Emperor Kirtan watched in amazement as a researcher took apart the top seed in the World's qualifying tournament. She wasn't the only one. The arena had fallen silent, as if everyone was sharing one held breath.
"Who is this Elliot?" Kirtan asked.
"According to the data I have, he is a new researcher in the genetics lab. He rapidly moved to higher profile projects, and is now the main researcher on the intelligence protocol," Jerome said.
"Interesting. A man with some mystery, strength and intelligence. How did he go unnoticed for so long?"
"It seems that he just arrived one day and asked if he could work in the labs. He was not a citizen or military member, so they tested him, and then put him to work," Jerome said, frowning a little at the data on his holo-projected screen.
