Rana was expecting that the two gentlemen would run away as appeared within their eyes but it was the opposite, Mahad immediately kneeled on the ground while bowing his head.
"I sincerely apologize for trespassing on your territory but Zell really needs your help and will do everything just, just for you to save him." Risk immediately followed Mahad, he also kneeled to the ground. Rana's eyes widened, what the? She didn't expect this, she's confident that they'll hate her as they saw her but why are they kneeling?! They are not supposed to act like that, they're supposed to despise her. She did harm them by preventing them from entering, she frequently almost killed them.
"I am begging you to help him…" Risk also pleads.
"Who sent you here?' She asks with an intimidating tone.
"We are from the Land of Lazaro, and Zell is the son of Lanzell Xydofia…" Rana's eyes widened when she heard the name Mahad said, it's been a decade since the last time she saw him as expected he will never come back again.
"I see, so he's his son." Rana already knew about that, from the first glance of Zell's face she already knew because they have the same features as her master. She already knew their purpose, she promised one thing to her master and she will fulfill that promise.
They heard the loud growls of Zell, he was being caged by a huge cell. He was in his beast form, the seal officially broke and it's a good thing that they're already here. One thing Risk notice in this place is, besides Rana the woman who has a hundred eyes no one else is here. She's alone…
"You can take a rest, I know you're both tired on your journey here." Rana said and looked at Risk and Mahad. She walked first and they followed behind her back. Her gown is swiping on the floor as she walks like a queen, she's taller than them because of her five inches black heels.
"Thank you for accepting us here…" Risk said, Rana shook her head.
"I'm not, if he's not my master son then I'll never help him even if you beg and kneeled." Risk nodded, that's right. It seems that she already knows who Zell really is, and yet she still tries to kill them. It seems it's not in her vocabulary going easy to anyone, and trusting anyone. This woman is strong, no one is here so that means she's the only one who shoots them an arrow with this distance.
"Master?" Mahad asks, Rana nods.
"Yes, his father. I promise to help him when the time comes and I need to fulfil that. You're here to know how to conquer his curse right?"
"Yes, we're expecting kind of information like that."
"Master Laz personally teaches me how to conquer curse, even though weren't same curse power but we are the same types. He teaches me some methods."
"So it means you're a curse conqueror? Not a witch?" Risk asks, Rana looks at him with confusion in her eyes but then it vanishes when she realizes something.
"No, I'm not." they probably heard that from the village, she can't believe they actually believe it. She is aware of her bad reputation, and the rumors around her.
"So it's true that you can see everything in your surroundings?" Curious Mahad asked.
"Yes, I have hundreds of eyes after all." And then again eyes everywhere from her body appear, it has a different color. She already conquered her curse, which means it's been a year since she already did that because Zell's father personally taught her. And if her master is Zell's father that means she's the first descendant of her curse.
As they walked to the hallway, Risk looked outside and saw different plants everywhere. He looks at her hand, that's why…
"Are you here all alone?" Risk suddenly asks, Rana's feet slowly move and turn around. He's testing her.
"Yes, I am."
"Aren't you lonely?" Insensitivity he asks.
"No." She immediately answered and walked. After a second, they reach in front of a door.
"This will be your room, suit yourself." She said and then vanished.
Risk look at the room, it seems like she already prepared this room for them. It's nice, and clean. Risk saw a bunch of fruits on the table, for just in instant he was already chewing and eating the food as his heart continents.
Mahad opens the window and air instantly blows his hair, now he feels so much exhaustion.
"But isn't strange? She's the only one here?" Mahad muttered and looked at the forest.
"I think something happened here several years ago, we can't be sure but I think it's a tragedy." Mahad added, he turned around and saw Risk already snoozing while holding a piece of meat and leaning his head on the table.
Mahad shook his head and then helped him to lie on the bed, after that he decided to go out from the room to meet Rana and discuss something with her.
The next day Mahad and Risk were left outside the underground where the cell is, Rana said that it was dangerous for them to enter and be near that's why she also shields the underground using her power. Risk and Mahad don't have any choice but to follow her order and instructions, she seems kind but she's so scary.
Rana faces Zell who's still growling and being out of control, he wants to be out of the cage but it's not possible. It was made of sacred ingredients that could imprison any cursed person, she took a deep breath. And open the cage and then enter inside of it, she looks at his eyes. She's expecting that he'll attack her but then and to her surprise Zell in beast form suddenly became a tame and then lowered himself for her. His eyes sparkled, she couldn't believe it.
She touched his head and patted it gently, he was huge.
"Let's start…" She whispered, she prepared for this. That's why she doesn't need to waste any time because the longer the curse is unconquered the more it's hard to control.
