Chapter 10 - Fight at the airport

A little more than an hour and a half had passed when they reached the airport. As Lydia stepped out of her car at the airport, she glanced around.

"Let's go!" she said.

Inside the airport, she followed Z, walking in front of her since she did not know where to go. Due to Z's uncertainty about Lydia's belongings, they went through the security system.

A few minutes later, Lydia had already boarded the plane when her phone suddenly went dead. During that time, she researched several topics. For example, Daniel. There weren't many things to know about him, except that he was a top-ranking global billionaire. In researching herself, she learned more about her family members. Her step-sister was an award-winning actress, her stepmother was a writer and also an actress and her father worked for his company. In the past, she was in the headlines every day because of rumours her family did to her, she said.

The plane that was only for her caught her attention. The TV was large and the plane was grand. In the middle of the dining table were some flowers in a vase. She walked to the door that was in front of her. She saw an enormous bed before her. She saw a shower to her left and a bathroom behind it. After getting her suitcase, she returned into the room to put on the dress that her mother gave her. Then she went into the bathroom to find a mirror, where luckily there was one, so she applied the makeup.

Strawberry lipstick made her lips appear pink and she especially liked the colour. It was her first time flying on a private jet, where no one could disturb her or tell her what to do. Her Gucci bag was also pulled out of the suitcase she had discovered earlier in the closet.

2 hours later,

As she got out of the plane, walking through the halls of the airport she saw a man slowly get his hand in a woman's pocket who looked rich. After pulling out the woman's wallet, he fled. A woman who likes to get involved in other people's lives and create trouble is Lydia. Lydia hurried to catch up to him. Upon seeing her, the man accelerated. Lydia wasn't used to this body and the original Lydia hadn't done any sport, so she had trouble running. She thought that the bodyguard would have followed her, but surprisingly.

They stood there watching her. Z told them it was none of their business, so they should let her deal with the trouble when it has nothing to do with them and her either. The man grabbed a knife from his pocket and pulled Lydia in while she was looking away looking at the man who was standing doing nothing.

Having a quick self reflex, Lydia grabbed the knife that was heading towards her stomach and stopped it. Despite being too late, she managed to stop his hand with her other hand as the knife traversed her hand. Lydia, who had experienced this sort of stuff in her past life has gone through more than this. However painful it was, she learned to suppress it. without making a single noise and continue to fight back. When he turned, he didn't take the knife out of her hand but left it in her hand.

Lydia grabbed him by the collar with her right hand as he was about to turn and flee, then smashed him in the stomach with all her strength with her knee. The blood spurted from his stomach. Feeling disgusted by his sight, she shoved him to the ground. As she took out the knife in her hand, she hissed, but nobody could hear her.

As a crowd gathered around them, some people screamed when they saw her hand, while other people screamed when they saw the unconscious man lying on the ground with blood coming from his mouth. Even some people took out their phones and took a picture and posted it all over the internet. Lydia reached into his pocket to take out his wallet. She got up and walked straight to the woman sitting on a bench while scrolling through her phone.

"Here is your wallet," Lydia said calmly.

After looking at her, the woman turned to the wallet in her hand. While looking through her bag, the woman saw that it was indeed her wallet but she was confused that someone as nice will follow the thief and come back with it unless she was with them.

Taking her wallet and putting it back into her bag, she stood up and asked, "Thank you, but how did you know I lost my wallet?".

pointing to the unconscious man on the floor, she said, "He stole it while you weren't paying attention. Next time, be careful since you won't be as lucky to have someone personally look for your stolen wallet."

After the woman said thanked her. Lydia approached the bodyguards, whose faces were stone-faced, with her hand bleeding non-stop.
