A sound of heels in the ground echoes in the whole area as a woman walks with full of confidence, she's dazzling with her white business suit, five inches white stiletto and sunglasses. Every employee bowed down their head as she walked by, the Devil in the white is on her way.
The cousin of Zale, Zenaida Javier. A woman who seems so innocent but the most cunning of all. The Vice president of Javier Company, she opens the elevator and presses the floor where Zale's office is.
Koa immediately approaches the woman who entered the president office, and she instantly recognizes her. She takes a bow to pay respect, and smiles.
"Good morning Ms. Javier, the president is inside." Zenaida pulls out her sunglasses and looks at Koa from head to toe. Koa felt like every piece of her was analyzed, their eyes met and the way she looked was like she's foreseeing her soul and her whole personality.
"It's you, you're not bad at all. Do you already sleep with my cousin?" She ask straightforwardly, she didn't swayed at all. Koa remains composed and collected.
"No, and that will never happen." She answers with full determination in her eyes, Zenaida reads her more if Koa is lying but she's not.
"I see, then please can you give me some tea?" Koa nodded.
"Right away."
Zenaida sets her foot on Zale's office and walks around like she owns the place, she looks around.
"Mmmm nothing changes." She said, and then took a seat comfortably.
"How are you?" She ask Zale, he's wasn't giving her any attention at all. He just ignores her like she's invincible, she laughs. Seems like he didn't change too.
"Aren't you going to ask how's my trip?" She said, Zale fixed his glasses as it was a little bit uneven using his middle finger. Zenaida laughs because she knows that he's telling her to shut up.
"Seems like your skills on seducing are already getting rusty, Mmmmm you're losing huh?" Zenaida teases, Zale stops what he is doing and looks at her.
"I'm not."
"Oh? Really? It seems like you're falling in love with her."
"Don't be silly, you know I'm not capable of falling in love." It's true, she knows that he will always be an empty can that will never be filled. Since his mother died, he became a monster, he never felt love before. He was left alone, his heart full of hatred and fears.
"You can't say that, you're still human being though. Anyway, I'm just here because I miss you." Zenaida smiled sweetly.
"Tsk." And gently shook his head. He can't ask what she wants because Zenaida has her own money, aside from being a vice president of the company. She's a model, endorsers, she graduated being a top notch doctor on the field medicine. She was first offered the position of president of the company but she declined thinking that she needed to sacrifice her passion for medicine to focus on the business.
They heard the door knock, it was Koa asking permission to enter.
"It's open." Zale said, an open wide Koa appeared holding a tray in her hand. She walked inside the office and put the tea on the table in front of the couch where Zenaida was sitting.
"Thanks." She said, and smiled at Koa.
As Koa went back to her table, she took a deep breath. Ms. Javier seems so nice but she feels so intimidated by her. She screams full of authority and confidence, aside from that she's stunning. Even the mountain will kneel on her beauty, she's like a goddess to be honest. How can that woman be a human being? Her skin is white as snow, she didn't have pores?
"By the way, family party on Saturday. He says, ``Go home with Koa."
"I'm busy."
"I am too, but still I am here talking to you. Anyway, you don't want to miss this." Zenaida says and sips her tea elegantly. She didn't stay longer, she bid a goodbye and vanished.
Zane notice that his cup was already empty, he was about to call Koa when he heard a knock on his door and Koa enter.
"Coffee Mr. President." She said he wasn't surprised at all because it seems Koa already knew when or what time he asked for his coffee. She carefully walked towards his table and placed the cup gently.
"Is there anything you want Sir?" She asks as she puts the tray down.
"Nothing." He answered, she already prepared anything, that's why he doesn't have anything to ask.
"Then I'll excuse myself." She walks out to the office, and hafts through until she stop when Zane calls her.
"You know he's coming back right? Prepared yourself, you're coming with me." He said, their eyes met and she nodded. This morning Mr. Gin call her about the arrival of the Chairman, and he wants to meet her.
"I understand." She says, actually Koa didn't know what she would feel. Will she be happy or what? She means, it's her first time meeting the man who changed her life in an instant, the man who gave her fortune. She was quite hesitant to meet him, and nervous but she can say that she needs to meet him. She needs explanations, that's why.
Days pass so quickly, the whole week seems normal. Zale is not trying to seduce her anymore, he didn't casually kiss her like they are lovers or whatsoever. It's not that she complained but she felt like something was wrong, she felt like a thunderstorm was coming on a sunny and calm day. She looks at herself in the mirror, Elaine helps her to prepare. She does her make up, and chooses clothes for her. Now she's wearing a Burgundy tea length dress, Elaine did her make up like a natural one and she also wears red heels. She said she needs to look intimidating at the same time innocent, she should mirror their actions towards her. She will enter a hungry Leon's dean, and she doesn't know how starved they are.
She heard a come, it's probably Mr. Gin. She noticed that Elaine immediately hid herself.
"You look fantastic, I think Kalish is calling me." She said, and then she ran towards the Kalish room where she watches Frozen. She noticed that Elaine is not bothering her anymore about Mr. Gin, she wondered if something happened?
She took her bag and then went out of their apartment, to her surprise she saw her boss in front and was about to knock on the door. Their eyes met, he looked at her from head to toe.
"You're stunning." He complimented, she smiled. Zale offered his hand, and she accepted it immediately.
"Thank you." She responded, he opened the car door for her and put his hand on the top of her head while she's entering. Mr. Javier has been nice these past few weeks, is this one of his tactics? She saw him walk towards the other side of the car, he opened it and entered. She put her seatbelt on, it's already 5: 00 PM, they will just be having a family dinner but her heart is beating so fast. She's nervous, this is the very first time she'll meet the man who changed her life.
