(Author : I thought of making another chapter about this exams bit felt like there were too many of those and if like to move on a little quicker to saying action stuff so I'll be just skimming over this.)
Xavier and the other 3 students were given 1 while day to work but considering the fact that they were creating their own weapons they would need atleast that amount of time of not more.
They soon got to work and after a day of tireless work, the for barely finished their weapons.
Josh, who was the first to complete the task, created a shield. Of anything which one could create, a shield was the easiest as it had the largest amount of material to work with but at the same time it also might be the hardest as there were so many options that some people might get lost. He created a circular shirk similar to the ones which Captian America, that famous hero character of the America Sector had.
The shield was not only for defense but he also put on repulsors which could resist back and attack equivalent to a 7th level foundation stage attack and could defend upto the 9th level attacks. As soon as he finished building the shield, he took the battle royale which had bots of strength which were of the 7th stage in strength and came out on top in 57 minutes.
The next to finish was Richard. He made combat gloves and boots wich had only one purpose, to endurance his strength. They enhanced his strength by atleast 3 times making it equivalent to a 8th level foundation stage. This was a pretty good invention. He took the battle royale and had a good chance to win but because he had seen Xavier come back alive, he was a little flustered from Xavier's glare at him when he was in the match and got eliminated just before he could finish off the last 10 robots.
The 3rd one was Julia. She created a beautiful long sword which was like it came from a Tron Movie. It was pitch black in colour with blue lines going all across it. It had the ability to cut through a shield which could block an attach of 9th level foundation stage with ease but feel a little short of cutting a Martial Master level shield. In the battle royale, because she was from a combat oriented family, when though she was a mechanic, she still had good combat skills and just ran through the robots and cleared them in 42 minutes.
The last one, Xavier created a broad sword gun. It was a broad sword but it's middle opened up to form a gun and this could be used to cut through level 8 shield and sit6 through the same as well. This made his weapon more compatible with both melee and ranged combat and because of his strong physique, he managed to clear the test in 46 minutes without showing that he had already advanced to Martial Master stage.
Professor Luka looked at the 4 of them and said," The two who have passed are Julia who had the fastest time and also Xavier who had the 2nd fastest time."
"And I have got a big surprise for you when you come back here tomorrow. You'll meet the Vice Deans and they will explain you the reason why they are sending freshmen this time. When you hear the reason, you'll be very surprised."
"Now you can go do whatever you want. Julia and Xavier, front forget to come here tomorrow sat the same time."
Julia and Xavier nodded and were a little curious about why they were supposed to meet the Vice Deans tomorrow.
Xavier looked at Julia and smiled. Julia returned the smile and nodded. Josh who was looking at noted as he already was said farewell to Xavier and Julia and went away.
Richard on the other hand was very frustrated. He had a very dark look on his face. He was very nervous and he had fumbled the test. His brother had told him that this was a very good opportunity for him but because he was a little thrown off by Xavier's return that he failed his expectations. Not wanting to fatally here another second he went away.
But before he could go away, chachee like at him and whispered in a low voice," Sam the spy, 5 of you go and get me all the information about what they are planning on doing. After I get the information I'll give you further instructions but for now spy on Richard, his brother Roger and the Vice Dean Reginald Wade."
Sam the spy was the best thing it had for spying on people. Sam had the ability to transmit any information it was seeing and listening to directly into his mind and had the ability to escape from the sense of others took the Martial King level for now so he was basically undetectable for all means and purposes.
But the one disadvantage of Sam the spy is that Xavier had to be in direct contact with the person on whom it has to spy on and then using that person as a medium, it could send spies onto others.
"Yes master." a feminine voice was heard in Xavier's head. This was Sam. Apparently he could set Sam's voice to anything he wanted and he chose a lady's voice for it.
A moment later Xavier could see Xavier walking in the hallways of the academy and he seemed to be rushing somewhere.
He went out of the academy and made his way to the suburbs where he found a mansion which was located in a discreet compound.
This was the mansion of the Blood Mercenaries. He has come here to inform his brother about Xavier coming back alive but he remembered that the mercenaries were on mission and Roger was cultivating so he decided to wait.
After waiting the whole afternoon, the doors of the villa opened and a young man with a handsome face which resembled Richard's face came in.
Richard, who was nervously waiting stood up and said," Brother, that Xavier, he came back."
Roger looked at Richard with a cold expression but soon his face turned emotionless and said," I know. I don't need you to bring me news which is already a day old. I got to know he came back even before you saw him."
Hearing this come emotionless voice, Richard winced in fear. Roger didn't do anything, he came and sat down on the main sofa in the living room and waited for the mercenaries to arrive.
At night, a clamour spread through the mansion and a group of 16 people arrived. This group consisted of birth men and women and of different ages and temperament. The one leading then was Sheila who was wearing a blood red armpits suit and entered the room first.
She was initially surprised by seeing Roger waiting in the hall but soon recovered her calm and sat down beside him.
The Blood Mercenary group which was following her also were a bit surprised. They came near the centre of the living room and said in a straight line.
Roger looked at all of them and said in a cold voice," The mission assigned to you had gained."
Sheila, who was sitting beside Roger looked surprised but regained compare eye next moment.
When they heard the chill in Roger's voice, the Mercenary group trembled. The had seen their young master this angry before and everyone, the subject of that anger didn't come out very well. Now that they were the subject of such rage, they couldn't help but since a little when they remembers the gates of those who had heard the same voice before.
"What happened to the 5 Morris brothers? Have they returned?" asked Roger turning his eyes to Sheila.
"No, we last were able to contact them was when they were just outside the city inthe first. The deeper they went, the lesser we could teack them and we lost contact with them a few minutes later." said Sheila.
"Hmm, today the target Xavier came back but the one who was chased with him, his girlfriend didn't come back. It was that she is either dead or she is hiding somewhere."
Roger turned to Richard and asked," How was Xavier? Was he sad or flustered or angry or anything which showed emotional instability from his side?"
Richard shook his head and said," There was no such emotions in his eyes. In fact he was looking normal or rather is say he was happier than usual. It was like he was a changed man and looked different."
Roger nodded. " It looks like she is alive and is hiding somewhere. And seeing that the Morris brothers aren't in contact with us after so many days, we can assume that they have met their end."
He turned and looked at the Blood Mercenaries. If the remaining 15, there were 5 peak Martial Masters, 5 initial level Grandmaster, 3 middle level Grandmasters and 2 high level Grandmasters.
Including the 5 Morris brothers, there were 20 people in this Blood Mercenary group. Of these 20 people most were independent Mercenaries who were under striving for their lives and Roger saw their talents and took them in for training then making them a part of his own mercenary group.
And for the lesser of such a group where reach one them was a hot blooded mercenary who had all been top dogs in their own groups, to control them, Roger had a leader for them. That was Sheila. She was a peak Grandmaster and the strongest warrior in Roger's entourage. At first they were a little rebellious but when he beat them and blew their asses open literally, three had no choice but to obey.
"Now that we have lost 5 of our heros people, we will have revenge. Sheila, send someone to track Xavier and see for his movements. I know that his girlfriend has her home in the suburbs and if she is still alive, he will visit her place where she would be hiding. I want the Blood Mercenaries to follow him and end him. I don't want any failure in this mission tonight or else you know the consequences!"
