Chapter 60 - 59 S+Li+P

Bav was wild with me in the shower, leaving me panting and nearly dropping from exhaustion. However, I was a very satisfied and smiling exhausted as he dried me off and laid me to bed. Crawling in with me, he held me close and cradled me like I was his greatest treasure imaginable.

....Bav POV....

I heard her when I was semi conscious and the wild men were there. How she could not lose me. I was not allowed to go where she could not follow. I was not to leave her. Oh how this woman fills me with so much love and passion and joy.... I feel so complete and she makes everything in my life perfect. I could not ask for a better mate, wife, or companion to spend my existence with.

I cradled her in my arms as she curled closer to me. My hand running down her stomach, thinking of the day I can make it swell with our child. How much she would glow from how happy we will be. The necklace her mother gave her is still on, and I take a closer look at it. I swear I've seen some of these markings before.... but where?

I drift off to sleep, trying to ponder where I have seen the markings.

I'm awoken by the most delightful feeling of a warm hot body on top of me. The little moans and movement of her body on top of mine told me all I needed to know.

"I know you're awake, your smile is a dead give away." Rakara's voice is like honey, sweet and thick with desire.

I open my eyes and stretch, thrusting up into her. "Well, I was just worried I was dreaming. If I was, I didn't want to stop now..." Grabbing her waist, I do some lazy thrusts up in her, slowly letting her regain control and move on top of me.

"Oh so now I feel like a dream?" She replies coyly, he head coming to press her lips on my neck as she kisses it.

"My love you are a dream come true." I wrap my arms around her and move her faster on top of me.

Sitting back up, she takes back over as my hand slides over her stomach.

I can't wait to see her stomach start to swell with child later. I already know she will be even more radiant than she already is. Of course we have to get married first to enjoy those days ahead of us.

"Something is on your mind... What is it?" She asks, not skipping a beat or slowing down.

"Let's get married right now. I want to wake up everyday like this." I smile, my heart filled with joy and desire for this goddess on top of me.

"Patience, it won't be much longer now." She whispers as her core begins to tighten.

"It's hard to be patient, especially when I want to fill you up with our children and see how you glow with a swelled belly as I make love to you." I watch her eyes shift into lidded pools of desire as her mouth begins to make an o shape, when a moan escapes her.

"I think you like that thought too..." I remark, holding her body on me as she rides out her orgasm on top of me. Flipping her over on her back, I make love to her until she's a shuddering shaking pool of pleasure under me, and my seed plastered in the sheets.

I carry her to the shower and we both clean each other, before we are out, I'm taking her again.

"I don't know how I will ever get any work done once we're married." I smirk as we get dressed, my cock already twitching to get inside her again.

Kara looks over at me and smirks, "I do. I will tell you no, not until you've finished your work then."

My jaw drops slightly, making me whisper, "Yes, teacher. I'll have my assignments done on time." As I come up behind her, to help her pin her hair up and give her my lustful gaze through the mirror. Her cheeks flame and she clears her throat.

"I must get going, I need to stop at the officials office to give my statement."

I shake my head, "No you don't. Your statement has been given. That's what I told you last night." IF he attempts to contact you or show up at your work, call me and I will handle it. My abilities can not be shared with others. The few who know about it in your government are the only ones who need to know. It was made imperative to me, that it remain sequestered from public knowledge. That was the only story that we could devise that was even close to plausible and benefited the guards family as well. Now, I know you are well aware of this, but you must be surreptitious about what went on and stick to the story if you are asked." I reiterate the importance to her and she gives me an annoyed look, which I try to soothe over by placing kisses on her neck.

"Bav.." She moans as her hair begins to stand on end from my warm breath on her skin.

I look up innocently at her in the mirror, "Yes?" I croon to her.

She's so adorable when she pouts. Her lips are puckered thin, with her right eyebrow cocked in annoyance at me, even though her lips twitch trying to hold back her smile.

"Cute, Bav.. We both know that innocent act is just an act." She crosses her arm and smiles as I scoff in mock offense. But before I can defend myself she cuts me off.

"Now, can you please help me get back to the shop before my staff show up?"

I snap us to her apartment above the shop and give her some kisses. "I'll see you for tea then?" I ask her.

She smiles and nods, "Yes, if I am not here, I will be at the new shop." I kiss her one more time, softly feeling those lips that take my breath away and my heart skip beats.

"I'll see you at tea time." I say as I let go of her and snap myself back home.

I never want to leave her side, but she has to work and so do I. I gather my papers I had left on the desk and put them into my briefcase as Viekar knocks on the door.

"Come in, Viekar!" I answer his knock.

"Ah, Good morning Master Bavarthos. Mother made us some egg and bacon croissants for when we get to the office. Um.... You think we should wrap your shoulder and make it look more convincing that you're still healing? Just in case that official tries to come by?" Viekar suggests tentatively.

Sighing I grumble, "You're correct.... Damn it. Go grab the gauze then." I unbutton my shirt and let Viekar wrap my shoulder up to make it obvious it's wrapped before redressing myself.

"Shall we?" Viekar opens the door as I put on my coat and see he's already taken the briefcase.

As we walk past the gardens to the gate I instruct Viekar, "Have some flowers sent to Rakara please. Some of the Irises and daffodils. Just on the note have them write, 'because it's Wednesday.' Yes, I think that will do."

Viekar smiles at me, "Yes, Master Bavarthos." His grin covers the majority of his face.

"What in the devil has you smiling like that?" I ask him, curious.

"Nothing." He quickly retorts.

"Viekar, I call your bluff." Because he knows I know him better.

Viekar clears his throat, "You dote on Ms Langridge in such a way that it makes my heart swoon for you, Master Bavarthos." He chuckles and upon seeing my face bursts out laughing.

My blank expression says it all but I still have to ask, "Come again?" Which only has Viekar laughing harder. "Sorry, Viekar. My heart is already so inclined to Ms. Langridge."

Viekar wipes a tear away, "I know Master Bavarthos, you're not my type anyways."

I bump his shoulder with mine and laugh with him as we head towards the office.

Upon our arrival, my secretary is there fuming as he works. "What in the elements is wrong with you, David?" He's normally callous in a droll sort of way, but he seems to be seething that smoke should be ready to pour from his ears.

"Yesterday, a woman called looking for Viekar who was not here and called me a shit faced secretary! She ordered me over the phone like I was a child! IF it hadn't been for the fact she was calling to say you were injured, I would have given her a piece of my mind!" David slaps his desk in frustration and I look at Viekar who has a brow raised in irritation at David.

I give Viekar a pointed look who nods. It was Rakara who had called.

"David, come with me into my office please." I ask him and take my briefcase from Viekar and walk in and take my seat.

"Shut the door too." I instruct as he walks in.

"Mr. Fairchild, I'm sorry sir for losing my cool. I don't deserve to be degraded like that over the phone.

"David, while you are correct about that, I need to inform you of who that was."

David takes a seat and waits.

"That was Ms. Rakara Langridge. My fiance. It was a highly stressful situation as we had been shot at and I was in surgery for being shot. Now, I hope you can let this go as she's going to be my wife and I demand a certain amount of respect be shown to her."

"I understand, Mr. Fairchild." David looks down like he's been wronged.

"You are exceptional at your job David, don't let your emotions control you so easily, no matter the situation. You'll find that your health will be better if you do. I worry about your blood pressure some days." I speak honestly. His anger would cause him to have a stroke one of these days.

"Yes, Mr. Fairchild." David had taken a few breaths and still looked annoyed but he seemed to be trying.

"You may go back to work, David. Thank you." I dismiss him and he leaves the office only for his head to pop back in the door.

"A Mr. Thorn is here. He wishes to speak to you." He states looking irritated again.

Sighing, I put on a pleasant smile and wave for him to let him in.

"Mr Thorn. To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit to?" I ask as he comes in and takes a seat.

"Mr. Fairchild I know you are a busy man so I'll keep this short. My wife mentioned how Ms. Langridge said that you might know of a better treatment for my wife and her illness. IS this true?"

"Yes, it is true. I had some of those things sent to me for her. Now why did you come to me to speak about it?" I ask him.

He looks scared, but steadies his himself, "She's been getting worse lately and I am afraid I am going to lose my wife." He wipes his brow with a handkerchief. "She can hardly move to use a chamber pot and she swollen like soggy roll. I'm afraid to touch her, she's in so much pain."

I cut him off.

"VIEKAR!" I shout out who comes running into the room.

"Yes, Mr. Fairchild?" Viekar asks startled and confused.

"Please bring me the box of medical goods that I asked for. Make haste please." Viekar nods and runs out of the room.

"Ms. Langridge would have taken them to her after I had given them to her this afternoon, I'm sure. Now, I've had Viekar label the containers and write the instructions down for you. They are written in another language on the containers so try to not lose the labels. They are from the place called Earth. I can not stress enough to follow the directions correctly for them to be effective." I turn to Mr. Thorn, who seems to have tears in his eyes.

"Thank you Mr Fairchild, you have no idea how much this means to me. I've thought I would lose her so many times over the past few years. I am not sure I would be able to handle it if I did." He says this sincerely.

Viekar brings in the box and hands it over with a sheet of the instructions.

"No need to thank me, Mr. Langridge. Ms. Langridge has come to adore your wife. Make sure you give her the ones marked water pills first, it sounds like she needs those the most right now. I hope that these will help her get better." I smile and he stands up nodding.

"Thank you, I don't know how to repay you."

"Go take care of your wife, Mr. Thorn." I dismiss him, knowing that his wife's health was in need of those medications.

He did just that and I smirked once he was gone. He slipped, he answered to Mr. Langridge without even batting an eyelash....
