Karra is holding the ball and she's wearing a P.E uniform. She is currently standing inside the court and didn't even take a blink while staring at West. She'll never let him, this freak. This man is obsessed with winning so she will make sure she'll give him a good beating. She started dribbling the ball, she heard the sounds as if it touched the ground.
"Go, karra yoooo!" She heard Angeline cheered from the bench, she smiled.
"Smile now, cry later." She heard West say and smirk, wow?!
"Overconfident huh?" She mocks.
"Let's make a deal for this game, if I win don't bother me anymore." She added.
"K." He answered.
"How about you?" She asked.
"Secret…" He smiled playfully, which made Karra more irritated.
"Okay, just like we discussed. If I score two times in a one row, the game is over. Let's start the game…"
She started to dribble the ball fast, she looked at him and his every move. She passed the back and forth into his hand while trying to take a move. West is guarding her so tightly, she runs while dribbling to the left side of the court but as expected West follows her.
The students are watching them carefully, even the other members of West's team. They are here because they're curious about this girl West is interested in but laugh because they know she'll never win against West.
Using her shoulder she tried to push West, they're skin touched and she was surprised that it seems West was startled about what she did. She takes the chance and then stands straight and tries to shoot the ball. She was from the line of the three pointers, it was like the earth slowly runs into its orbit. She watches the ball enter the ring flawlessly, she smiles.
It's three points.
"Woah!" The other members of the west team said, and can't help but to be amazed. This is the first time someone scored against one on one in the west and took the first point.
"One shot left." She reminds the west, and then smirks.
No one's notice but West's ear was blushing, it's not because this usually happens that was the cause of heat but because he felt her skin. Damn!
It's West's turn to hold the ball, Karra is guarding him tightly too. But the thing is he seems to be avoiding her intentionally, what's wrong with this person?! Every time Karra approached him, she's like a disease that needed to be avoided. Koa tried to steal the ball with his hand but she can't because he is more alert and attentive. He faked to shoot but Koa didn't fall from that trap instead she's looking forward to it. He was about to dribble the ball again but then from the bottom she tapped the ball as hard as she could, and because of that West let the ball go.
The ball flew upwards which Karra immediately caught, she started to dribble the ball and then ran into the under ring and took her shot.
She wins…
She heard the crowds scream, she looked at West and then smiled at him genuinely.
"Please, don't bother me anymore."
"And my twin!" She warned, Angeline instantly ran into her and hugged her.
"Omg! You defeat him!" Ecstatically Angeline yelled.
"I can't believe it!"
Instead of feeling upset, West felt extremely excited. He can't help but grin, as expected she's a worthy opponent.
Weekend and Koa are holding Kalish's tiny hand as she is waiting for Zale to come. Like what they discuss, she will need to date him every weekend to make her fall in love according to the game rules and regulations.
But the thing is she promised to Kalish that she'll bring her to the amusement park after she recovers from her flu. She can't break that promise. That's why in exchange for keeping the President's weakness she requested to date him with Kalish today. It's a win and win situation, but the thing is she didn't promise to him not to use his weakness. She just needs to keep it…
The car parked in front of them and then she saw the window open, Zale was in the driver seat. For the first time she saw him wearing some simple clothes, he's wearing a black plain t-shirt but even though he's wearing some shirt she can foresee his muscular body. Damn!
Zale went out from his sports' car, he's also wearing faded jeans and black boots. To her surprise Kalish runs into him and hugs his feet, she immediately follows her but Zale picks her up and carefully carries her.
"Hello baby girl, how are you?" The President asks, Kalish smiles at him.
"I am fine, are you my sister boypewn?" Koa blinks a few times because of what Kalish said.
"Yes, I am." And then the President looked at her and smiled.
"You're kalish right?"
"Oh, you know my name!" Kalish said with a high tone of excitement in her voice and she chuckled
"Yes of course, I am your sister's boyfriend at all. My name is Zale by the way." Koa silently rolled her eyes when she heard the word boyfriend when in fact it's not, she looks at Zale and then widens her eyes as if he's saying to stop lying. She opens the backseat and Zale carefully brings Kalish in, Koa didn't know that he has this soft side huh? She takes a seat besides og Kalish who's excited while swinging her legs as she sits, Koa notice something
In the front seat.
"It's a lunch pack, some cookies and drinks. In case Kalish will be hungry then we have food already."
"Why there's many of them?"
"I didn't know what she wanted, that's why, you? What do you want, I'll buy anything."
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine."
"Good…" Zale started the engine, the car began to mobilize. As the car ran, Kalish began to be more cheerful. She asks random questions to Zale and Koa, Koa explains everything to her so as Zale carefully.
"Can you play some music Mester Jabir, pleatttttttt" Kalish ask adorably to Zale and use her sparkling eyes like a cute puppy, well yesterday at the evening Koa teach her to call the president by Mr. Javier so she knows how to address him. Zale smiles, and this time without any hint of fakeness or anything. It was a genuine smile…
"Sure, sweetheart. But first call me Brother Hmmm?" Kalish claps her hands and nods.
"Thank you brader…" Kalish giggles, Koa can't help but to wonder why Kalish is already comfortable with her evil boss? Did he do something good or nice to her?
She leaned her lips on Kalish's ear and then whispered something.
"Did you already meet him, why are you so nice to him?" She asked.
"It's because he treats your wound when you sleep, I saw it. He cares about you…" Kalish whispered back, Koa laughed. Sometimes she doesn't know if she is talking to a child because Kalish seems mature in her age. Maybe because of young age, she already experienced how hard life is. She can already speak sometimes straight because Kian taught her some words and how to pronounce them correctly, but there's sometimes words she can't really speak right.
Zale knitted his forehead and got curious about what the two siblings were whispering about. She heard Koa's laughs, he bit his lower lips because it's his first time hearing those and it's like the laughs of an angel. It's not because she laughs elegantly or whatsoever, but it's because it's pure and untainted laughs.
"Aherm…" He obviously intentionally cleared his throat to caught the attention of two of them, he played music of the stereo. He changes stations to find a suitable song for Kalish, after that he looks at her.
"Would you like some cookies?" He asked, Kalish nodded while smiling shyly, he was about to reach the things beside him when Koa stood up.
"No, just drive. I can get some for her…" She said and reached the boxes inside the massive paper bag in front. Basically she's now bending her body, from the rear view mirror Zale could see her shape. He gripped the steering wheel and tried to focus on driving. He could even see cleavage,he tried his best not to look at it and put his attention on the road.
"Gotchaa."
Zale felt a relieve, jesus christ she's a torture. He never felt so tempted before, she was like a forbidden fruit. Hard to resist! He felt his throat dry,and he couldn't count how many times he clenched his jaw.
Of course Koa knows that the president is stealing glances at her and preventing himself from touching her, she can't help but to smirk. She appreciates how he carefully chooses the music that is suitable for Kalish, she didn't know that he has this kind of side even if it's fake or not. She opens up the box of cookies and then gives it to Kalish.
"Don't eat too much, or you'll not enjoy the park." She warned, and Kalish nodded with two circle cookies both of her hands.
"So, what should we say if we received something?" Koa said, Kalish already picked what she meant and looked at the rear view mirror.
"Thank you for a gif Mester Jab— brader." Then she takes a bow.
"No problem…" Zale responded.
There is some heavy traffic, so they can hear the sirens of different vehicles. From the inside Koa can already feel the heat by just looking outside, she could see the visible fragments of heat in the air. As the stereo continued to play, a song came and Kalish started to sing along with that song.
"How did you know this song?" She asks, as if she's already a grown up lady.
"It's godmother's Elaine faborit, dats huway."
"Ahh…" Koa nodded as she continued to listen to the lyrics, it's okay. No foul words or something, it's good. Kalish even swings her head as she sings out of tune. Kalish offers her some cookies, and makes Koa open her mouth.
"You want to give me some? Thank youu…" She said as she accepted the cookies in her mouth and kissed Kalish cheeks as a token of gratitude.
"Welcome!" Kalish adorably said with a high pitched of her voice. Zale is just observing the two of them, he watches Kalish stand up from seating and then approach him. Koa immediately supported her.
"You too Mr. Jabroder, you too." She cheerfully asks, so Zale opens his mouth and also accepts the cookie.
"Thank you."
The rest of the ride to the park is all about how cheerfully Kalish is, endlessly of talkings and explaining.
They arrived at the park, Kalish became more excited and screamed loudly as they entered.
"You can send me the bill Mr. Javier, I could pay for our fees. I mean, you have already done so much for us today." She said, because he is the one who pay their entrance fees.
"Is this because you don't want to own anything from me?" He asks straightforwardly and Koa immediately wags her head.
"No, I mean. Yes, I don't want to owe you something but I am genuinely asking because you already spend time with us. And you brought some cookies that my sister loves, it's just you know you wanna return the favor."
"Good, but no. I am here because I ask you to be here. I am the one who asked you for a date. Yes, it's great that you can pay for your own bills, it's sexy. But no, I will not send you the bill."
"Okay, understandable. Thank you…" She said, and didn't try to insist anymore. Because it would be endless conversation, it doesn't matter who would pay or not because at the end of the day if you are not comfortable with each other you'll never work out.
