Chapter 2 - You Don’t Have to Be Polite to A B*tch

After saying that, Shelley left the ward almost as if she was escaping.

Looking at Shelley's fleeing figure, Sue's lips curled up slightly.

"Original Sue, from now on, I will protect you in your world!" Sue silently swore in her heart.

Sue had won the first round completely. But, for Sue who had been in the business world for a long time, she knew that sometimes there would be unexpected gains when she pursued her victory.

Thinking of this, Sue disregarded the nurse's objection, decisively removed the IV drip needle on the back of her hand, and chased after Shelley.

Sure enough, she saw Shelley return to the ward next to hers, where she scolded her husband, "Charles Longman, you are useless. You spent so much of my money and couldn't even teach your foster daughter well. Why do I still need you?"

"Hasn't Sue been very obedient?" Charles asked with a puzzled look. He didn't get angry as though he was numb to scolding.

"Very obedient? Are you blind? Just now, she refused to donate blood in front of the nurse. She made me lose face and even become a bad person." Shelley glared at Charles.

"Mom, what happened?" Lily, who was lying on the bed, asked weakly.

In response to her precious daughter's question, Shelley recounted what had happened in a good temper.

"Then, Mom, didn't you teach Sue a lesson? That b*tch didn't even look at her own status, how could she dare to be so rude to Mom?" Lily was a little agitated, causing her to cough a few times.

When Shelley saw this, she quickly reached out and patted Lily's back. Looking at her daughter's body, she was full of worry and continued to nag unhappily.

"Who says so? If I had known that I would raise such an ingrate, I wouldn't have adopted her in the first place!"

"Mom, don't be angry. Bring Sue to the charity banquet tomorrow night. I don't believe that with the cooperation of Mom and I, Sue would dare to refuse in front of all the famous families in the city!" Lily's eyes flashed, and the corners of her mouth curved into a proud smile.

"My dear daughter, your idea is brilliant! The words from the mouths of those people would affect her! It's time for Sue to recognize the fact that she is a blood transfusion machine!" As she spoke, Shelley's eyes were full of viciousness.

However, they didn't know that while they were plotting against Sue, Sue who was eavesdropping outside the door, had already turned on her phone and secretly recorded their conversation.

The next day, Sue was recuperating leisurely when she saw Lily walk in.

"Sue, there's a charity banquet tonight. All the people who are going are from rich families. Come with me. It's good to go out and get to know more people," Lily said, pretending to be good to Sue.

"Okay!" Sue nodded without thinking.

"Sue, do you have a gown? I'll get mom to pick one for you later!" Lily smiled, but she snorted in her heart.

Sure enough, she was a girl who had never seen the world. A dinner party made her so happy.

At night, she would see what she could do. Lily was looking forward to the arrival of the evening.

Soon, it was time for the dinner party.

When Sue appeared at the venue with Lily in a dress that was exquisitely made, tailored to her style and size, it caused quite a stir.

While many people were attracted by Sue's red fish-tailed gown, they also casted a heartfelt glance at the woman in a white dress, who was sitting in a wheelchair.

"Long time no see, how is everyone?"

Lily was sick, and her soft voice made her sound weak.

"Yes, Lily, long time no see, but you don't look well!" A rich girl who knew Lily looked at her worriedly.

"Do I look pale? There's nothing I can do. The doctor said that my body is short of blood, and I have Rh negative blood, so..." Lily looked helpless.

Shelley, who was pushing her, glanced at Sue and agreed sadly, "Lily, it's all mom's fault. Mom was too anxious to give you blood and made Sue misunderstand. She thought that I didn't love her, so she refused to give you blood. Mom has let you down!"

As Shelley spoke, she forced out a few tears, which made people feel sad to see.

"Mom, why are you crying? Although you were kind enough to adopt Sue, since Sue has already rejected us, why did you bring it up? As a sister, even if my body is in bad shape, I still hope that Sue will be happy!" Lily said, as if she was reciting a standard quotation.

Those who were watching by the side were all moved after hearing Lily's words.

"Sue is too cold-blooded, isn't she? Does it matter if she gives her some blood to such a good family member!"

"Yes, Sue! The reason why you can wear such luxurious clothes is because of Lily and Auntie Shelley's kindness!"

...

As expected, facing the criticism from the group of people toward Sue, Lily lowered her head and smiled smugly.

She believed that her goal would be achieved soon.

But Sue's calm expression made her a little confused.
