Sharen brought the tea to his mouth, appreciating the scalding sensation in his mouth. If it was in Ramary, he was sure, such hot tea would've burned his throat but not here. The weather made it even pleasant to drink such hot liquid.
"I'm starting to appreciate the islanders' thoughtfulness more and more," he put the cup on the table, sniffling. His hands were cold even with the fires that burned in the living room.
