Chapter 134 - Time For Making Up

Jamal returned to the steps of the house past dusk. At least this time of year, the sun was up much longer as the days were getting longer. But the real question would be Ula, and he knew exactly what he wanted to say, but he didn't know if he could.

As he climbed up the steps, he eyed his son's window from his room. No light was visible what's so ever, so he assumed he was asleep. Breathing quietly, he opened the door with his key to a creak, where inside was dark. Perhaps everyone was asleep, he assumed, as he carefully closed it behind him.

He crept slowly through the house, as he passed the kitchen as there was nothing on the counters or table, taking that as a sign they hadn't been in here for hours. He looked down the hallway, where he could barely make out any of the surroundings. Was Ula already asleep?

Slowly moving through the hallway, he stopped in front of his son's room. He couldn't hear anything inside, as he was about to check on him. Instantly, even though he could barely make out his surroundings, it was suddenly dark, and he knew Ula was awake.

"Ula, I'm sorry. I can explain." he was able to say before he felt a tug by his shoulder.

He didn't say or make a sound, as he quickly had his back against the wall and could hear soft breathing. Ula was being a bit aggressive to him, as he was about to move, before a hand was placed next to his neck.

"Don't move. You better start speaking." she began to demand, as the darkness cleared.

He didn't budge as he could barely see her face through the darkness, frowned and disappointed.

"I, I just had to talk to someone. That's all." he began to reason. "I know you're upset, but you have to understand what I'm doing is right. You know I would never leave you guys unless it's something I have to do. This is it. If I don't do this, and Youden were to come in two weeks, what happens if I die? There will be no one to take them out, not even the rest of you guys. And I don't even want to know what he would do to our son or you, and I just want the be-"

He didn't even notice her moving closer to his face as he was going off until he felt her lips touch his. It was brief, but he just stared in shock as she looked at him lovingly. Did he actually convince her?

"You know, I think you might have been right." Ula softly told him, "I might have been too harsh on you."

Jamal didn't get the chance to speak again, as she moved closer towards his face. Maybe she cooled off long enough, he assumed, as they kissed again, this time much longer. He could feel her arms wrap around him, as she was beginning to pull him off the wall. Perhaps this is what she wanted, just some time with them together.

"Your not mad at me anymore?" Jamal was able to get out once she pulled back, "I thought you wanted me to stay."

"I still do, but I think now it might be best if you try to find Leon. After you started speaking, it began to make more sense what you were trying to explain."

"I think I might have been too overprotective too. There isn't a reason why you couldn't fend off someone." he said, as she led him into their room.

The room looked much neater after the rebuilding, as everything was much neater inside. After much consideration, they decided to keep the boxes in the corner just in case they needed cover again.

"You know what we haven't done in a long time?" Ula asked him, as she sat on the bed, still holding his hands. "You've been so busy lately."

"Um, not sure exactly. I can't think of anything." Jamal looked confused, scratching the back of his head.

"Would you like to find out?" Ula grinned at him playfully, as she began to pull him closer.

Jamal was a bit confused until she dragged him onto the bed, before getting the hint. She really was trying to do this, he figured, as she began to kiss him more intensely. He didn't budge, as he could feel her bringing her hands closer to his pants. If it wasn't obvious now, there was the sign.

"Mmm, is Laken asleep?" Jamal managed to ask, as she slid his pants off.

"You didn't think I would check? Of course, he is. He's been asleep for a good hour or two." she replied to him, before bringing him back closer.

Jamal just let it go, as they continued to strip each other clothes before getting into action. He knew she wanted to do this every once and a while, but he noticed that Ula didn't even bother giving him that "protection" after several minutes into it.

"Uh, Ula did you ever give me the protection?" Jamal asked her, with her softly moaning.

"No! Oh crap! Please don't say it's too late!" she fixed herself when he spoke, before looking at him. "Oh no! What are we going to do!"
