Chapter 136 - Your Power Is My Power Now

Erthymea's head was down, as she was still asleep before a loud banging on the cell door awoken her. She stared up to see Youden staring her down, with a weapon in his hand. Maybe her time was to come.

"Heh, you were going to kill me after all, weren't you?" She grinned at him, as Youden opened the door, before closing it.

"Shut up, I'm doing what I should have done years ago." he said, getting down to her level.

"What are you doing?" she cried out, as he grabbed her neck.

"I'm taking what needs to be done." Youden grinned, as he covered her mouth with his hand.

Erthymea tried clawing at him, barely able to get a breath, as Youden's eyes began to glow faintly. She could see energy wisping through his hand, before feeling it exit her body. She began to writher in pain, trying to move, as her energy was beginning to flow inside him. He was taking her powers, and she knew it.

"Don't make this harder than it has to be." he faintly spoke, as he began to stare into the ceiling, as more energy was entering into him.

If only she was in her prime, Erthymea might have been able to fight it off, but in her state, nothing much could be done. But she had to try something. In fury, she bit his hand, causing him to screech in pain, as he loosened his grip, before kicking him to the side. Youden slid back a few feet, as she quickly got up, before beginning to shuffle towards the door.

She was barely able to get out, before she felt Youden grab her shirt and drag her back inside. She tried fighting him off, but now Erthymea noticed the light aura of darkness surrounding him. She knew what she had to do. Over the years, she tried making an alternate escape route with little avail, but was able to make a makeshift knife. She couldn't let him get all of her power, or he would be too strong, even for Boom in his prime.

"Ah come on, you thought I was going to let you go that easy. You're going to give me what I want." he growled, as he covered her mouth, and began taking the power more quickly.

She could only squirm as her eyes began to glow, with her power being lost by the second. She had to do it, or fail trying. She slowly put her hands back, until she felt the knife handle. What a way to go, she knew, as she pulled the knife towards her heart.

A shot rang out instantly, causing Erthymea to drop her hand holding the knife in pain, as a guard lowered her rifle, watching the event.

"Good job, Remila. You'll be paid handsomely for that." Youden replied, not looking at her, as both his and Erthymea eyes' glowing began to faint.

In only a few more moments, he pulled his hand back, before looking at himself. Without hesitation, he hit his head against the wall, causing blood to drip, before feeling energy going towards it, as it quickly healed as if nothing happened.

"You have no idea what you've given me." Youden smiled at the feeble woman, who without her power, was actually dying.

"You're going to die painfully. I'll watch it with pleasure after my death." Erthymea said to him, with coughs in between.

"And I'll make sure you know how it feels taking those last breaths." he snorted back, as he aimed the pistol at her.

Erthymea looked straight ahead, as the first shot hit her right leg, the second to the other one. She didn't even hiss in pain, as it shot throughout her entire body, as she laid back onto the floor. Another bullet went through her stomach, as blood began to seep out of her mouth, and her eyes closing with death nearby. Her final thought was that even through it all, he didn't know everything about them as she could see him aiming for her head, then a shot rang out before everything went dark.

...

"Sir, would you like me to remove the body?" Remila asked him, as he walked out, blood splattered over his suit.

"No need, leave it here as a reminder and don't stay either. It'll start to smell in a bit. Let it be a mark of a great ending." he casually answered as if nothing happened, as he made his way out the dungeon and back to society.

And so was that faithful ending of Erthymea, and the official ending of what was left of the Supernaturals. All killed under the man known as Youden, and for a new generation to take him on now.
