Lero stared down at the rest of the inmates inside another large carr. He was awoken once again in this vehicle, although different than before, and none of the former soldiers in sight. That was a blessing, he almost grinned, until he remembered the situation he was in. Out of all the possible scenarios, he landed himself into going not only to prison, but apparently one of the world's most secure ones. All due to a sham trial.
Staring down at the inmate in front of him, Lero watched in disgust as the elder man licked his lips in pleasure.
"I can't wait to get a piece of you." the man rasped out, jiggling his cuffs.
"And, no bloody thank you." Lero said aloud in shame, as he stared around.
He kept trying to analyze the rest of the group, and any weakness the vehicle had. They were all cuffed, as well as chained to the seat, while three guards stood up beside them, gripping rifles for protection. All but one were men, as many of them were buffed or scarred, no doubt representing their physical strength or threat to society. Lero also could note that the vehicle was thicker than the ones he saw from the invasion, as the metal barely resonated a sound when he tapped in lightly, before applying more force to the same result. Cracking teeth, would this be hard, Lero fumed in frustration, as the vehicle lurched to a stop.
"Alright, let's go! Get out!" Lero heard a voice yell out to them, once the carr door opened.
Continuing to be yelled at, everyone inside the vehicle rushed out once released, with Lero barely avoiding the stampede.
"Single file!" Lero could see a jacked man that towered over many of them. "March!"
The prisoners didn't say a word, as they walked several meters until reaching a security gate. The fencing was around three stories high, with thick barbed wiring above, preventing many people from climbing over. Lero was almost confused at the weak attempt to keep prisoners were, considering that many people had powers to overcome such obstacles, until looking at the vast weapons to provide support. One of them appeared to be two rifles connected to a machine, with a person directing it around every once in and while, watching for any attempts of escape from above.
"We will search you down! Do not resist and continue onward!" the man yelled, as multiple guards approached each prisoner.
Lero stared down onto one of the guards that were shorter than him, as he stood in front of him. You gotta be bloody joking, Lero almost smirked at the man, what threat is this?
"Strip off your clothes now!" the man yelled at him, frightened Lero at the aggression.
"Um, excuse me?" Lero asked, as the guard uncuffed him.
"I said strip off your clothes now!" the guard roared again, raising his weapon.
Gulping, Lero quickly stripped down, until he only had his underwear left on. He watched as the guard felt around his groin, forcing Lero to cough in discomfort.
"He's hiding something!" Lero looked up to see the creepy old man yelling at him, as he was handed a set of prisoner clothes.
"He is?!" the muscular man yelled, as the man quickly walked away with the crowd. "Do a further inspection."
"What yolking nonsense are you hearing?" Lero cried out in shock, "This is a bloody lie! I'm not supposed to be here!"
"That's what they all say." the jacked man stated again, as one of the guards handed him a set of gloves. "Now let's make this quick."
"Wait, you must be confused! I really don't have anything!" Lero cried out, as two guards held him tight, before another one pulled his underwear off.
.....
Finally in the building, Lero was directed into a cell by a guard, hearing the atrocious clamor of convicts among the building. His butt was still extremely sore from the "examination" as the guard closed and locked the door behind him.
"Breakfast is at 7 a.m, lunch at 3 p.m, and dinner at 8 p.m. Lights out at 9:30 p.m, and roll call time is at 5:30 a.m." the guard announced to Lero, before leaving him to himself.
Looking around, Lero noted a dirty cot and blanket in the corner, an open toilet with no privacy, and a small hose for a shower above the ceiling. It definitely was not looking good, as Lero sat on the cot, feeling the strength of the support. It would stand, even though it felt frail. But he knew that he was going to have to put in the bloody work and get out of here sooner than never. Because this was not the life he was looking forward to living in. Especially if this was to be for the rest of his life.
