We trust each other. So why not get this a bit more closely?" Revolution asked as Ilmen laughed, hearing this.

"Never say no to a thirsty lady who asks for consent." Ilmen said this as he kept focusing on the cooking, hearing the talk.

"No.. If you will force yourself on me, I will seek ways to break a contract. I hate when women do that. In fact, this was the very reason I am a demon. At least one of them." Victor said as Ilmen stopped in shock, still moving his hands nearby the kitchen, as Revolution got surprised.

"Ou.. I was about to resist what you said but… Wait, a man? Raped?" Revolution's confusion was clear. She rubbed her neck back and tried to collect her thoughts.

"I will tell the entire story. It happened at my workplace, in the agency. Two times, I was raped by my supervisor against my will. Who cares she got huge boobs and ass. I was not into it, I did not give her consent… How I am supposed to trust any girl with more intimacy than necessary if this will probably happen again?" Victor asked with a cold yet a bit panicked tone as he looked into his armament's eyes.

"Ou… Sorry to hear that… And here I thought you are into men.." Revolution said as she looked him into the eyes.

"Revolution.. Why you did not search my memories when I permitted you numerous times to do so?" Victor asks her as she sighs.

"Because it is just wrong. Privacy is the last thing I want to invade in the soul space of my host." Revolution said with a sad tone, looking into her cup of tea, taking a sip.

"I trust you, with nearly everything, Revolution but… Some things take time to recover." Revolution changes her attention to Victor again as she noticed him let out a tear.

Revolution quickly got up and corrected her breasts as she got closer to him and cuddled him to her chest, patting his head as she cleared the tear off his eye. "There, there… I know humans usually remember wrongdoings longer than they do the happy moments… But try getting over it. I may not be able to change what happened.. But I can help you deal with it.. You just need to ask."

As he enjoyed the cuddle and slowly drifted away a bit, with his thoughts, Ilmen broke the silence and put the plates on the table.

"Enjoy the meal." Ilmen said as he put the fries, the burgers, cooked potatoes, not hammered one as they were still pieces, and few chicken cutlets.

"Thanks, Ilmen." Victor said as he began to eat, nodding to Revolution who began eating as well. Despite being an apparition, the mannequin created extremely accurately a replica of human organs, that will also allow the projections to eat and drink, without any issue. Food will be turned into mana sufficient enough to keep the divine armament around for 7 days.

"Ya welcome. Leviathan family makes the best of cooks." Ilmen said as he chuckled a bit as he looked at Victor's bit sad face. "First time seeing you showing any emotions besides anger or apathy."

Victor nodded. "Well.. Maybe it's because… Of the mannequin."

"Aaaaah." Ilmen smiled as he ate his burger, as Revolution ate her culet and Victor just eat the fries first. "I see. You finally have the environment where you can just let go of that mask, and rest emotionally right?"

"Yes." Victor said with a smile. "Thanks for that Ilmen. How much of these you can make?"

"Oh.. I could make 1 a day." Ilmen said as he finished the burger and went for the cutlet. "It is also a very difficult and work intense project. If I could have infrastructure I could mass-produce them but the difficulty isn't the manufacturing process. It's the ingredients." Ilmen said as he cut out a bite from the cutlet and eat it.

"So.. What are the requirements for mass production?" Revolution asks Ilmen as he looks at the both of them.

"One hundred human soul fragments made from the broken soul of a dead man, preferably a criminal. Mannequin, cursed ruby with the curse of mind which is hard to pull off at all to curse the item correctly… few herbs that only can be grown in their own environment.. I tried to replicate that in a lab, trust me, it doesn't work. " Ilmen explained as they looked at them shocked. "What? You wanted the details."

"Anyway.. Where do these plants grow?" Victor asked as he looked at the Leviathan family's greatest scientific mind's eyes.

"Hell, Leviathan Floor, Magica Island Complex. Naturally formed across hundreds of years of human belief into the divine nature of some plants they harvested and made en masse. You see. Hell is a natural reflection of human emotions and actions. Anger, hate, sloth… Lust, rage. Suffering even. War." Ilmen continued. "This specific side of Leviathan floor was made exactly from one rare emotion… Sloth. Laziness is not something you can extract effectively, it's the nature of this action and humans.. Are more productive than ever. If I want to recreate this much mana and turn it synthetically.. It takes time. The only part where a lot of Sloth-based Mana was collected, was there. And the plants are a side effect of that mana, being stored there. The plant is 1% of the magic but it using 10% of the mana in the soil." Ilmen said with a said voice as he finished up his cutlet. "And it is hard to create blank synthetic mana. Very hard."

"I see. So it's the natural limitation. Tried any replacements?" Victor asks as he returns to eating.

"Yes. Nothing worked as well. Nothing worked as expected. They even did not convert food for mana to the mannequin. The one I used to have her with us, can turn one meal into enough magical energy that could sustain here, for 14 days without excessive use of stamina or 7 days if she is forced to fight at full power by herself." Ilmen said as she nodded.

"So I can be as strong as I am with Victor if I will eat enough food?" Ilmen nodded as an answer to Revolution's question.

"All right. What was the real purpose of the mannequin." Revolution asked as she looked at Ilmen.

"It was to help you people with Divine Armaments to reach Rule Breaker as fast as possible. The success rate is 90%. 10% risk of death but if used again after you reached it, you can use it to train, talk, fuck… All the stuff you would do with a long-term friend." Ilmen explained as Victor looked at him weirdly when he mentioned that the armaments who possessed the mannequin can fuck.

"What? These mannequins replicate the organs of human bodies when they change into themselves. Obviously, they can fuck. Many girls and boys did it with their armaments before the Rule Breaker training… Because they could die trying achieving it." Ilmen said as the girl sighed.

"And because Victor already has the Rule Breaker immune.. Can he live?" Revolution asked him as she looked him in the eye.

"Yes. He can live freely as long as he will make his gear satisfied in 7 days. In fighting or fucking for example." Ilmen said as he smirked, making Victor nervous.

"Wait wait wait, you want me to fuck Revolution to not die?! That is a dick move, Ilmen!" Victor yelled at him, scared as his trauma is not healed.

"Sorry.. I just suggested one of the ways.. it depends on the armament's will at how they will define happiness." Ilmen explained as he tried to calm him down. "Sex is the easiest way." Ilmen smirked.

"You sneaky motherfucker." Victor said as he sighed. "All right, Revolution. Your choice?"

"Hmm.." The blonde girl thought for a second. "Sex ain't going to be an option. I do not want to force myself on you, Victor. How about… A training?"

"Training? Sounds good." Victor said as he answered her request, got up finishing his meal. "Thanks for the meal, Ilmen."

"Ya welcome." Ilmen smirked as he looked at the two who went to his garden and started training.
