Youden strummed his fingers over one of the taboons in a small town only ten miles away from the outskirts of the capital. Who didn't think of the genius idea of adding a knife in front of them and with abilities of them being enhanced with one's powers, of course not him, too busy taking out some of the best fighters in the world and preparing their army for the annexation of the capital? He hated letting cities with wonder and delight fall to ruins, but that was the way of war. Once they got through, Port-o-Bea would be their final strategic capture. Every other town and smaller cities were worthless compared to their two most profitable and valuable metropolises. And his recovery against Boom didn't take longer than the last fight, not only with healers nearby but that he didn't damage him as badly as before. What a blessing to be him.
He watched as another division of soldiers arrived and were greeted by others nearby. Thankfully, more and more people were arriving by the day, and they might have a surplus of troops than the original plan required. Their army severely decimated any troops in their way, due to some parts of Saputa underestimating them, and their military might. Oh, he was excited for Saputa City to be in his hands.
"Youden, we should win this decisively." a general approached him from behind.
"Of course, not to worry about, now that Boom is probably dead." he grinned.
"About that. Well, it seems he has a slim chance of survival, especially since Erthymea escaped through a portal somehow. Even if he survives, there will be permanent damage, no doubt about it." the general confidently said.
"That's the point. He won't be a threat. Now look at us, we are unstoppable!" Youden pointed out to the soldiers and weapons around them.
"But what about the Supers program? With the kids they were planning to have years ago?" the general added.
"That thing was canceled when I left them. It doesn't exist anymore."
"One of them almost killed me." a voice mentioned behind him.
Turning around this time, he saw a man in tattered clothes, burn marks everywhere on him, grinning.
"It's an honor to meet you," he mumbled to Youden, moving closer.
"Stay back or I'll kill you. Explain yourself." Youden announced, the general getting in the tattered man's way.
"His name is Jamal. I'm Chenji, and I've studied you and your history. It's history in the making."
"Okay, but he asked you about the person getting killed." the general spoke up.
"Oh, Jamal and the rest of them. There are like five of those pests, trained under the Supers, or what I've seen and can assume, what's left of them. They're good, especially the Jamal one, probably one of the strongest teens I've ever seen."
"His power?" Youden inquired.
"Something with fire. He has the ability it seems to light himself with it, and use it in a variety of different ways."
"The others?"
"I haven't studied them as much, but it seems like one can move things with darkness, one turns to animals, another one has none, and the other has something with his legs. But they aren't as powerful as Jamal, or at least yet."
"I think I have an idea. We have a group called the Masked Fighters. Why don't you hunt them down, and kill them for me." Youden confidently said.
"I only want Jamal, that man will die in my hands. I'll let your other fighters take out the rest."
"Don't you think it's a bit messed up to take out children?" his general piped in.
"Don't object my commands. I know what I'm doing, and I'm ending any possible chance of a threat, no matter the cost. Now, why don't you take him to the Fighters and give them as many details about those teens as known? You will be paid accordingly."
"Oh, I just want your honor!" Chenji exhaled, as the general lead him to the Masked Fighters.
Youden didn't want to be working with fanatics, but he could finish him later when he wanted to. But for now, all threats had to be removed, no matter what had to be done.
