Boom was still breathing through the mask, as a knock was heard on the door. Erthymea was with him, only to see Jamal stumble inside.
"Jamal, where have you been?" she asked concerningly, as she forced him to sit and immediately began to start the healing process.
"Youden is here. And I think he sent fighters after me, cause I had to leave the rest behin-" he began to start, before getting choked up.
"Jamal." Boom managed to mutter.
"Sir?" he tried getting up, but Erthymea wouldn't let him.
"Give him the vial, and tell him about it," he told her.
Not hesitating, she went in the back, where there she grabbed a small black box. Cautiously, she appeared in front of Jamal, were when she opened it carefully, showed two small vials inside, with one missing. Both eying Boom, he just nodded in her direction, as she began the explanation.
She told Jamal about the program to reach newer, stronger, and more efficient heights. During the program, it was discovered that by combining certain substances, one could create a liquid that could increase their power up to tenfold. Jamal looked at the vials, as she continued the story, but was barely listening. This is the power he needed to protect everyone.
"How do we get more?" he finally asked.
"If you were listening, I said that the lab it was made in, is now in Youden's hands or should be. Even if it hasn't been found, the requirements were destroyed so no one could reproduce it to their advantage."
"Surely there has to be more?" he had to know.
"Well," she began to say before Boom nodded for her to continue. "Boom grabbed the second to last package in existence, with ten vials inside one of the strongest safes ever created. It's under the ocean somewhere in Port-O-Bea," she explained.
That's where they were going as well. They could go find it, and maybe use it to stop people like Youden.
"Jamal, you can try to go for it or not, but don't tell anyone else, not even the others, especially the younger ones. If found, Youden would truly be unstoppable. But now's your time to continue the legacy of the Supernaturals. Create a new name, I don't care, but do not let Saputa's protectors fall." Boom began to say, coughing a lot while doing so.
"Boom, they're still alive." he began to say, before seeing Ertyhmea looking displeased.
"They're all dead, but us two. Even Tilden," she told him.
But how? Weren't they suppose to be the strongest? Of course not clearly, if all that remained were these two.
"Get back to the others, Jamal. And if you have to fight him, Jamal, don't do it as I did, fight like a team." Boom said, before falling back unconscious.
Erthymea only nodded, as Jamal put the box of vials in an unused bag.
"You're staying until the end aren't you?" Jamal asked her, to which she nodded.
"It was an honor. Thank you, for everything," he said feeling better as he opened the door and out of the hospital.
Once he was gone, Erthymea sat down and looked back at the weakened Boom. A new generation of fighters was here to take their places, just like the one before and the one before that one. She just couldn't believe it ended like this, but she was grateful, knowing that they would not be like them.
