They continue to walk to the Dark Mountain where they said that the witch guarded, they heard the story about ten years ago.
The witch destroyed the village around the mountain ten years ago, and she cursed them. She has a hundred eyes, she's a monster they said and she can see everything that's why no one could ever enter the Dark Mountain.
As Risk looked at the dark mountain, it was perfectly shaped like a triangle with a circle of dark clouds around it. As they approached the mountains, their environment started to darkend. They heard the birds cropping, and the mountains had a chilly feel.
They reached the edge of the mountain and then landed, this Dark Mountain was surrounded by the lake's water. Surprisingly Mahad has a map of the Dark mountain, it seems like it was created by Zell's father.
"So here's the map, as was this saying here. There are three levels of this mountain, there are two gates with many obstacles and traps. Three stairways to get to the top of the mountain and two of them are traps."
"It means we need to choose what straiway we take because two of them might fail, we can't be separated because what if both we take is the wrong one? Then we both lost forever?" The lake's villagers said, once you take a wrong path you'll never make it back.
"Let's go find the Three stairway first and then decide the path we take." Mahad said, then started to walk to find the three ladders. It says in the map that it was located at the middle of the forest, from the right side of the bottom of the mountain they walk straight to the middle. And they saw the three stairways, now which one will they take?
"Which one?" Mahad asks, Risk listening to the surroundings.
"Let's go with this one." He pointed to the right stairway, Zell is at the back of Mahad. He's the one carrying him because he is still unconscious…
"Okay, let's go with that one." Mahad said he believes in Risk instinct, the both took a deep breath and started to move forward. As they started walking to the stairs a wind blew, the forest was covered with a fog.
They continue to walk but suddenly Risk feels something is coming to them, he immediately stops from walking.
"What happened?" Mahad asks as he stops with Risk.
"Something is coming…" He said and then before Mahad could respond he pushed Mahad together and at one they fell into the ground. If they didn't Dodge there is a possibility that the arrow will hit their head instead of the tree, Risk stood up instantly.
"I'm sorry about that…" He apologized, Mahad shook his head.
"Thank you." Risk rans towards the tree where the arrow was stuck and then he pulled it. There's no message or something with the arrow but it seems that this is a warning of the witch who lives here. It seems like it's true, a monster lives at the top of the mountain. How long did this arrow travel? Definitely the one who aims this arrow is a good one, if this a from the top of the mountain he can see she's dangerous…
As they continue, accidentally Mahad takes the wrong steps. They both heard a click sound, they looked together with each other.
"When I say run, run. When I say go down, we go down." Risk said, Mahad nodded.
"Now run!" They both run fast upward using the stairs as they run. The massive axes that are the size of humans from the left and right of the stairs are one by one falling from the huge trees, it swings back and forth. Mahad saw a big ax fall before them, immediately they both stopped and for just inches the massive ax swung to them. They didn't waste any more chance as it swung; they quickly ran before it could come back. They continue to run, Risk feels something.
"Now go down!" Risk said and then they both went down to the ground, they heard the arrows that are from somewhere one after one another trying to hit them. A hundred arrows aim at them, if they could be late even in one second it could be dangerous for them. While lying on the ground, they begin to crawl up. When they didn't feel an arrow coming, they stood up and continued to march.
But later on they suddenly felt the ground shake, and the stairs they were marching on gradually moved. They both immediately get alert and for just a second the stairs steps slowly vanish and the stairs turn into a flat one. They went down to the ground again, expecting a continuous earthquake and for a second the ground moved and in a flash they rushed downhill because the stairs moved fast downwards. They slid as if sliding down a slide as they drifted in the waves of the moving stairs. Risk looked down and saw that the massive axes continue to swing back and forth if they get there they will be chopped alive.
Although they rushed downhill quickly, Risk was able to cling to a tree root before they could be chopped alive by the axes one of his hands was clasped to the vein, and the other was holding Mahad.
Mahad tightly held Risk hand, his body was twice as heavy because Zell was behind him hanging and leaning.
"Just hold on…" Risk said while trying to lift Mahad and Zell using only his one hand, throughout the time trying to lift them they both heard echoes sounds all throughout the forest as if an enormous rock were running towards them and they're right a massive rock runs toward them.
"Damn!" Risk can't help but to cuss, he became more aggressive. He tried to lift Mahad and Zell more using his own strengths, his fingers began to bleed because of the thorn of the root he was holding.
It wasn't long enough before they saw a rock rolling towards them, surely when it rolled over them they would be crushed alive. Risk is determined, he took a deep breath.
"Hold on tight!" He said as he swung his hand, the rock was almost near so he endured the pain.
"Shit!" Mahad cuss as he saw the rock.
"When I say jump, could you jump?" Risk said.
"Yes!" Mahad responded.
"Then 1." As Risk counted the more he swung his arm.
"2…"
"3…. and Jump!" Risk lets Mahad and Zell go, Mahad jumps and he holds the side of the cliff. Risk immediately pulled himself up and then ran toward mahad and then pulled him. Risk pulled Mahad right after the boulder pass, they are both breathing so freaking hard. They can't believe even the stairway is such a trap, wow!
"That was close!" Mahad said, Risk agreed. Risk stood up and then offered his hand to Mahad. Mahad accepted it and then stood straight.
They continue and when they reach the first gate of the mountain, they look at the cave. What would be a trap awaiting them inside? Damn.
