"Starfall! Starfall! You were here all this time? I've been searching everywhere for you!" A voice suddenly called out.
-
As I turned towards the voice's direction, I saw a young man running towards me. He had a pair of big and bright eyes, a chiseled nose and face. He was tall and had a well-built body. As the young man approached closer, I was able to sense his aura. It was not that strong but it was very solid.
-
'I wonder what realm this is and what is this world's cultivation ranks…I'll soon find out,' I thought to myself. 'Also, why is this handsome man running towards me?'
-
The closer he got, the more worried I became. 'He said he was looking for me when I first came out. Was I a troublemaker before I awaken? Was I about to get in trouble?' As these thoughts raced within me, I decided it was best to follow this young man back first. I don't know who he was but I could tell he did not have any ill intent towards me. Of course, that does not mean I will lower my guard, after all…Safety comes first.
-
"What were you doing here?? Don't you know how worried I was? Now, come quick! The coronation ceremony of your elder siblings is about to start." The young man scolded me as he shook his head helplessly. After scolding me, he suddenly wrapped me up in sphere of qi before lifting me up and flew off somewhere.
-
"Woaah!" I couldn't help feeling shocked. We're so high up in the air right now that the towns ands people were tiny like ants. It's been quite a long time since I have flown this high up. Personally, I wished I could have a wider view of the scenery but before I could adjust myself, this young man had already flown away and the sudden increase in air pressure had thrown me off completely. Furthermore, since we're flying at breakneck speed, the air currents were constantly bashing the sphere and disrupted all of my attempts to rebalance myself within the sphere. This sucked.
-
10 mins later…
-
"Young master Starfall, we're here." A voice suddenly called out.
-
'Eh? Did I fall asleep?' When I opened my eyes, I couldn't help gasping. 'This place is huge!!!!!!! Is this a palace??'
-
"Is this the place where the coronation thingy was happening, big bro?" I asked the young man. On the outside I look no older than five but on the inside I'm several hundreds of thousands of years old!! So when the word big bro came out, my insides were screaming 'CRIIIIINGEEEEE!!!!!' I've mastered the art of acting after my 46th reincarnation so I'm sure everyone will be fooled, but I just hate it that I'm supposed to call these saplings 'big brother or big sister'! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it!
-
The young man was indifferent when he saw the palace, instead he was utterly flabbergasted when I called him big brother. He was so shocked that it took me 4 minutes to shake him out of his daze…Geez, was my acting that good? I mean, I know I'm cute and all but when was the last time I had ever received such an amazing response? I was pretty sure this was the first time.
-
Before I could shake him any further, he suddenly bended down and touched my forehead and asked, "Young master, are you alright? Did you hit your head or something in that cave just now? Strange…I can see no injuries on the surface…Now, time to check inside." After he placed his hand on my head, I felt a solid but gentle flow of spiritual energy within my own spiritual sea. Ah, I had to remind myself that a kid as young as me normally can't even access their spiritual sea yet, much less erect a defense for it. So, in the moment the young man's spiritual sense entered my head, I had to quickly lower my sea's defenses.
-
"Hmm, nothing's wrong here. And I'm sure you haven't sense Ren Qi yet so you can't have cultivated yet...So, there's nothing wrong with your spiritual sea and you can't have cultivation deviation if you've never cultivated...So, could it be that young master Starfall has a fever?" He looked at me suspiciously as he retracted his hand.
-
"Ah, big bro...Have you nefe!?" Ah! I bit my tongue! Fuck! " Have I never called you big bro before??"
-
"Uhm, not that I recall...No, young master Starfall has only ever called me by my name, Kyong He. Or Mr. Kyong He...Never big bro or anything this friendly of the sorts. I mean, I am appointed by the family as your personal bodyguard...So my place has always been lower than you." the young man explained.
-
"I see...Well anyways Kyong He, I'm a changed m -- boy so I'll just call you big brother Kyong from now on!!" Whoops! my mentality was still that of a 300k year old man so my vocabulary needed some tweaking, hahaha...
-
"Alright, young master?" Big brother Kyong replied. "Ah, right! The coronation! Let's go young master!"
-
Before I could escape from big brother Kyong, he pulled inside the palace's gates and towards a grand white manor...With a swimming pool and a garden?? How big is this manor?!?!?! No wait, I should probably ask which family is this?? To have grand manors within a palace??
-
'Change of plans, I might need a full week to explore the ins and outs of the palace, my home it seems.' I thought to myself.
-
"Lord 8th, I've found young master Starfall and brought him here." Big brother Kyong brought me to the entrance of the manor...'Man, the gates are so tall!'...pushed open the gates and waltz inside.
-
'Is this how you enter your boss's house??? Does being a guard of a troublemaking child excuse you from learning manners??' Guess I have to personally teach big brother Kyong some manners next time.
-
Upon entering the manor, a middle age dude suddenly jumped out of his seat and hoisted me up. "Ah, son! Where were you just now! You told me something about [I'm reaching the end] and just ran off! Thank the Heavens that you were found safe!" It seemed that this person was my father. I don't know his name though, guess I'll just call him father. His hugs were abit too strong...Oooh, I can feel back cracking under his immense strength.
-
After hugging me tightly for 5 minutes, he finally let me go.
-
'Jesus fucking Christ! My back hurts like hell!' Just moving to the left and to the right already makes me want to crumple to the ground. 'Yeah, that definitely was my father.'
