Lero held his stance, as Thoam played with him. Not anything weird, but not going all out against him in this sparring match. They decided to duke it out of Thoam's cell since Arocut was going to try to get back at them for the earlier incident that day. If Lero didn't hold up and support himself, then his stay at prison was about to go get much worse.
"Well then," Thoam sighed with relief, "This is going well."
"Yeah, by that you mean dodging any attack I try to land on you." Lero fumed.
While Lero was talking, Thoam used the opportunity to rush and grab the man. Yelping in surprise, Lero tried to shake him off, but to no avail. Lero could hear the man taking a deep breath, before everything went black. He couldn't see anything, but he could feel something in his brain, almost like an aching presence.
He tried to move around in the cell, but being blinded wasn't something that allowed for him to do much. The presence was actually starting to hurt, almost a burning sensation mentally.
"Stop resisting, it's not going to help you in the long term." Lero could hear the voice begin to speak for him. "If we're going to get out of here, you must surrender all control."
Lero did not like that at the latest. Bloody give up, man must be bonkers, he assumed. Lero continued to attempt to hold strong, although he was shaking heavily himself and breathing heavily. In only a few more moments, his vision began to return and he looked around. They were still in the cell, although Lero couldn't move, literally.
He tried walking forward, even attempting to move a finger, but couldn't even do that. The presence was still there mentally, although he could barely feel it pressing into his brain at this point.
"Good job, now we're going to get somewhere at this rate." Lero could hear Thoam's voice in his head, as the man in control began to move for him, and beginning the process of their entire escape plan.
