Sakura laid down on the sofa as she looked at Anna and Maria, who decided to help her in Fulldiving. Sakura took a sip from the cup and kept reading one of her fav mangas.
As Hinata sat in the middle of the room, she was held by the shoulder by Anna and Maria, who are sitting in the middle of the living room at her home, exploring her memories, as the last session nearly drew her mad, and nearly led to rewriting of the memories.
The room itself was a perfect circle-like space with a huge shelf full of books and with a stand made out of one steel rod and one flat piece of steel. As Maria was checking the memories to explore, Anna decided on one.
"How about this one?" Anna asks Maria and looks into the memory when Hinata looks at them both, impatient.
"No, Anna.. Too gruesome and violent. Risk of a hostile takeover of Hinata's personality matrix is over 50% because of this memory." Maria said as she browsed her choice and smirked, as she made a quick glimpse into the future that holds ahead in this memory.
"All right, Hinata.. Here it is.. Probably the best memory I could find. At least the coolest and most badass. Risk of personality matrix rewrite is..10%." Maria said as she made Hinata come in.
"What is it?" She asks as she looks into the book that suddenly turns them all into observers and Hinata as a first-person observer., changing places with Kazuma's consciousness.
5 C-130, with 2 being AC-130 variants, approached one of the heavily fortified alien positions with railgun-based artillery and a giant space elevator around that needs to be taken care of and captured if possible. Kazuma's team consists of four Russian soldiers, six Polish soldiers, two British and seven Japanese soldiers, all are paratroopers. The polish ones are the members of the local National Army resistance group formed after the main force was conquered by the aliens, giving them hell when trying to even peacefully occupying the land.
As he was reading manga, one of the soldiers approached Kazuma and the team.
"Captain, the C-130 is in position for the drop. Waiting for your call." Soldier says as he looks into his eyes, closing the manga, letting out a sigh as he looks at the people under his command and looks around.
"Not gonna lie, we are going to die there. But if ti will give us an edge with this alien invasion force… We will take that elevator if possible. No easy way to transport good for them." Kazuma said as he looked at the soldiers. "You are going to fight for this world with everything you have. Your families will not suffer under the alien government. Understood?"
"SIR YES SIR!" The soldiers said as the C-130 was approaching the place. It was a station placed near the outskirts of Cracovia, one of the more important historical landmarks where the aliens decided to build their space elevator.
"JUMP, JUMP, JUMP!" Kazuma yells as he hits the red button nearby the cargo hatch and the soldiers move to the back of the plane when two cargo crew unzips the necessary gear like towed artillery, trucks, and drones.
"All clear!" Yells one of the soldiers as the drop of supplies was successful.
As they checked the parachute and put it on the back, the first to jump was Kazuma, who started the run by making a ready position. "LEEEROOOOOYYYY! JEEEEENKIIIINS!" Kazuma's yell, made the soldiers laugh as he rushed first and dived out of the transport craft 8000 meters above the city. Soon as more started to jump out, the aliens woke up their defenses and the AA railguns started firing, delivering terrifying firepower, that Kazuma and his crew barely made it out alive, as they had to make turns left and right to avoid being hit and the shockwaves of the rounds.
"Fuck, nobody told us about railgun AAs! Are they using rails in everything!?" Kazuma yelled as one of the soldiers responded.
"No, the intel was too sparse but they decided to go with it anyway." One of the Russians said as they released the parachutes and landed safely on the land, with teams splitting up, Kazuma taking two people from Japanese units and the resistance fighters as his guides.
"So, babe. Where now?" He asks as he approached one of the girls. Redhead, D-cup, but compensates with her big ass. Definitely in her late 30s.
"Follow me." She said as she loaded a mag into her beryl and moved out.
After some time passing, the team of 10 people was able to approach the railgun site quicker than the second team, who also got guidance from the resistance fighters who lived in the area.
"Here. You see it?" Asks the redhead, as she points at the pillars made out of concrete that receive extended graphene tubes into the orbit, sending stuff in and out, like an elevator.
"Yea. Never thought you can build space ev so far away from the center mass of the planet." Kazuma said as Cassie smirked.
"These fuckers build some stuff to make it stable. They say they use some satellites to keep it in one place, making constant repositioning every time our planet moves. Also, they got the position markers." Cassie says as she leads them to the nearby group of trees, before hiding.
"So which language do you want to talk in?" Kazuma asks as they approach an unsuspecting patrol of alien lizards.
"Violence. We speak violence here." She said as she moved through with others, as the guerillas wore simple green shorts and moro shirts.
As the team went through the forest, they went to the control panel, and to the monitoring site, where human collaborators worked. They spoke French.
"Damn French. Spineless." Cassie said as she threw the bodies of the camera guys, from the chairs and sat on the holo-computer, checking the cameras.
"You know how to use it?" Kazuma asks as he sits on the chair.
"I do. I was forced to do penal work as security. I had to watch camera feed and decided to toy around after I was trained by these lizards." Cassie says with hatred in her voice, as she
"Think it comes in handy." Kazuma said as he tried to read their alphabet and understand the symbols as Cassie looked around and checked the points they are going to take.
"So.. Why are you so angry about your fate then? This seems like a neat job." Kazuma said as Cassie got surprised as she heard it.
"I do not want to be a mother for aliens… I would be sent to breeding camps if I said no. Human women are used to breed new lizards, and despite them having their own females, they use us." Cassie said as Kazuma could not believe it.
"Anyway. Where now?" Kazuma asks as he looks at the feed.
"Here. Camera 23" Cassie says as she zooms in the feed on the specific camera. "This is the access to the power grid. We will shut down 80% of power, and make most of their tech not working."
"Hmm. And the elevator?" Kazuma asks as he looks at the footage. "We need it fully working.
"I know. I know. It got a separate power generator." Cassie said as she got up and checked the ammo in beryl and moved out. "Come, lazy ass. Or else I will make you."
"You know I make orders around right?" Kazuma asked as he yelled at her.
"And I do not fucking care. Orders are for brainless." Cassie says as she makes Kazuma disappointed and moves out with her, to the grid control.
As this memory continues, Maria noticed something.
"Anna, should her mana pool overlap with her previous life?" Maria asks when looking at her sister.
"No. I am genuinely worried about it. We break it out." Anna said as she looked at the memory and at Hinata who sat on one of the islands in her world.
"Hinata wake up. Wake up!" Anna yells at her and forcibly removes her from the memory using magic, saving her consciousness.
"Oh come on! Why now!? I was about to kick some alien ass!" Hinata asks as she looks at Anna, and gets angry.
"Remember that Full Diving requires you to fully synchronize with memories of the past." Anna explained.
"So what?" Hinata asks, with a bit angered voice.
"This can risk in memory override and make your old self become you, which would create psychological issues and at best case scenario a bipolar disorder. I saw many full divers who experienced their past and went down into madness despite the massive gain in power that is their Full Dive." Anna said as Hinata stopped being angry at her, understanding what she did.
"So you prevented me from developing something psychological.." Hinata commented.
"Yes. Anna removed you because you are very close to your last memories of your previous life." Maria said as she patted her head.
"Wait seriously? How did it end? Spoilers?" Maria and her sister chuckle when Hinata asks this question.
"I won't be spoiling you that." Anna said as she returned their consciousness to the real world
"Uff… That was a rollercoaster." Hinata said as she got up and picked up the clothes, going upstairs.
"Let me know if you somehow experience some weird things with yourself," Anna yelled out as Hinata went to the bathroom upstairs.
