Chapter 41 Pure Yang Sun Flame
"How dare you?!" A loud shout Sounded throughout the whole cavern. Soon after that, an old man came to the place where the container was.
The container was intact as if nobody had touched it but all the spirit crystals were gone.
His eyes turned red. He then turned to the other 4 and said," How long are you going to act like you have fallen unconscious?"
Surprisingly, the 4 guards who were knocked unconscious by the cashier stood up.
They started off their clothes and said," Wait for a few moments old man. We would like to sell our act so that the guy can believe we have been knocked out."
"Hmph, because of that act, you let him get away. We have gotten an order from the young master that anybody who comes to know of the spirit crystals shall not live anymore!"
The guard who was in the lead days," Old man, don't worry. While you are a Martial Lord, your are just an outer elder who got to this level using pills, while we are three Shadow guards who are assigned to protect young master Roger and old sir Reginald. So don't try to force us."
The old man gritted his teeth. He thought in this kind,' These shadow guards are all so arrogant! Hmph, they are also not so high standing. That's why they are sent here to such a remote place and they act like they are on top of the world!'
The leading guard said," Now, let's dispersed. We would like to see who had the courage to plunder from the Wade family."
The other 3 guards went in their separate directions. The leading guard turned to the elder and said,"You, take another route and try to intercept him. You are a Martial Lord and have greater speed than us. Make sure to complete the task thoroughly or else I'll see to it that you are expelled from the family."
The old man gritted his teeth and went away. He thought about the consequences of being expelled from the family and shivered.
The leading guard saw that all the others went away and also took off in another direction.

Meanwhile, in one of the cavern systems, Xavier who was running along, saw everything which happened through Sam's eyes.
He smirked,' To think that they are the shadow guards of the Wade family! I heard from Sam that they were the first assignee to protect important family members.'
'And it seems that Roger and Reginald's position in the Wade family are not as low as I thought. They are here for something else and this spirit stone mine was just a bonus.'
Xavier was running through the cavern when he heard a whooshing sounds from behind him.
He turned around and saw that a shadow guards was coming his way. Xavier had his invisible cloak on but he then heard the man saying," Don't even bother to try to get away from me. We have already planned a contingency plan for that cloak you wear, so that you can't escape no matter what happens."
Xavier was surprised. He didn't think that they would have a contingency against this as well.
Seemingly reading his mind, the man said," Don't be surprised. Someone had already eliminated the Blood Mercenaries and we saw the surveillance footage. We could see that you can disappear and hence we came up with this plan to make you visible."
Xavier had already expected this. After all, someone who could go invisible with the help of a cloak would be hard to catch on to and the Wade family was not foolish enough to not make a contingency plan for this again.
He checked his body and found it that her had been marked with something in his body itself. So it didn't matter if Xavier could change cloaks, he would still be found out. So he didn't bother doing it.
'The only fortunate thing was that this marker didn't track me, so as long as I can shake this guy Off my tail, I can technically escape.' Xavier thought.
He then turned around and the a ball at the man who was following him. The man saw this and dodged sideways but the ball, which was just about to pass him, exploded and sit out a energy net which caught him and pinned him to the cave was.
" Bye bye bitch." Xavier said as she said off.
The net, which had trapped the man some and a crippling electric shock surged through the man, making him convulse. The guard was a high level Grandmaster and cachers had set the net in such a war that he would be paralysed fur at least 2 hours after the net's effects wore off.

Meanwhile, Xavier made his way to the end of the cave and was at a crossroads.
Just as he was about to enter the left one, 2 shadows came flying out and attached Xavier.
They were the 2 other share guards who were guarding the spirit crystals. They were also high level Grandmasters.
Caught by surprise, Xavier couldn't do anything before he was kicked away by the both of them.
He felt a bone crushing pain in his chest. This was the first time he had faced elite grandmaster level cultivators and finally he knew how powerful they were.
The 2 guards, not giving Xavier time to recover, advanced forward to fight him. Xavier quickly reacted and took out the sword he had stolen from the guard. He then slashed at the guards with it creating a arc of high pressure air slashing towards them.
The 2 shadow guards didn't take this attack seriously but when it such them, it was like a real sword had such them.
In addition to this cutting power, there was something strange in that arc, it was a special form of qi, like every attach had the smoldering Sun within them.
This attack landed on then directly as they didn't make any attempt to dodge. The wave, increased of attaching them and dissipating, exploded into a pool of flames and pushed back the guards.
The flame again didn't dissipate, instead they coalesced onto the 2 guards turning them into burning people and scorched then from the outside in.
Their armours melted and their skin was getting singed.
This was one if his new abilities.
Xavier who was seeing all of this thought in his mind,' Hmph, I didn't go through all that torture to get the inheritance for nothing afterall.'
'Initially, just after i had gotten the inheritance, I only thought that my libido increased by after advance try the Martial Master stage, the true insurance was unlocked.'

It was a pagoda, a golden pagoda with 9 layers. At the front of each layer was a golden dragon's head and three entrance into the pagoda was through the mouth of the dragon.
Inside the pagoda was an empty room which was supported with numerous pillar each engraved with a golden dragon which seemed to be alive and flowing along the pillars.
Xavier got access to the 1st layer of the pagoda due to teaching the Martial Master level and inside it was an urn which had a flame.
This flame, like the dragon, was also golden in colour. It burned brightly like the sun in the noon sky and was blisteringly hot.
This was the flame which was given to him by the inheritance, the flame if the Golden Yang Dragon Emperor, the Pure Yang Sun Flame.
It was the reward for the 1st level of the pagoda and Xavier so had nine more levels to unlock.
And from the memories in the inheritance, Xavier also got to know the stage of cultivation after the Martial King stage.
So the stages of cultivation he knew were
Martial Master
Martial Grandmaster
Martial Lord
Martial General
Martial King
Martial Emperor
Martial Monarch
Martial Sovereign.
There were other fragments of memories but the system didn't allow Xavier to take a look at them, telling that he needed higher levels of cultivation to access them.
The Pure Yang Sun Flame was the thing which was burning the shadow guards.
The guards tried to take away their armours and escape but Xavier at the same time, threw out the balls which shot out nets and entangled and paralysed them.
Paralysed and burning, it was just a matter of time before they would die. So Xavier, not waiting for their eventual end, went ahead leaving behind the harrowing screams of the 2 shadow guards who were being burnt alive.
