Amanda looked at her reflection in the mirror while her butler combed her hair. Her face may look happy, but her heart is sad because she can't meet Max.
A knock on the door made Amanda turn around. "Come in," he said.
A maid came into the room and said, "Mr. Ollivander is waiting for you to have breakfast with him, miss," he said.
"Okay, I'll be down in a minute," Amanda answered, smiling slightly.
The maid nodded her head then left Amanda's room. When she was done getting dressed, Amanda stood up and walked over to Ollivander in the dining room.
A waitress pulled up a chair so Amanda could sit across from Ollivander. After Amanda sat down, the waitress put the dinner napkin on Amanda's lap, then took the food according to what Amanda wanted. Amanda felt awkward because she wasn't used to being served all the time.
In the middle of breakfast, Ollivander said something that caught Amanda's attention.
