Liu Ku's veins stiffened. He could not help but be excited as Wu Qi said, "Of course Your Highness! As you wish!"
Shortly thereafter, Suo Junhuan was dragged to go before Zhu Su.
Everyone was watching curiously at the kneeling Suo Junhuan. His hands were tied behind his back. However, even though he was kneeling down, he did not lower his head. Instead, he lifted his head upright and glared straightly at Zhu Su.
Wu Qi quickly figured out Suo Junhuan's insolence. He forced the young man to lower his head. "Bow down to His Highness!" He snapped.
Suo Junhuan lowered his head. But then, he let out a low murmur. "You can tie me up and force me to bow down or do whatever you want... but you can not treat my heart as you like. My heart can never be controlled by you!"
"Who wants to rule over you?! You will soon die anyway!" Liu Ku replied in disdain.
Suddenly, Suo Junhuan laughed. His laughter made everybody swept by a sudden terror. "Hahaha! Liu Ku... Liu Ku! A person like you will never have a good day! Punishment in the hell is waiting for you for being an official who oppresses the people!" He looked up, giving hateful looks to the rest of the Team of Wellbeing. "And you too, Deng Linping!" Deng Linping got surprised as Suo Junhuan glared at him with a wild look as if he was about to pounce on him. "The sect-selling traitors like you will feel the pain of Hell's torments! And you, too! Master Yun, and De Ta!" Suo Junhuan shouted loudly at the two of them who glared back at him with a nauseous look. "All of you are traitors! You will be penalized in the Hereafter!" His yell sounded even more terrible now. "Damn you all, rascal government people! You ignore your people and only care for yourselves! You raise and glorify yourself by your own standards, making discriminations as you like! Actually, what are nobles, what are officials? What are your talents which let you can be called nobles or officials?! Isn't it actually a standard that you set by yourselves, to fulfill your own selfishness, and force others to join in your game?!"
"Stop your unwarranted accusations, Suo Junhuan!" Qu You shouted. "You only see the government from your eyes as a rebel. Of course in the eyes of those who want to fight against the sovereignty, then government agencies become bad things. But if you try to put yourself as a pro-government person, you will definitely abandon your mindset!"
"That's the point! It turns out that everything is only based on the point of view. If we side with the government, then in our minds the government will be good. It turns out that it is no more than a matter of interest. But that only applies to you. For me, no! I know what is right, and what is wrong. The Hongwu Emperor took advantage of Bai Lian Jiao to usurp the throne, he himself was once a follower of Bai Lian Jiao, but after becoming emperor he even refused to acknowledge him the Bai Lian Jiao, even forcibly closed Bai Lian Jiao and labeled it as a forbidden sect! So, the Ming government is basically bad from the beginning! How can the successors change it to be good! It won't!"
Wu Qi was extremely furious right now. He aimed his sword right at Suo Junhuan's face. "You insult the government with one more word, and I'll ensure that your head will soon fly away!"
Instead of trembling in fear, Suo Junhuan inclined his head closer to the sword. "Okay, kill me! It is a great pride for me to die with dignity. My death will not be tarnished, because even if I die, I remain loyal to Bai Lian Jiao!"
The smile on Suo Junhuan's lips made him look terrible like a mad demon from hell. Suo Junhuan's eyes also flickered ferociously. His face was all covered in sweat. Looking at him, all of a sudden a speck of horror crept into Wu Qi's chest.
"Stop it, Wu Qi!" Zhu Su's voice broke the silence. "Don't argue with him anymore."
Wu Qi turned his head. He gazed at Zhu Su who looked back at him seriously. "But, Your Highness, he really shows the intention to fight!..."
"That's why you shouldn't argue with him anymore. Because it's the principle that has been embedded deep down in his heart, and it can't be revoked regardless. You won't be able to win the debate. Nobody can win, anyhow. Because, that has become his life principle, that is, to fight against the government whaetever it takes."
Wu Qi looked at Zhu Su curiously. At first, he thought that Zhu Su would do the same as he usually did when it came to handle Suo Junhuan - used the Strategy of Turning Enemies into Friends by including Suo Junhuan in the Team of Wellbeing, moreover Suo Junhuan possessed very good medical skill which Zhu Su would seemingly be fond of. That was why he tried to prevent it as he felt it would be a different case. However, Zhu Su was not like what he thought, so that he could breathe a sigh of relief. Although he became curious about what Zhu Su was going to do next.
Zhu Su looked straight at Suo Junhuan. "Are you determined to die as a rebel?"
Suo Junhuan stared back at Zhu Su without even the slightest trembling. "Yes!"
Once again, Zhu Su took a deep breath. Suo Junhuan's mind were already full of disgust towards the government, he had no other choice but to carry out the law of nation.
"It's you who choose this path, Suo Junhuan. This way of death, is your choice."
Suo Junhuan snorted. Even though death was approaching him, he lifted his head high. Pride overwhelmed his whole conscience, the pride to die for defending the principle of life that made him happier to die rather than to live.
Zhu Su felt sad. Suo Junhuan was very patriotic, also very loyal in defending his life principles. Was it a wrong trait? All people were indeed required to have loyalty and adherence to their principles, to the extent that they were willing to sacrifice for that, weren't they? However, he became very wrong because, in principle, he was aimed at the rebels. But did Suo Junhuan himself think that he was guilty? Totally not, he was sure that he was right, and the government was wrong - he had done the right thing!
So, is the principle of loyalty and self-sacrifice good, or bad?
Because of these unsolvable principal problems, wars and rebellions would never be erased from this world for eternity.
On the next day, Suo Junhuan was executed in an open field in Kaifeng for treason against the legitimate government. All residents of Kaifeng became the witnesses.
