Protected by the incoming downpour happening in Ohlave City, Youden was quick to enter the open carr door and inside very spacious seating. It was built so that multiple people could be sitting around each other in a square shape, and transported to other locations as discreetly as possible. As the man entered the vehicle and moved towards a window seat, several suited men followed suit and found available spots.
With the ongoing war moving in their favor, many investors, whether from the mainland or local collaborators, were interested in rebuilding the destroyed lands and getting a juicy cut in the process. The process of getting involved was rather quick to reach Youden's ears, to which he was delighted to negotiate. Of course, he planned to make sure everything was going to be done as smoothly as possible, with no scandals or shortcutting from the group.
"Is that everyone?" Youden asked the aide waiting outside, getting soaked in the rain without an umbrella.
"Yes it is, sir." they gave a quick salute.
"Thank you so much, your efforts have been appreciated." Youden returned one before the door closed and the carr began to travel. "Alright, let's get down to business."
"So, as for Ohlave City, we were thinking about receiving a fifteen percent cut for every reconstruction project within its perimeters, and about eight percent for other projects within the nation itself." an older man with a receding hairline grumbled. "I think we'll all benefit from such a proposal."
"Sounds reasonable to me." Youden looked through the paper that explained the finer details of the proposition. "As for anyone els-?"
"Sir, we have some important news back in Youdenia!" the driver slammed the brakes, just as a military man decorated in medals began pounding on the window of the carr.
"What the fu-! Excuse me." Youden calmed down, before bringing the window down. "What's wrong with you!"
"I'm so sorry sir, it was hard to catch up with you, and since no one was available to tell you, it was up to me."
"Hurry up!"
"Well, back in Youdenia, it appears that Jamal and the Port-O-Bea city forces have managed to break through the established defenses that were set up by the Reserve Guard. They are already en route towards the closest city of Appleridge, with a population of 65,000, while only being twenty miles away. In that span of time, they've also managed to capture several settlements and larger towns with little of our forces, no doubt attempting to form a larger army. If we don't chang-."
"Is the new Defense General in the region?" Youden was quite irritated, but still kept some control.
"I believe he just arrived, sir, although I'm not sure."
"Enforce the full mobilization of the Reserve Guard, and inform him to begin extensive defensive measures not only around the city, but near the capital itself and other important locations. Utilize more of the local airforce and attacks on Port-O-Bea at all costs. I don't expect things to get that bad, but I could only assume the means that Jamal and that cursed group are plotting to do. I will be in communication with the homeland within the next few hours on the situation, so make sure my words reach them beforehand. Goodbye."
Before the general could even process what just happened, the window was quick to close, before the carr dashed ahead on the rubble-filled road and towards a local highway. Even with his somewhat calm demeanor, the man could tell that Youden was becoming agitated with the current activity and the full deployment of thousands more troops would surely bring an end to Jamal. It simply had to.

"Should we be worried about what is going on? Your plate is not too full now, is it?" another one of the investors had to ask, as the carr made its way onto the highway and towards the interior of the controlled territory.
"Oh not at all, just a little internal conflict is all. You know how these unemployed people act. Now, let's talk more about money, shall we?" Youden joked off, as the group let loose a few chuckles and back onto subject.
