She looked at him excited for their date, it had been years since they have seen each other, so maybe it was a way to catch up. "How about a little diner in town, how about there?"
She smiled with a sweet shy smile. "Sounds good" he walks in front of her and holds his arm out like a proper gentleman.
"Milady" she chuckles taking his arm.
"Geez Jack you're such a gentleman" they walked downstairs from the mansion and head into town where there was a little diner.
They sat down at a booth, she sat down, and they got water and coffee. "Thank you" he smiled kindly. They order their food and get it and eat but haven't said a lot since his experience with his AA troubles. "I'm happy you said yes, because ever since you helped me.... I've been thinking..." he looked over at her, her eyes lit up, she didn't know, but yet, kind of knew. "Daro I..." he wants to tell her and yet didn't know if he could.
"Yes?"
Song played in the moment.
Jack: 🎶I am so unsure...*he looked down at the ground unsure, then didn't
🎶Now I see, love is always there....and so it lies deep inside🎶 puts his hand on her hand 🎶Here's a perfect life🎶
🎶Twinkling in your eyes. 🎶 They looked into each other's eyes and realized maybe there was always something there.
Daro and Jack thinking: 🎶and I hope that you can see it too, the love, I feel with you🎶 they hold hands.
🎶We know🎶 Jack and Daro kiss.

🎶Everywhere we go, I'm not alone, if we are there together🎶 They now are walking through the town where there are beautiful flowers. 🎶Like hate turning into like, Well make it through, now that I have you, love has found it's way. 🎶 They hold hands on the way back. 🎶I know love has found it's way🎶 They stop in front of the building together. The gentle breeze blew, and the tree pedals fell from the cherry blossom tree.
"Daro I... have always liked you and one day you disappeared, and I didn't think I would see you again till you came back to help me and now...I'm glad you did. He got down on one knee. "Daro Haddaway, will you give me the honor of being Mrs. Dickson?" She smiled and her heart skipped a beat, she ran at him with a hug
"Yes, yes!" He put a ring on her finger and smiled happily together.
Jack's heart jumped for joy when he heard her lips say yes to his question, maybe life was finally going to go right for him. Maybe! He could finally move in from his eternal pain. He slid the ring on her left finger, looking deep into her eyes. "Oh Daro, I will always be by your side" he smiled, and she smiled back at him as they kissed. He held her hand as they walked back to the mansion.
Meanwhile, Marek walked out of his room and decided to go downstairs finally. "I need a drink" he low growl, while still watching for Jack. Sigh. he walked down to the bar down in the lobby. "One of your strongest whiskeys" he liked to drink for casual events, but since he felt he was on edge a bit he could use something to calm him.
"Here you go sir" he hands him the small glass of whiskey, Marek takes a drink of it and finally feels relaxed.
While that was happening, Daro and Jack walk into the mansion with Daro happily. "Hey, would you like a drink Daro?" She smiles.
"Sure, a drink sounds nice" they walked into the bar and Jack looks up from Daro and sees Marek. Silence, he looked into his eyes and Marek into his, you could feel the intensity of the room get heavy. All the clues from the beginning to now flashed through Jack's head. The "contracting" on the walls, the misused/placed gun, the strained of hair from both his old home...and here, the vision of the man in a suite. Marek: (😅 shit)
"YOU!"
"Welp!" Takes a drink and finishes his drink in one shot, Marek gets up and Jack runs up to him rage boiling inside. "How long is this game going to go on, you OX!" he goes for a punch, Marek dodges his punch, his hands in his pockets and jump twists over Jack's head, almost like in slow motion, he smirks in triumph and lands on his feet behind Jack, he lands running off fast. "STOP! YOUR UNDER ARREST!" Jack yelled pulling out his gun to shooting at him as he runs.
He runs off after Marek. Marek turns the corner in the garden and disappears. Jack lost him. "NOOO!!" He falls to his knees banging on the ground in defeat. "Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!!!" Jack walks back inside full of anger like at the police station.
"Jack! What was that!?"
"ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" He stops himself, realizing he lost his temper again. "I mean....it was..."
"Jack..." she touched his arm to reassure him.
"I-I need to be alone...." Daro was silent for a moment.
"I understand.... but just know, I'm here Jack" She kissed his cheek and went upstairs to her room. She calmed his rage a little, he did love her, but it didn't stop the anger inside much.
Jack went into his room and slammed the door behind him. He lost him again! He was SOOOOO CLOSE! "FUCK!! FUCK!!!" he yelled as he slammed his stuff around in a fit of rage, his vision was blurry in rage and his stomach was sick. He needed to calm down. Marek growled from afar. "I need to END THIS RIDICULOUSNESS!" he glitched into the mansion.
Daro heard Jack get upset in his room and wanted to comfort him. "I'm going to go see him." She heard someone step into her room. She turned around and her eyes widened that lead into a scream. "AHHHHHHHH!"
"Daro?!" Jack heard her scream and ran out of the room quickly, slamming open her door to find him there. Marek his enemy, his nemesis stood glitching in her room. "YOU BASTARD!" he ran to strike him with a punch, but Marek grabbed his fist with a tight grip and tossed him back against the door with a light smirk and chuckle.
"Now listen up you OX! I'm done with this chase! If you want answers, come to find me in Raspy Hill, but I must warn you don't come at night!" he glitched out and disappeared into thin air.
Jack was more pissed off. "IM GOING TO FOLLOW HIM!" she grabs his arm.
"How though!? Jack your acting strange"
"She's just mad that your close" he thought to himself.
"IDK, ILL FIND AWAY!" he went to head out to find a way to get there, when he heard something open, it was a portal.
"W-what is that?" Asked Daro a bit scared. Jack thought for a moment, he remembers reading about portals in the demon books.
"It's a portal! It must lead to Raspy Hill, that means it might be a trap, Daro stay here"
"NO JACK IM NOT LEAVING YOU!" She hugged him with tears.
"Daro! I-I can't lose you too!" he looked down in defeat. "I-I can't...lose you too..." she touched his face.
"You won't" she ran past him. See you on the other side Jack!" and she jumped on in.
"DARO! NO!!" he second thought about it but then knew he had to save her, he took a gulp and jumped right in with the portal closing up behind them.
Spiraling and spinning in the portal, sound and echoes of people talking, screaming or giggling was heard inside. The end of the portal was a dim light, Jack was dropped from inside of it and in the air and falling onto the ground. It looked very dark and barely lit in the town like something you see in a zombie horror movie, it was quiet....to quiet and not a DAMN person or thing in sight ANYWHERE!
Jack showed up at what appeared to be a gas station. An abandoned one it seemed, but he felt he was missing Daro, he panicked "DARO!?" He looked around and didn't hear or see her anywhere.
A friendly owner comes around the corner.
Owner: "Why, hello! Was working in the back, so I didn't see you. Not many come through anymore. How can I be of service?" It was the middle of the day though there was what seemed like there was no sun, maybe there was but from what he saw, there was no sight of one.
"Hello. I'm looking for my friend Daro, have you seen her!?"
The Owner frowned but keeps friendly tone "Like I said, been in the back. Wouldn't have seen anyone but let me check..." he goes inside and checks cameras "Sorry, only one to be by is you."
"Alright thanks...what currency do you take?" asks Jack.
He smiles "Cash only. What can I get you?"
"Honestly, a map.... some coke and...a hamburger please"
"Sure thing! Can do." He finds a map of Raspy Hill, gets Jack a Coke. Goes behind counter to the back and wraps a burger. Comes out and rings up the items "That'll be 5.50"
Jack hands him a 6. "Keep the change" and he begins to walk off to continue looking for Daro.
"Thank you, have a great day! Please visit again sometime!"
"Thanks!" He waves nicely.
The Owner waves back with a nod. He eats and the opens the map to see where he need to go next. Mechanic garage, he had to find Daro.
(It is a weird story from this point on, it is ALLL over the place NONETHELESS we never hash tagged in the server soooo😅 were working on it. They will be a little slow with the story here and there. OH! And YES, this is all rp written.... well mostly! I wrote some extra details XD. Thanks for reading!)
