Chapter 20 - Our Photos

We all took group selfies in different places and in different angles and with different facial expressions sounds funny for us because we boys never did this. We boys always thought like its silly to make faces while selfies but the gorgeous gals made us agree to them just with a small smile which we felt strange yet we were happy doing it with them. It made them happy and we did not want more than anything I felt like other boys are feeling same which kind of got stuck my thought again.

I opened my gallery and showed Sana all the clicks that I took during rituals she came and stood next to me while I was scrolling the pics. She saw all her pics with family and friends and specially ones with her dad. She looked at me and told me that other than aunt Pari no one ever could capture her and Uncle Shawn moments the way I did and also other moments with her grandparents she liked them a lot. She was happy I could feel it; She smiled and She gave me a hug and she thanked me.

" Thanks Rocky! You are the best! These pics I really really like them a lot"

You are welcome honey so can I take pics with you. She pulled out from hug and asked Vicky to take our pics in different places again . We also took some selfies while I saw her jasmine flowers were falling down from her hairs. So I helped her pin the flowers in her Hair and she looked at me for a second in my eyes and thanked me.

Kumar sent couple of messages in private chat. When I opened They were actually pics of minutes ago when I was helping her pin the jasmine flower It was captured by him also there were few from yesterday while baking when I helped her wipe flour from her face even that were captured by him. There was one thing which was common both days she looked at me for a second in my eyes and she thanked me. Those are my favorite pics.

If we see those pics it may seem like we have been looking for longer than a minute but actually it was just some mere seconds yet pics were so natural and beautiful I couldn't stop smiling.

"She was shy, She was blushing, She was smiling and she was happy. I was happy beyond happy" in all those pics.

Thanks Buddy beautifully captured and cant express my gratitude in words! I sincerely thanked him.

I called her and showed her the pics she smiled and looked at me for a second and asked me to send those pics to her private chat.

We all spent our day while eating different dishes and chatting around. By evening all guests were gone and we all changed and relaxed in our sleep wears.

Grandma Ratna came in with salt and red chilies in her hand followed by grandma Leela holding stand with red hot charcoal and asked all of us to stand in line. We followed her command and did so.

Grandma Ratna rotated her arms in clockwise and anticlockwise directions from our head to toe while she was chanting something and she went to near grandma Leela and added the chilies and salt to the red hot coal which gave little fire and smoke which made our eyes tear and me and Ian we started sneezing and rest started to laugh because they had already closed their nose and avoided the sneezes but we both sneezed continuously for like minimum ten minutes. When I asked Sana what was this for? She said that's called removing drushti ( removing negative vibes around us).

Me and Ian we both looked at each other and we both were feeling same. This is like very new for us. Even when we had sleep overs with Kumar and Vicky their parents loved us and their parents treat us equally. This was the first time we had sleep over with girls and all families and all these rituals and traditions that we are seeing its new. They involve people, Their emotions and it shows togetherness this was new for us.

Ian has a family but they have some issues and their parents are split and he doesn't get to spend holidays with complete family. There were days during holidays when he just came my home since he couldn't tolerate them.

Its like me and Ian we both have discovered new emotions with in us. and We both are loving every minute here and I can see the happiness in him.

Both grandma's cared for all of us. Me and Ian we were new for them but they both treated all of us equally like their own. They all loved us and they accepted us like we are no differences and no complains which is very sweet. I wanted to stay with them and get pampered like Sana.

May be this is what dad meant sometimes moments are more than enough to live happily. I understood what he meant now.

After grandma went girls thought we should help her Sana to set her room. She readily agreed and we divided our work.
